Coco Lee Man yesterday attended a magazine award ceremony. Tony Leung Ka Fai accepted the award and after the event quickly left. Lee Man said that as soon as she saw Leung Ka Fai, she would be reminded of his revealing scene in the film THE LOVER. "At the time I was quite a fan. He is handsome and friendly. Back stage I asked him for parenthood advice. Next year I will release a new record. I am ready to be a mother because the record is my baby too."

Donnie Yen Chi Tan is busy with his new film THE ICEMAN COMETH 3D (BING FUNG HUP). Reportedly the lead actress is Eva Huang Shengyi. Because he is in school I have to see whether he can accommodate."

Wong Jing takes a jab at The Grandmasters

Posted by Admin 0 comments

The film YOUNG AND DANGEROUS: RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI: GONG WU SUN DIT JUI) two nights ago wrapped up production with Sammy Sum Chun Hin. Producer Wong Jing produced Sum Chun Hin's performance could rival Francis Ng Chun Yu's. Denise Ho Wan Si as Sister 13 is even more convincing and he might make a spin off movie with Sister 13. Wong Jing said that THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HO) will open a week before YOUNG and he will not compete against himself. He said, "As for THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI), after several dozens years of fighting should I still be afraid? Wong Kar Wai every time says that he is great, I will worry about him when the movie is actually released!"

Sum Chun Hin luckily did not see Ng Chun Yu's version of his character until very late, otherwise the outstanding performance would definitely affect him. He said, "This morning I just got the notice to shoot the ending again. The previous ending hopefully will be in the DVD. Although I have a double this time, my arm will still be on fire. Earlier S.H.E. had an accident, fire is more dangerous."

Jackie Chan picks up a Giant Lizard with bare hands

Posted by Admin 0 comments

The Emperor Motion Picture, Jackie Chan Productions and Huayi Brothers joint release CZ12 will soon open. Big Brother Jackie Chan worked on the film on a mysterious island and ran into a large lizard. Big Brother invited it to guest star.

Jackie Chan joked that on the set he had "many strokes of genius". Not only hand grenades, machine guns, rockets were used as comedy props, but on the mysterious island he also ran into a giant lizard that was silly looking and very tame.

As Jackie Chan approached it, the lizard did not dodge and slowly went about its own way. Jackie Chan then daringly picked it up, much to the surprise of everyone. Yet this lizard let Jackie Chan pick it up like a kitten. Later other actors like Yao Xingtong and Laura Weissbecker were not afraid either as they took turns to embrace the lizard. Finally Jackie Chan even gave it a cameo in the film!

Speaking of the production, Big Brother admitted that it was very tough because he indeed pushed all the actors to their limits. Whenever he was able to do everyone had to be able to do. To display the shock of the treasure hunt, Jackie Chan made the interior designs their best. In the Mainland a 100 year old ship was constructed in a 5,000 square meter studio. He said, "Such a large studio is very rare, luckily a good friend is making a movie and heard about my need. He backed out and said Big Brother you shoot first. Living up to the audience expectation, making movies with diligence and details are the secret of my success over the years!"

All work and no play for Charlene Choi and Ekin Cheng

Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin and Dior Cheng Yi Kin in the Universe new film MY SASSY HUBBY (NGOR LO GUNG NG SUN SING) played a couple that has been married for years. The film was shot on location in Queensland, Australia and received the local tourism bureau's sponsorship. Ah Sa said, "Last year I went there for a photo book shoot. The location was truly very pretty and very suitable for the ending of the film. So I recommended it for everyone to go again!"

Upon her return, Ah Sa said that she felt very relaxed. "Around 4PM I would already feel very sleepy. I listened to the sound of the waves and was very relaxed. There I didn't have any phone reception at all, it's exactly like a paradise. I didn't have a care in the world and no trouble at all!"

In the ending, Ah Sa wore shorts and a tank top with snorkeling gear, but because the production was rushed and the local storm season, she and Ekin were unable to dive in the Great Barrier Reef. They both screamed, "What a shame!"

Shawn Yue and Ethan Juan call their lines gross

Posted by Admin 0 comments

In the film THE GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI) Shawn Yue Man Lok and Ethan Juan (Yuen King Tin) have many brotherly scenes. Their characters' ambiguous relationship was difficult for them. They joked that the Andrew Lau Wai Keung designed dialogues were too gross and made them nauseous. Ah Lok in the film played a palace official who looked very cool in an interrogation scene with Siu Tin, but he accidentally fell and became the laughing stock. Even the horse made fun at Ah Lok's expense. When he rode a horse across a stream, the horse acted up and stopped in the middle of the stream. He was submerged in the cold water as if nothing happened until the director yelled cut. Then he could not help but screamed, "I am freezing to death!"

Daniel Wu wears 20 Kilogram Armor for his Children

Posted by Admin 0 comments

Just announced to be a father soon, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) in the Lu Chuan directed Emperor Motion Picture THE LAST SUPPER (WONG DIK SING YIN) played for the first time a historical figure Xiang Yu. Daniel said that this was a very memorable experience. "Most of the characters I played before were fictional characters. Now I am playing an actual historical figure, Chinese history should be a required lesson! When my children grow up I can tell them their father once played Xiang Yu."

Because the Hegemon King of Western Chu Xiang Yu looked very dominating, the director in order to bring the history back to life went to the museums to capture all the historical relics on film and created the costumes a new with ancient clothes making methods. Daniel in the armor looked heroic, but actually everyday he spent a hour to change into the costume. He said, "The armors and the costume weighed 20 kilograms, every time I put them on or took them off I needed 45 minutes. So I wore them all day long into the night and tried not to remove them until work ended. During the shoot I was almost one with them."

Five years since BLOOD BROTHERS (TIN TONG HAU), Daniel finally had the chance to work with Liu Ye and Chang Chen again. He said that the reunion was fate and felt that they each had a sense of steadiness. Their acting also showed maturity.

Drunk Eric Tsang Fired Up Slaps Suki Tsui's husband Kenny Wong

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

A few nights ago Eric Tsang, Suki Tsui and her husband Kenny Wong appeared at the J.W Marriott Hotel for former Miss HK Karman Cheng and Chan Chi Ho's (the son of Sun Hei Football Team leader) wedding. Eric got really drunk at the wedding and bumped into Kenny. Apparently, Eric was displeased by how he handled the whole 'celebrity drug use' incident, where celebrities were caught on video using drugs at Kenny's restaurant. The two eventually got into a dispute. Someone shouted: "[You] butthead, causing so much trouble! You're even messing with your own people!" Another person angrily fired back: "What! I have money, super ** awesome!" ('**' censors the profanity) Then someone slapped Kenny and in the chaos, someone else struck Eric's head and shouted: "I'm going to get someone to ** you!" Then Eric refuted: "Stupid! You ** mess with me, you'll be in ** deep trouble!" At this point, the two were in mutual hostility. Timmy Hung and other guests immediately pulled Kenny away. Eventually, the police arrived at the scene and apparently there were people from the 'underworld' (gangsters) that arrived to see what was happening.

The 'slapping' incident shocked the entertainment industry. However, there is another version of the story. It was rumored the drunken Kenny encountered Eric, who was also drunk, but in this story, Kenny took initiative and asked Eric for help. He said Eric has status in the 'underworld', so he hoped he could help him settle all the gossips and misunderstanding. When Eric asked if there really was celebrities using drugs at his restaurant, someone said there is no video clip that exists. Eric was immediately upset and someone scolded Kenny that he's causing so much trouble and then the person slapped Kenny!

That night, after Kenny got slapped, he left the wedding and called the police. His wife, Suki Tsui, accompanied him to the Queen Mary Hospital for check up. Yesterday morning, Kenny and his wife were prepared to leave in the police car, but were surrounded by over 20 reporters.

Eric Tsang was accompanied by good friends Benjamin Lam and Michael Miu to Central police station for investigation. Because Eric had not sober up yet, thus couldn't give his statement and nobody witnessed him slapping Kenny, he was released until he sobers up. The police will invite him back at a later time.

Reporters contacted Kenny, he said the incident has already been passed to the police, therefore he cannot comment. However, he denied the allegations that he fought back and expressed the person who started the rumor is not human, don't know what's right and wrong. Regarding the public doubting whether the 'celebrity drug use' video clip actually exists? Kenny said: "The rumor going around in the public states that one of my employees took the clip. I don't know if the clip actually exist or not. As for what the CCTV at my restaurant recorded, I cannot disclose that because the police is currently investigating."

Yesterday many artists had negative criticisms on Kenny. It was rumored, he is the person behind the majority of the recent gossips. Kenny expressed: "Impossible! I never liked exposure. (Worried all the negative criticisms may affect your wife, Suki Tsui's work?) I haven't been thinking that much. I have always given her space, in terms of her jobs."

There are other rumors that Eason Chan asked a middleman to help Kenny settle all the gossips, Kenny admitted someone has invited him out for dinner to settle the recent gossips, but he is unsure who the actual person who invited him was. Suki declined to comment on any of the incidents.

Nancy Wu Enjoys Being Supporting, Lead Actress Take it Slowly

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

In the past few years, Nancy Wu collaborated with Wayne Lai on three separate occasions including Rosy Business, Forensic Heroes III and most recently The Confidant. In The Confidant, Nancy's role is quite heavy as she appears from beginning to end, and she develops an ambiguous palace maid-eunuch relationship with Wayne. Nancy and Wayne have paired up several times and the chemistry just gets better each time. In addition, Nancy's acting has been getting positive feedback, Nancy said, "Wayne is a great actor. I've learned a lot after working with him so many times. At first, I felt really pressured, but now it's gotten better and my expectations has gone up as well. This time, I had a very comfortable collaboration with him because the story is about an ambiguous relationship between the two of us, so there isn't many hugs and kisses involved. Most of our scenes comes from the heart and emotions. We really like the story too."

Netizens called the Nancy and Wayne pairing "Lin Yung" (lotus) because Nancy's character is "Sin Yung" and Wayne is "Lin Ying". Not just that, the two also has a duet, The Confidant's sub theme, Sun and Moon. In fact, Nancy participated in the New Talent Singing Contest before, and her singing skills are up to standards. She only got 'half a song' this time, but still satisfied her cravings. She said: "It is such a rare opportunity that I get to sing. Friends and fans who know me, knows that I love singing. I've waited for this day for a long time. I'm already very happy to be able to sing half a song for the anniversary."

This year, Nancy won "Best Supporting Actress" at Astro On Demand's Awards 2012 in Malaysia and at the 17th Asian Television Awards 2012 (today, Dec. 6th) based on her mute/deaf role "Ting Yan Chi" in Gloves Come Off. The TVB Anniversary Awards is just around the corner, and Nancy can start promoting for her role in The Confidant. When asked if she's desperate to win awards? She frankly said: "Actually, yes. I've always been a supporting actress and I quite enjoy being in supporting roles. Of course, I do hope to become a lead actress some day, but take it one step at a time. I have confidence and TVB has confidence on me." However, this year the 'Supporting Actress' nominees are strong. She said: "This year there is a lot of competition, such as Mandy Wong, Aimee Chan and Elena Kong are all very outstanding."

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
Rebecca Zhu and Mandy Wong attended TVB's celebration for the "December Birthdays" employees. Mandy will be turning 30 on December 21st, which is coincidentally Dooms Day. She laughed and said none of her friends are willing to spend the day with her, but she does hope something good will happen before Dooms Day. "This year I'm stepping into a new stage in life, turning 30. I hope I'll get a birthday gift at the anniversary awards and a turning point for myself as I develop further into the second half of my life."

Rebecca said she celebrated her 25th birthday with a group of friends at a karaoke a few days ago, and got several surprises. She got a leopard birthday cake, but didn't get any underwear of that style. She laughed and said she's very "heavy aftertaste". She also exposed she has a pursuer, and when asked what he did for her for her birthday? Rebecca smiled sweetly: "He didn't celebrate my birthday with me, but did give me a very heartwarming and useful gift. I'm very happy." Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
King of Cantopop, Eason Chan, is rumoured to go on a six-month hiatus, starting from next April, to salvage his marriage with Hilary Tsui for his beloved daughter's sake, while resting his strained vocal cords.

Eason's manager could not be reached for comment.

The relationship between the celebrity couple was reported to be on the rocks, after the two got into a huge fight following Hilary's involvement in the drug party scandal.

The singer appeared to be in low spirits during his concert in Beijing last weekend and his manager had to calm and appease him.

Though Hilary's manager denied the rumours that Eason had yelled at his wife and warned her to "behave decently", she revealed that the former actress has indeed been in a bad mood lately.

She added, "Anyone would be unhappy when such things happen."

Lisa S.: It's a girl!

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
Hong Kong-based model Lisa S., wife to fellow celebrity Daniel Wu, announced news of her expectancy this week. Speaking to reporters at an event yesterday, she revealed they are looking forward to welcome a baby girl.

The 37-year-old, who is three months pregnant now, shared that Daniel is very excited about their bun in the oven. The mum-to-be even laughed at the thought of her daughter bringing home her boyfriend when she grows up and is worried that Daniel would become a jealous in-law or even exchange fists with the guy.

Although she is happy to be expecting a child, regardless of gender, the couple hopes to try for a son in future. She added, "I hope to teach her well and not be like me because I was really naughty when I was a kid."

Lisa confessed that she has piled on 16 kg and the weight gained is concentrated on her chest and bottom areas. When asked if she would be breastfeeding the child, Lisa nodded and jokingly teased the female reporter if she wants to try it.

The couple has decided to deliver their bundle of joy in Hong Kong, but they plan to send their daughter to the United States to study in future. Daniel is expected to go on a one-year work hiatus after the child's arrival.

Lisa also mentioned that a number of friends have offered to think of the baby's name but they have yet to come up with a suitable one. While she is not feeling nervous about being pregnant, she admitted that answering reporters' questions unnerved her.

Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen starred in the Wong Kar Wai directed THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI). Earlier in part one of THE ROAD TO THE GRANDMASTERS everyone saw how hard they trained, some online even praised Leung Chiu Wai for being willing to drop his big star halo and learn martial art from the start despite being a Best Actor. Yesterday THE ROAD TO THE GRANDMASTERS part two was released online. Viewers were able to see Leung Chiu Wai's training with Wing Chun master Ip Man's final personally trained disciple Mr. Leung Siu Hung. Over 3 years of tough training, Leung Chiu Wai already had a solid martial art structure and powerful attacks. He was able to cleanly break through a several inch thick wooden board. His improvement was shocking. Master Leung said, "Leung Chiu Wai's advantage is that he has no burden or bad habits from any other kung fu, gradually he is able to absorb the spirit of Wing Chun." Wong Kar Wai too said, "I hope the Leung Chiu Wai played Mr. Ip is a mix of Ip Man and Bruce Lee. I have to break everything on him and shape a person anew."

Peter Chan's Wu Xia is one of Time's Best Of 2012

Posted by Admin 0 comments

Time Magazine announced its 10 best films of the year. Ang Lee's LIFE OF PI came in third and Peter Chan Ho Sun's WU XIA came in eighth. 15 years ago Chan Ho Sun's COMRADES ALMOST A LOVE STORY (TIM MUK MUK) was in the top ten as well. Chan Ho Sun was surprised to hear the news because WU XIA has been seen as a bomb that even made him question himself.

Chan Ho Sun said that WU XIA's box office did not reach 200 million, its performance was quite distant from its expectation. The reviews outside were quite polarized as well, as negative reviews made him question himself. At first he thought that he found the road that was suitable for him to make a wu xia film, but in the end the general public did not agree and made him whom was always self confident to feel that he had too high of an opinion of himself. He said that he could lose the money and the movies, but he could not lose the person. The failure of WU XIA was an indisputable fact, because as long as one viewer disliked this film it was a failure. Now with the Time Magazine recognition, he was also relieved. He said that 15 years ago COMRADES ALMOST A LOVE STORY was selected as one of the 10 Best Films and brought attention to him for these 15 years. This selection of WU XIA, the film that warms his heart but also breaks his heart the most, was quite meaningful as well.

Chow Yun Fat flirts right in front of his wife

Posted by Admin 0 comments

The film THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) earlier held its premiere at the Singapore Film Festival. Chow Yun Fat and his wife, Yolanda Yuan Quan and Feng Wenjuan along with producer Andrew Lau Wai Keung and director Wong Jing were among the attendees. Huang Xiaoming was absent due to his leg injury. Fat Gor had quite a flair, even with Fat Soh next to him he still openly flirted with girls.

Fat Gor in the film had relationship scenes with Yuan Quan and Monica Mok Siu Kei. When a female reporter asked him about the romantic scene experience, he jokingly publicly "wrote a ticket" and asked her to leave her card. He would call her for a candle lit chat at night.

Fat Gor is a Singapore son in law. When he promoted in Singapore he joked that he hid in the hotel. He did not dare to go out because he was afraid that he did not treat his wife well enough normally and was worried that his wife would find someone to avenge her. Fat Soh was used to Fat Gor's jokes. When asked about how she felt about her husband's intimate scenes, she helplessly said that she did not mind. Fat Gor said that at first he was anxious that viewers would not like THE LAST TYCOON, when the film ended with thunderous applause he finally breathed a sigh of relief. He bowed to the audience in appreciation.

Fat Gor said that the most exciting scene during the shoot was the Nanjing Road explosion scene, with a plane fly over and the scene was as grand as a firework display. During his kiss scene with Yuan Quan he felt the heat like the one from the explosion scene. He enjoyed that very much as well.

In the film he had many crying scenes. Female viewers were moved to tears too. As for praises for his convincing performance, Fat Gor joked that because the set was filled with smoke, his eyes teared up. In addition the director said that this scene was very important, if he did not perform well he would not receive the rest of his payment. Thus he could only cry with all his might.

Veronica Yip cherishes her time with her mother

Posted by Admin 0 comments

Veronica Yip Yuk Hing, Alan Tam Wing Lun, Anthony Chan Yau, Peng Kin Sun and the "Hong Kong style Psy" Wilson Chin Kwok Wai yesterday worked on the Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG 2013 (NGOR OI HK 2013 GUNG HEI FAT CHOI) at the Shaw Studio. Producer Eric Tsang Chi Wai was present to supervise. In the story banker Chin Kwok Wai went to collect from restaurant boss Tam Wing Lun who co-signed for a friend "Wong Ngai Gei". Alan's wife Hing Hing immediately made her displeasure known to him and even immediately puffed out her chest to threaten him!

During the shoot, Hing Hing saw the "counterfeit Psy" and excitedly took photos with him. She said that her children's favorite was Psy but they watched the Hong Kong version more times than the original. Working with Hing Hing for the first time, Tam Wing Lun looked hilarious. He joked that Bak Leung Gum cut his hair and the style was called "Lok Leung Boon" (Six Ounce and a Half)!

Guest starring in a comedy after so many years, Hing Hing admitted that comedy was hard. She was nervous and had a lot of pressure from all the media coverage. "At first I thought since I came to play and work part time, I wouldn't have much pressure. I never expected to regret it after I took it because I had to put down the children. However so far I rather enjoy it. (Would you make another film if the acting bug grows?) When the acting bug acts up of course I would, but the schedule has to be accommodating. Even if I am willing, I don't want to bother others if I perform poorly."

Hing Hing said that she was the happiest about being with her mother who suffered from hemiplegia. She said, "When I came back before I came with a big group of people. I didn't stay too long in Hong Kong. Thus over the decade there I only saw Mommy at one or two dinners. After having my son she hasn't come to the U.S. for nine years. In the past half a year her health has been very poor and she had a stroke. She is almost 90, I have to cherish our time together more."

JJ Jia unhappy with filming crew

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Muslim Hui-Chinese actress JJ Jia recently blamed her filming crew for her lateness in attending a promotional event.

According to Jaynestars, on 1 December, the actress arrived 45 minutes late at a promotional event for a mobile phone brand in Mongkok. Her lateness reportedly caused the event staff to roam around pointlessly for nearly an entire hour.

However, in a press conference following the event, JJ apologised to the event staff, stating, "I only received the 3pm filming schedule for "A Change Of Heart" this morning and it took an hour for the filming to start. That is why I could not arrive on time. I am sorry. I am also upset with the sudden turn of events."

Asked if her lateness was caused by the production assistant's inability to work effectively, JJ said, "I don't want to talk behind people's backs, but I am very unhappy with their arrangements!"

This is not the first time actors have complained about filming crews. Earlier, Francis Ng and Julian Cheung reportedly blasted the "Triumph In The Skies 2" crew's production assistant for doing a poor job of handling their schedules and managing time.

It was revealed that TVB recently held a ceremony to present staff members and actors who have been with the station in the last three decades with the "Service Awards for Long-Term Employees of Excellence".

Popular Asians reported that on 28 November, the event that was held in a hotel ballroom in Tsim Sha Tsui awarded actor Wayne Lai and actress Nancy Wu each with a gold medal weighing nine grams to celebrate their tenth year anniversary with TVB. Meanwhile, 69-year-old veteran actor, Lau Kong, walked away with the biggest reward, which was a large gold medal for his service in the last thirty years.

In his acceptance speech, Wayne Lai, who joined TVB in the late 80s, stated, "The past ten years have been very productive. I hope to do even better in the next ten years."

Meanwhile, Nancy Wu, who started auditioning for TVB in 1999, was rather surprised when she heard that she won a gold medal. The actress stated, "I was in complete shock when I heard that I would be receiving this award with Wayne. I have been watching Wayne on TV since I was very little!"

Surprisingly, comedian and director Stephen Chow, who enrolled in TVB's acting class in 1982, was awarded the thirty-year gold medal together with Lau Kong despite having left TVB in the early 90s to pursue a career in film. It was revealed later that the actor received the highest medal due to a technicality; the actor has never officially ended his contract with TVB.

The actor, however, was absent from the ceremony.

Is Kevin Cheng losing status in TVB?

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
Expect to see fierce competition between well-loved TVB artistes Wayne Lai, Kevin Cheng and Raymond Lam for the Best Actor award at the upcoming annual Hong Kong TVB Awards on December 17.

Kevin, who has spent most of his time filming dramas in China recently, has been nominated for Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in Gloves Come Off.

However, rumour has it that TVB's high level management has internally decided to ban Kevin from winning top honours for the second consecutive time this year.

An insider revealed TVB's management initially selected Kevin to be the most suitable actor for its upcoming period drama, Cold Mountain Hidden Dragon, scheduled to air in 2013. However, the actor was reluctant and rejected the role immediately as soon as he was informed that former rumoured girlfriend, Charmaine Sheh would be casted as the female lead.

TVB's high level management was reportedly furious with him and had to restructure the entire story plot; Kevin's fellow colleague, Kenneth Ma was offered the role of male lead eventually.

Following Kevin's rejection of the role, the management reportedly reduced his TVB assignments as he was missing from the new dramas that were introduced at the TVB Sales Presentation 2013 last month.

Charmaine was unaware about the rumour on Kevin and commented that "all the details for her new TVB drama in 2013 have not been finalised yet".

Michelle Yeoh hopes to get pregnant

International superstar Michelle Yeoh has been dating FIA Chairman, Jean Todt for eight years now. Although the lovebirds enjoy each other's company, they do not have any concrete plans to walk down the aisle.

'He [Jean] is a romantic at heart and proposes to me everyday, but I am satisfied with the present stage of our relationship,' Michelle replied sweetly to reporters during a beauty event in Taiwan on Monday.

However, as Michelle and her beau both love kids very much, the former even revealed that she had undergone in-vitro fertilization (IVF) previously but it was unsuccessful.

Michelle, who has been exercising regularly and eating in moderation to maintain her youthful and healthy physique, still feels miserable at the thought of her failed IVF attempt.
The 49-year-old expressed, 'I have always wanted my own children. You'll naturally feel dejected when things do not go your way. Perhaps, it's just my fate.'

Michelle mentioned that she and Jean, 66, have 'reached a certain age', and would let nature take its course right now. Michelle is also considering adopting as an alternative to realise her dreams as a mother.

Fala Chen denies tardiness allegation

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Fala Chen is in yet another controversy at the set of "Triumph in the Skies 2", and this time for her alleged tardiness.

Asianpopnews website reported that a friend to a TVB makeup artist wrote on her Weibo, "Miss C is always late. The makeup artist had to wait for her since 5.30 am for almost two hours before she showed up for her makeup. Are you working or on a holiday? Do you know the meaning of being punctual?"

Despite only using the initial 'C', netizens were quick to speculate that the initial was referring to Fala Chen.

However, the actress was quick to respond to the speculation. In a tele-interview on her return to Hong Kong from Paris, the actress admitted, "I was only late once or twice, but only for about 15 minutes or so, and I did not impact the filming at all. There was a miscommunication between the different crew members and the problem has been resolved."

Her statement was supported by co-stars Francis Ng and Nancy Wu. They explained, "Every actor has their own makeup artist. Even when filming in Hong Kong, the actors might not show up at the same time with their makeup artists. As we were filming in a foreign country, it could have been a miscommunication issue. Sometimes the actors don't even need to have his or her makeup done that early in the morning."

Meanwhile, the friend of the makeup artist has apologised to Chen, and updated her Weibo, saying, "From now on, let's refrain from spreading hurtful things about others."
