Ronald Law has feel when pursuing Cilla Lok

Saturday, July 21, 2012 Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB 'Post-80s' artists Cilla Lok and Ronald Law (Moon) became good friends afer collaborating in the series Witness Insecurity. Last year, the two played bad students in Yes Sir Sorry Sir, and this time they meet again, but they are no longer students. In the series, Moon madly pursues Cilla. Cilla frankly expressed it's a funny feeling, she said: "Because I'm already really familiar wih him, so to develop feelings for him is quite difficult. Sometimes when I look at him, I get this 'too familiar' feeling! In the series, he has feelings for me, but I'm always yelling at him. Of course I don't treat him like that in real life, so it's an interesting feeling."

Although, in the series Moon is always running around doing things for Cilla, it turns out they are actually good friends. He frankly expressed their friendship helped with their acting. He said: "I remember that time when we were shooting Yes Sir, Sorry Sir, we started getting to know each other. Many people thought the students in Yes Sir should develop further! However, now in Witness Insecurity, I believe its because of our familiarity, that we can get even more into character and create more sparks!"

Vincent Wong, Benjamin Yuen & William Chak's Memorable 'Tiger Cubs' Scenes

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB handsome guys Vincent Wong, Benjamin Yuen and William Chak possess healthy body figures. In their new series, Tiger Cubs, they play members of the SDU and went through a chain of physical training. For the sake of making the scenes realistic, Vincent gets injured while shooting a car chasing scene: "That scene, we had to roll on the ground and then dodge the on coming car, but at the time I rolled into a large rock, that I couldn't see and injured my back. I went to see the doctor later and found out my pelvic bone shifted. I had to do 2-3 months of physical therapy!"

In the series, the actors often show off their built bodies, displaying their masculine charm. Ben was asked if he and the other actors compared their body shapes? He laughed: "Actually we all have different figures, but when this group of men are together, it feels pretty cool! The most memorable is each time we have those bathing scenes, we would first get together and do some pull ups before the shoot! Haha."

As for William, Tiger Cubs is his first TVB series, so it was very meaningful for him. He frankly expressed shooting this series had many challenging action scenes. He said: "I remember there was one scene where we had to climb up the fake ceiling to get into another room to capture the criminal, that night Oscar Li and I were arranged to do this scene. We waited 5 hours before we broke and jumped into the room. So it was really memorable!"

Fala Chen was beat by father for being a naughty student

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Last night, Fala Chen and Raymond Lam attended The Night Before Exam Results' Release event hosted by apm in support of the Hong Kong student taking exams. Fala said when she was in middle school, she was already studying overseas, so she never experienced this type of pressure of waiting for the examination results to release, but she did have a different type of pressure. Fala said: "Although we don't have that great of a pressure overseas, but waiting for the colleges to send acceptance letters is actually pretty stressful too. When you see a large envelope in the mail, then you would be really happy and feel relieved because college acceptance letters aren't in small envelopes."

Has she encountered any setbacks back in her school days? Fala laughed: "When I was young, I was very naughty. I remember when I was in still Mainland, in the first grade, I got a 0% on one of my tests, so I was unwilling to put my name on it and refused to turn it in. When I got home, I got hit by my father. Since then, when I got to middle school, I started behaving and my grades started going up as well. However, when I attended college in the States, I got my freedom back, freely going and in out of he classrooms, there was no pressure."

As for Raymond, he has also experienced the pressure of waiting for the exam results. He attended middle school in Hong Kong and only had average test scores. He said: "No matter what, the most important is that I've put in my greatest effort. Its important to have support from loved ones, and shouldn't give too much pressure. I remember when I was in middle school, I rarely went out late at nights, but the day before the results are released, my parents would allow me to have a day of fun."

Raymond hopes every student finds their right direction. He has been through it and can be their example. Back then, he was not used to going to school in the States, and left college before he completed his degree. Fortunately he didn't take the wrong direction by entering the entertainment circle. He has been working in his first job until today, so studying is not everything, knowledge is just to set the foundation for the future.

He confidently said: "I don't think there are changes, even if there are, it's just that I've matured."

IT'S LF documents the photos back when Raymond was still in the TVB Artistes Training Class, his foolish and behaved look, to today, where he transforms into a matured handsome man. Since his debut, Raymond has participated in over 30 modern and costume series.

When asked if he's worried fans may discover the changes of his appearance (suggesting plastic surgery) through this photo book? He suddenly had a huge reaction and asked reporters: "Change? You have watched me grow, my looks haven't changed right? I don't think anything changed, even if there are, I look mature now. Perhaps I'm already over 30 years old, especially this year, my acting career and image are much more matured!" He explained its because of his recent series that he grew a mustache, its just a coincidence, and he did not deliberately tried to change his appearance.

Raymond modestly expressed he's not a good writer, and he does not dare to write his own book, but the contents in his photo book are definitely his own words. Lynn Xiong denies abortion rumors

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The film LOVE IS......PAJAMAS (NAM YUN YU YI FOK) two nights ago held a wrap banquet. Boss Raymond Wong Pak Ming presented bird's nest to Teresa Mo Kwan Shun as nourishment for her comeback, a cookbook to Karena Ng Chin Yu who did not know how to cook even eggs, a golden pig gift certificate to Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam) as Raymond Lam Fung wished her a wedding this year. She accepted but later explained that she was only joking.

Lynn recently suffered from an old hip injury acting up and would rest for awhile at home. As for unwed pregnancy rumors and that due to boyfriend Aaron Kwok Fu Sing declining marriage she had an abortion, Lynn said, "The more they writing the dumber they get, it's neither a story nor news. When I stay home people would write about me like this!" She said that she has experienced a lot of rumors, when the reports passed she would not be mad.

Lynn felt that abortion was immoral and she would not take part. "I can't take a life. If I am lucky enough to be pregnant, it would be very rare. Ultimately you can't just say you don't want it. People who understand me definitely wouldn't believe the rumors. Yet people online would believe them. I am truly very helpless." Reports also claimed that her friends leak information, Lynn was rather sorry but did not lose confidence in her friends. "I don't have any secret, I don't mind if friends know. I too need someone to talk to." Why does she not talk with Sing Sing? Lynn said, "Guys are hard to talk to. He should be talking with his friends about cars."

Lam Fung in the film had no intimate scene with Lynn. He joked, "No, I don't want to stand tippy toe." He thanked the tall Lynn for wearing flats for the shoot so he would not be embarrassed. Lam Fung said that he was not a chauvinist. "In the past I have had girlfriends who were taller than me in heels. I permitted girlfriends to wear something sexy, but of course not when she was just going to pick up something! As long as the situation is suitable it's fine."

Kenneth Ma flirts with every girl, Tavia Yeung criticizes he's just all talk

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Following The Hippocratic Crush, Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung are paired up again in new series Three Kingdoms RPG (TKRPG). In the series, Kenneth's role travels back in time, and is a pretty outstanding and challenging role. His on-screen partner, Tavia also praises that his role is fun. Although TKRPG was said to be a series broadcasting during the period of the 'ashes', Tavia joked: "When there's Raymond Lam in it, then it's not ashes!"

Kenneth's role in TKRPG is ignorant and incompetent, but his nonsense, the "HK Guy's 18 Styles" has left a deep impression on audience. He frankly expressed the role resembles today's young people: "So, when I get back to the Three Kingdoms, I learned the Chinese traditional cultures and virtues. Actually this series does describe that the values of modern people really differs from the people back in ancient times."

A Good Husband Candidate

Although in the series Tavia and Kenneth are a couple, Tavia still frowns and complains: "Kenneth is terrible, he doesn't like me!" Taking the modern view of love into the ancient world, Kenneth laughed: "There are a lot more playboys in the modern world, they just have to hit on all the girls, but eventually my character will learn to cherish this girl (Tavia's role)."

When speaking of Kenneth singing a love song to Tavia in the series? Kenneth laughed and said he sang a few songs, but in real life he has never sang love songs to his girlfriends before. Although Kenneth has a boring and non-romantic personality, Tavia exposes that Kenneth does more talking then doing: "He is a person that can make everything sound invincible, but actually he has no capability of doing any of it! I know him very well though, sometimes he can be pretty attentive and treats his mother quite well. Being with him can be get pretty boring, usually he just goes out to play ball and grocery shopping with his mother, but that's the first choice when choosing a husband."

Don't mind being a couple team

In terms of appearances, Tavia Yeung and Kenneth Ma match quite well as an on-screen couple, and are a favorite pair to many in the public, but how come they don't go as a 'couple team' to events and earn more money together? Tavia laughed: "I want to too, but the truth is, there are schedule conflicts. I have work every day, and do hope to earn some extra income as a couple team." When speaking of her hot rumors with Him Law? Tavia expressed she does not mind making extra income together with him: "If there really are job offers, I'll be more than happy to accept them!" Asked if its because she'll get more money if Him Law attends the events with her? Tavia laughed: "Not related, I just think if there is guy standing next to me, then the price would definitely be higher! Of course, whether if it's Kenneth Ma or Him Law, the most practical is earning money. I personally will not decline to jobs just because of the rumors with Him."

Soon after, Tavia quickly changed the subject and exposed that Kenneth is actively looking for a wife now! However, she was just referring to getting a new car. Kenneth said: "Not actively looking, I just want to get a 7-seater van, convenient to talk my family out on Sundays."

Linda Chung & Philip Ng have already met the parents

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

In the recent year, Linda Chung has been promoted as one of the first line TVB FaDans. She does acting and singing, charged into the music scene, released several albums and sings the drama theme songs. As she continuously climbs up in her career, she hopes to keep her love life low-key. Earlier, rumored boyfriend Philip Ng complemented that she's a 110% girlfriend. She also praised him back and said he's a good choice for a husband, but the two have not admitted to their relationship.

In Linda's latest series Witness Insecurity, she plays a rich girl with clinical depression and is protected by her father. In reality, her parents have taught her since childhood that she must not be at a disadvantage to any guy, so all along, she had been very careful when choosing a partner. She knows to take it step by step when meeting guys. Linda rarely has rumors, she said: "There are lot of people making their relationships public now. If it's good, then it's good, but when it's not good, then there will be a lot of trouble that comes along. I am a person, who gets familiar with others slowly, I have to know the person for a few years before I develop further with them." The rumor with Philip has been going on for 5 years, is it still not the right time to go public? "Five years is just how long we have known each other."

Linda and Philip often keep in touch by phone, and have already met the parents: "My parents have seen all my friends. He also likes to bring his parents everywhere he goes. Philip looks really strong on the outside, but in fact he's very attentive." When asked if he would make a good husband? Linda said: "I think he's a good man, meets my standards. I'm a strange person, but he's patient."

When she first debuted, the passive Linda was not used to communicating with strangers, and usually kept everything inside: "Can't say it's depression, but sometimes I would cry at home, thinking that there are people bad mouthing me." After she entered the industry, she started to understand sometimes you have to take things slowly.

When speaking of the end of the year awards, Linda expressed let nature take its course: "I'm not good enough yet, still have great room for improvement." Last year, her 'Miss Koo' role lost the 'My Favorite Female Character Award', but she learned to accept the circumstances. "When a good role comes along, then you won't be able to stop the award from coming. Perhaps it's not the right time now." Linda supports Tavia Yeung because she is a very hardworking actress.

[The Sun] In episode 10 of Witness Insecurity, Netizens found a discrepancy. The plot was about Cilla Lok asked to delete the photo of Bosco Wong and Linda that she uploaded on social networking site (Friendsbook), but once she logged into the site, the webpage turned into Fansbook. The scenes were extremely inconsistent! Also, a Netizen suspected Linda's theme song plagarized Ivana Wong's A Touching Second (一秒感動) since the first 5 tones were the same.

Jessica Hsuan wants to be the bad person and kidnapper

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Jessica Hsuan, Joe Ma, Vincent Wong and Yoyo Chen attended the promotional event for TVB series Tiger Cubs yesterday. The current broadcast times for the series are on Saturdays and Sundays, Jessica expressed she was initially worried viewers may get confused and miss the Saturday broadcast, and hence affect the ratings. Now that the ratings are doing well, it truly helped opened a new series broadcast time slot. Joe expressed if the ratings get better, he'll treat the cast and crew a meal to celebrate. Asked if he'll wear swim trunks? He said: "To make it even more enjoyable, we can go for a cruise trip." Asked if Jessica would wear a bikini to celebrate? She shook her head and expressed that she'll leave the heavy responsibility to the younger ones, like Yoyo Chen.

Earlier it was reported based on statistics, Jessica has been held hostage 24 times in the 18 years of her acting career. Jessica said: "So happy, never thought I've been kidnapped that many times, but its better to get kidnapped than wearing a wedding dress. Each time, there are different weapons and people, it's so exciting. Once I see wedding dresses, I get bored. (How about when you wear one for your actual wedding?) I don't like to make a big deal out of it, just peacefully get married. I may not even wear a wedding dress." When asked if she wants to be the kidnapper instead? Jessica said she wants to be a bad person and then she immediately pretended to kidnap Joe Ma, but he laughed and said she's not convincing. Jessica said the person she's kidnapping can't be like Joe, 6 feet tall.

Joe was asked about not being in Triumph in the Skies II? He said: "I'm already very happy to be able to be in the first part. I see the cast for the sequel is pretty strong as well, but I already died in the first one, can no longer come back to life." He expressed if it's reasonable for the story and TVB needs him, he can make a guest appearance.

Ron Ng withered: "As Long As She's Happy"

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

The confusing relationship between Ron Ng and Viann Zhang, the "Ron-Viann Love", further develops when Viann announced their breakup yesterday. It was also rumored she hooked up with Mainland actor Chen Li, since there were pictures of them out at the nightclubs and heading home together! Yesterday Ron attended an awards ceremony in Guangzhou, and appeared relaxed towards the whole issue. He was presented with the "Enjoying Thin New Product Award' based on the commercial he did for health product brand Xing Jian Tang.

Regarding the rumor that he and Viann broke up 3 months ago? Ron said: "The breakup, I only found out last night when the reporters asked me. I don't understand why she described our relationship to reporters like that. Perhaps earlier we had some arguments. (She's upset that you didn't publicly acknowledge that she's your girlfriend?) Not upset, we never personally said it, but many people already know about our relationship. (What is the situation like now?) I hope she's doing well, as long as she's happy." As for the rumors that there's a third party? Ron said: "Shouldn't be related to a third party. (Do you know Chen Li?) No, I just know they are shooting together!" He was asked if he contacted Viann? He emphasized three times that he still keeps in touch with her. As for Viann's comment on Weibo: "What you see before your eyes may not necessarily be the truth." Ron's manager expressed he will not comment.

Also, yesterday Francis Ng was trying out his costume for Triumph in the Skies II, asked how he sees the 'Ron-Viann' break up? Francis expressed: "He'll be fine when he starts the new series, since there's more female flight attendants for him to choose from."

TVB executive Virgina Lok expressed she called Ron yesterday, but he's currently working in Mainland, so they didn't get a chance to discuss in detail. Virgina said: "I will urge him to take a few days to calm down and really think about what he wants to do or maybe things will turn better."

TVB & ATV 'sits together' for the first time to jointly do the London Olympics coverage

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

TVB and ATV jointly held a press conference yesterday to announce the broadcast arrangements of the 2012 London Summer Olympics. The two TV stations announced the unprecedented use of the same live broadcast room to report the Olympics opening ceremony. When the time comes, TVB and ATV hosts will 'sit together' to provide coverage on the Olympic games.

Yesterday Eric Tsang, Nat Chan, Kate Tsui, Shirley Yeung, Rebecca Zhu and 30 other artists took part in the press conference to boost the atmosphere and to carry out a 'demonstration' against iCable, who has won the exclusive broadcast rights of the Olympics. Eric laughed and said he received a secret order to help iCable, but unfortunately he has to stay with TVB. Eric is happy that the Olympic broadcast issue has been resolved because the Olympics is a grand event after all and every individual should be able to enjoy it.

Last year, ATV and TVB had a verbal war due to the TV rating miscalculations, but this time they suddenly became friends again, and announced that ATV artists will be going into TVB City to take part in a special program. TVB assistant GM (Au Wai Lam) expressed on stage thanking iCable for investing 120 million HKD to buy the broadcast rights for the Olympic games. "This time, the collaboration between ATV and TVB reflects the Olympic spirit, it's a triple winner. Thank you iCable and ATV. Together (ATV/TVB) we have a hundred years of history, our broadcast of the Olympics will definitely be successful!" Then Mr. Au joked: "In fact, we should let ATV come up and talk first. Firstly, that is being polite and secondly the location is called Tai Po Civic Centre, ATV is located in Tai Po, so it's their home ground!" ATV's VP (Kwong Hoi Ying) also expressed TVB Pearl and ATV's International channel will make up the Olympics channel. Each day, there will be 10 hours of coverage on the Olympics.

Kate Tsui and Shirley Yeung hopes to go to London. Shirley expressed: "I had the experience of doing interviews in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. (Who's going to look after your daughter?) My mom and worker can help!"

Myolie Wu almost got pants pulled down by Roger Kwok on 'Fun Three 1/2 Weeks'

Thursday, July 19, 2012 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Last night, TVB recorded Fun Three 1/2 Weeks's anniversary special, where many artists including Myolie Wu, Roger Kwok, Jazz Lam, Timmy Hung, Michael Tse, Eric Tsang, Louis Yuen, Kenneth Ma, Kate Tsui and Jason Chan participated. The artists reenacted the old anniversary skits done by Chow Yun Fat, Andy Lau, Tony Leung, Patrick Tang, Lydia Shum, which included 武松打虎 (1982), 朱門新怨 (1988), 一步一開心 (1988) and 呆佬拜壽 (1993). Myolie reenacted 一步一開心 with Roger Kwok, and almost lost her pants just like how Yumiko Cheng previously did during her Tung Wah Charity Show performance.

When Myolie and the others were playing so hard on the slanted platform that they forgot about their appearances, Roger quickly goes and pulls Myolie's athletic pants off, making her reveal her fine waist and underwear. Myolie got so frightened she quickly got back on the ground and tied her pants tightly. At first, Myolie didn't believe her underwear was revealed, but when the others were able to say the color of her underwear, she laughed: "I didn't wear leopard panties today, whatever was revealed must just be the side, it's just the side of it. Phew, scared me! No problem! I'm very conservative. It was so much fun tonight, what's most important is viewers enjoy watching too. (Almost becoming a second Yumiko?) mm, I'm scared!" Jazz expressed on stage that her boyfriend Bosco Wong is hugging girls to upset her, but Myolie generously expressed it's just a joke, but if he dares to do that, she will have to ask Bosco himself. In the end, she kept asking again if it was really true she revealed her underwear.

The other thriller happened to Timmy Hung. When he was performing 呆佬拜壽 , he kept tripping on the 'plum blossom stumps' and got pushed down by Yoyo Mung. Timmy ended up bumping his sensitive areas. He expressed: "I'm okay, I know how high that area is, relax, I can still have babies!"

Another shocker was in 武松打虎, when Michael Tse kissed Louis on the lips. Everyone in the studio were shocked. Michael later expressed: "That's my surprise to Louis and the audience. If I said it before the fact, then it won't be fun anymore. That moment, audience were able to give us a reaction." How does Louis' lips feel? Michael laughed: "Smelled like lipstick, his lips were exceptionally soft."

Viann Zhang announces she broke up with Ron Ng

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Ron Ng and Viann Zhang's relationship had always been a controversy. Earlier Ron openly admitted their relationship and that it's currently stabled. Yesterday there were photos of Viann and a Mainland actor Chen Li that circulated, which puts their relationship to the test once again.

However, according to reliable sources, Ron and Viann's relationship ended 3 months ago and the reason was indeed what was previously reported, that Ron kept delaying on making their relationship public, so she didn't have a sense of security. At the time, Ron thought the break up was just because Viann was 'fussing' and throwing a tantrum. He called Viann several times and sent her many SMS, but she didn't respond. It was then Ron decided to publicly admit the relationship to patch things up. According to the insider, after Ron announced the relationship, he called Viann many times, but she refused to answer. Ron then sent her a SMS and asked if she had seen his post on Weibo and if they could be like how they were before? However she still refused to get back together.

Last week, the powerless Ron attended an event and was asked about Viann, he openly expressed "we both love each other", putting all his effort into getting back with Vian. Unfortunately, Viann didn't turn back on her decision.

Reporters contacted Viann's manager to confirm the rumor. He directly admitted that Ron and Viann have already broken up: "Viann hopes that we could announce on her behalf that she and Ron have indeed broken up. Everything else, she will not respond to. In the future, Viann hopes everyone could just focus on her work, and stop asking questions about Ron." Reporters contacted Ron to confirm if the relationship is over? He expressed: "No comment."

Tavia Yeung & Him Law go on their 'early' honeymoon to Korea

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Him Law and Tavia Yeung have refused to admit their 'sister-brother love', but recently it is becoming likely that this rumor is true. Yesterday morning, a reader called [Oriental Daily] and exposed that he/she witnessed 32 year old Tavia and 27 year old Him at the airport on July 17th for an early flight to Korea. Also, the reader knows their scheduled flight and seat numbers as well. Reporters contacted Him's management yesterday and the spokesperson Ms. Lee expressed: "Any pictures? Him has taken a few days off, but it is personal, so we cannot respond."

Since the news is out, when reporters tried to contact Tavia, the calls could not go through. It was understood, the two sparked love while shooting a series, and last year they were spotted out BBQing together during Halloween. Wonder if its because the relationship is becoming more stable, that the two have decided to indirectly admit and were even both absent from TVB's big event yesterday.

After 9 years since Triumph in the Skies, the sequel Triumph in the Skies II is finally starting. Yesterday Francis Ng, Chilam Cheung, Myolie Wu, Fala Chen, Ron Ng, Kenneth Ma, Rebecca Zhu, Elena Kong and the rest of the cast attended the press conference.

Back then, there were rumors that Francis Ng was displeased with Myolie, but yesterday they chatted happily. Francis even teased that Myolie looks fatter than before. He also said to Ron: "You came early!" indirectly criticizing that he used to be late to work. Ron expressed: "Francis and I still have a brotherly relationship, but I'm no longer the young man 10 years ago, our relationship evolved into a friendship and we get along more comfortably."

Francis hasn't been in a TVB series for many years, he smiled and said: "I'm getting a huge raise." He also denied the rumor that he was delaying TITS2 from starting. It was said TVB is relying on him to save the lack of Siu Sangs? Francis expressed: "Wah! I have a lot of Siu Sangs behind me!" He is not worried about working with newcomers, but he fears he may break his promise and come late to work. Francis exposed back when he was shooting TITS, he had a naughty idea to get out of work. Because shooting was too exhausting, he and the others played 'rock paper scissors' to see who would have to pretend to be sick, so they can get a day off from work. At the time, Myolie was still a newcomer, so she didn't participate and had to get to work early.

Chilam sets the next 6 months aside to shoot TITS2 and has turned down several opportunities to shoot in Mainland, losing quite a bit of money. He frankly expressed he accepted this series to return a favor, because back then, executive Tommy Leung, casted him in Cold Blood Warm Heart and got him a lot more job opportunities. This time, he's playing a senior pilot and plans to use clothing from his own personal wardrobe, which is worth about 6 figures. When asked if he's paying TVB, instead of TVB paying him? Chilam laughed: "Because of Tommy, doing it for the audience, no choice, I'm just too good friends with Tommy."

Myolie plays two roles in the series. She exposed Zoe will only appear in the first two episodes and then she dies. Her other role is a tomboy, who works in aircraft maintenance. The producer asked her to cut her hair short for the role, but Myolie is reluctant to give up her current haircut, but for the sake of work, she will accept it.

In the series Fala gets into a love triangle with Francis and Chilam, but she doesn't know who she'll end up with yet. Fala said her development with Francis starts off as a bickering pair, while Chilam is the charming pilot who has a romantic storyline with her. She's unsure if there are any kiss scenes, she laughed: "Perhaps when we get to France, in the romantic atmosphere, we'll go for a light kiss. I'm not too worried since there's a television scale."

Kenneth Ma develops a 'sister-brother love' with Elena Kong. He expressed in reality he does not mind this type of relationship, women does not necessarily need men to take care of her, it could be vice versa. He also said he can accept a girlfriend 20 years older than him too, but he never been in such a relationship before.

TITS2's blessing ceremony is scheduled to take place on July 24th and filming officially starts on July 26th. Filming will go on for 6 months, and filming locations will be in London, Paris, Hainan and Taiwan.

Chapman To can tell that Joey Yung is blossoming

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Joey Yung Cho Yi and Chapman To Man Jat starred in the film DIVA, which will be released this summer. In the film Joey played a music diva like herself, surrounded by manager To Man Jat, driver Wilfred Lau Ho Lung (Si Hing) and assistant Bonnie Xian (Sin Sik Lai); off screen Joey and Si Hing fell in love on the set and the film became the mark of their relationship. Joey avoided mentioning Si Hing throughout the process, but when she mentioned that she in order to get into her character used a lot of her own true feeling. "All of my heart break, upset, blossoming view on love are used in the film." Ah Jat joked, "I can tell you are blossoming!"

When Ah Jat was asked about Joey and Si Hing missing from the Guangzhou location shoot, Ah Jat said, "Our entire team indeed stayed in the same hotel, but I didn't pay any special attention to the two of them!" Joey added, "We knew each other originally, it's not all that mysterious." Joey again changed the subject and said that the film production in turn gained her friendship with Ah Jat. As for winning the love with Si Hing, Joey bashfully laughed and said, "Let's not talk about that!"

Speaking of the lack of Si Hing in the trailer, was Joey deliberately keeping a low profile? Producer Ah Jat explained that "The trailer was cut earlier, at the time I didn't know something like this would happen." However Ah Jat admitted that when considering the film promotion, he once thought about gaining attention with the "Lung Yi Romance". After further consideration he felt that it was not necessary, but he would not avoid Si Hing to promote.

Joey's past film box office has been average. She joked, "I can't lose this time because I have never won." Yet before the shoot she was worried for producer Ah Jat. "I asked him many times whether he was afraid of casting me, because when a producer failed there will be no next time. My acting was mediocre." Ah Jat instead had confidence. Earlier with Gillian Chung Yun Tung he achieved the best performance. He said, "The most important is the word of mouth. Joey is an amateur actress, her full time job is music diva. The most important is for viewers to feel her performance is good. This time she as the diva could use her real emotions, if she performed poorly she would get spanked. Yet this time she let go." Joey admitted that she gave her all in her performance. Aside from the kiss scene, she also had a back baring scene.

The film LAN KWAI FONG 2 (HEI OI YEH PO 2)'s cast yesterday promoted on a yacht. Shiga Lin Si Nga lost the attention as she did not appear in a swimsuit. She said, "I know my figure isn't as sharp as the other girls', no need to frighten anyone. I have never sold being sexy, I could only accept healthy sexy. My friends have never made fun of me being flat either." Her skin was sensitive to sea water. Even when she went to the pool she would swim with a tee.

Kwan Chor Yiu joked, "This time I tried it in bed, next time I will try it on the ground. This time I had a passionate kiss scene with Lin Si Nga, next time it should be familiar to me. I will be able to bring my co-star into another territory."

329 TVB Artists gather together for large group photo

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

First row, left to right: King Kong, Alfred Hui, Aimee Chan, Raymond Wong, Selena Li, Ruco Chan, Susanna Kwan, Kenneth Ma, Nancy Sit, Wayne Lai, Roger Kwok, Nat Chan,

Liza Wang, Carol Cheng, Eric Tsang, Moses Chan, Myolie Wu, Raymond Lam, Fala Chen, Michael Tse, Linda Chung, Ron Ng, Kate Tsui, Jason Chan)

Yesterday 329 TVB artists gathered together for the annual group photo. In the past at the TVB Anniversary Lighting Ceremony, the standing position of the artists represents their current status. Last year, former chairman Sir Run Run led over 120 artists for the group photo, but this year, with a new chairman and boss, things are a little different.

TVB boss Chan Kwok Keung, executive chariman Norman Leung and the 329 artists took a large group photo together for the summer promotions (Amazing Summer) and for the cover on the 2013 TVB calendar. This year, the theme colors were red, green and blue, so the artists were told to dress in any of the three colors. Most of the first line Siu Sang and FaDans attended including Moses Chan, Myolie Wu, Fala Chen, Wayne Lai, Michael Tse, Raymond Lam, Linda Chung, Kate Tsui, Kenneth Ma, Ron Ng, Aimee Chan, Jason Chan, Roger Kwok, Ruco Chan, Selena Li, Kristal Tin, Natalie Tong, Mandy Wong, Nancy Wu, Shirley Yeung, Liza Wang, Carol Cheng, Nancy Sit, Eric Tsang, Nat Chan, Susanna Kwan and the former ATV artists Joey Meng and Alice Chan, etc. Some artists were unable to attend because they are either busy shooting series or working in Mainland, like Bosco Wong, Kevin Cheng, Tavia Yeung and Sharon Chan, etc.

Former ATV artists, Joey Meng and Alice Chan were placed on the second and third rows. The two former 'ATV Big Sisters' meets again, Joey said: "It's a magnificent feeling, seeing so many colleagues at all at once. (Next time stand closer to the front row?) Let TVB arrange it, don't think too much. It's best to be stable." It was rumored Alice is getting neglected by TVB and only gets to stand in the third row, but she already felt satisfied and does not agree that she's being neglected.

Myolie Wu promoted to TVB's Big Sister?

Since past TVB FaDans Jessica Hsuan and Charmaine Sheh left, Myolie gets to stand near the middle of the front row, implying her Big Sister status. The previous second line artists, Selena Li, King Kong, Ruco Chan, Jason Chan and Alfred Hui were all moved to the front row. By this, we can see TVB is honestly lacking Siu Sang and FaDans.

When asked about her Big Sister status? Myolie laughed and said: "As long as I get to stand somewhere." Then she sucked up to TVB: "This is called unity. I'm very happy today because we get paid and get a lucky red envelope. These events are good, very cohesive." Myolie continued and expressed Liza Wang and Carol Cheng are the true Big Sisters. As for Selena, who has been successfully promoted, she expressed she's thankful of TVB giving her the opportunities: "Let us, younger generations, stand in the front to show off our outfits. I'm very pleased to be able to stand in the first row, very difficult to stand there! (Stabled?) Hope so." She said her next goal is to get the Best Actress award.

Leung Ka Kei & Priscilla Wong huge jump to the 2nd row

Another focus at the event is iCable executive Sandy Yu's two favorites Leung Ka Kei and Priscilla Wong. Although the two are inexperience and aren't that well-known, they still got to stand in the second row, which clearly is better than long time TVB artists Grace Wong, Vivien Yeo and Jessie Shum, who were standing in the 6th row.

TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming) expressed new show Fun Three 1/2 Weeks is a grand production in the Amazing Summer project. A large group of artists recorded for the TVB Anniversary version with four skits. The group photo will also be used for the cover of 2013's TVB calendar.
