Tavia Yeung supports Kenneth Ma's acting, not too old for role

Saturday, July 14, 2012 Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

TVB new series Three Kingdoms RPG has recently been attacked by Netizens that it's a sloppy production, Kenneth Ma's too old for the role and his acting is too exaggerated. Despite the criticisms, it was announced yesterday at the promotion the premiere week averaged at 30 points, peaking 35 points. The cast including Raymond Lam, Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung, Leung Ka Kei, Sharon Chan, Ruco Chan and the rest of the cast took part in the promotional event. The cast were not affected by the criticisms and happily played the games. Raymond reveals he's planning to celebrate with the cast and crew next week as well.

When speaking of the poor special effects seen in the series? Raymond said: "Already said before there won't be large-scale battle scenes, it's just a simple production using a historical setting." Kenneth is too old for his role? He said: "TV series are to entertain audience, just as long as viewers enjoy watching. The Kenneth I know is very quiet, this time it's a breakthrough for him. He's exaggerated because its a comedy." Raymond also denied the saying that Kenneth replaced Ron Ng. Netizens attacked Leung Ka Kei's acting as well, but Raymond supported her, she was comfortable, competent and respectful towards her work. Raymond said she just appeared in the series, so judgements shouldn't be made too early.

Tavia denied that the series is a sloppy production because it's not focused on the magnificent battles, but rather the theme of traveling back in time. The importance is being able to bring in the comedy and a fresh feeling. As for Kenneth being attacked by Netizens? She said: "I don't think he's old, he performed very well. There is no definition of how old a gamer has to be, could be up to 50 years old." She also praised Kenneth had a lot of development in his role, and has a different style than Ron Ng. She didn't see Ron Ng's version of the role, but she believes they will both produce a different effect.

Also, this year Tavia has 5 series on hand, it was said she can compete with TV Queen Myolie Wu this year. Tavia said: "Last year I had 4 series, can't validate it like that. Many things are about the quality, not quantity. Have to see if its a good time along with many other factors for it to work. (Ex-rumored boyfriend Chris Lai is rumored dating a wealthy girl, if he gets married, will you wish him happiness?) Of course happiness, otherwise do I hope for them to break up?!"

Bosco Wong ready to hire bodyguards to protect Myolie Wu in Mainland

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Bosco Wong is currently in Shanghai shooting for Mainland drama The Woman on the Bread Tree 麵包樹上的女人 until late July. Then he'll be flying over to Taiwan and Japan to continue shooting. Last night, he had some free time, so he attended a store opening ceremony. Dressed in long sleeves and a black outfit in the summer weather, Bosco's back was soaked in sweat and appeared a little embarrassed. Bosco denied he's a frequent guest at nightclubs. He only occasionally goes for a few drinks with friends. Working in Shanghai, he spends the majority of his time after work in the hotel.

It was said two temporary actresses were raped and killed in Hengdian, Bosco said shocked: "Really? Must be careful, especially at night. When in an unfamiliar place, its best to have someone with you at all times. Last time when I went to Hengdian, I thought the safety was pretty good. I mostly stayed with the crew though." His girlfriend Myolie Wu worked in Hengdian too, Bosco was very concerned and if necessary, he'll hire bodyguards to protect his girlfriend. "Myolie is in Hong Kong now and she has two assistants to accompany her in Mainland, shouldn't be a problem. If there really is danger there, then must hire bodyguards. I haven't encountered any dangerous incidents in Mainland. Shanghai is a big city, quite safe, working here is very comforting."

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Ruco Chan and Suki Tsui were recording a magic performance at a mall for TVB show (玩轉三周1/2). Ruco was worried the trick may be easily seen by audience at a mall: "There are people everywhere, can easily reveal the trick. If there are any mistakes, I'll just put up my Chok look." When speaking of Kristal Tin exposing that he promised to do a nude run if the No Good Either Way ratings reach 36 points, and in actuality the ratings went up to 37 points, he said: "Really? I didn't say that. I went for a jog at the beach earlier, but wasn't a nude jog. Next time I'll go topless!" Asked if he doesn't have confidence on his body figure? He expressed each individual will have an area they feel is a weakness.

Kevin Cheng supports Ah Sa, getting off-key isn't a big deal

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Kevin Cheng will be releasing a new album soon, yesterday he attended Porsche Design's store opening ceremony. When asked about Ah Sa's live performance earlier, where she got off-key? Kevin defended her and said humans aren't robots, he said: "Have to see their physical condition at the time, it's hard to get the perfect pitch every time. Not that big of a deal. (Leon Lai can also get off-key during live performances?) Yes! Heavenly King can too!" Kevin reveals his new album will center on slow songs. He laughed and said he's been practicing his singing in the shower, in hope to prevent the embarrassing moment of getting off-key. Asked if he'll cut down on acting, and spend more time in practicing his singing? He immediately said: "It's fine! I know!"

Kenneth Ma Seeking Victory Through Despicableness

Posted by Admin 0 comments
[Excerpt translated from a review by Patrick Kong]

Watched a few episodes of "Three Kingdoms RPG"...feel that it still has enough entertainment value. The first episode explained the unaccomplished house guy Kenneth Ma, who only knows how to play games, accidentally falling into a time spiral, going back to the Three Kingdoms. His knowledge of the Three Kingdoms entirely relies on the strategies of computer games. Creating laughs when going to the ancient era is expected. However, the fun part of this character is that it is victorious in not having baggage. His self-created 'HK Guys' 18 Styles' is very humourous and accordant with the times! I have always stressed that Kenneth is TVB's underestimated actor. He is suitable for good and evil. When portraying comedy, is even lively and adorable. If not portrayed by him, the attraction of the series "Three" would definitely have a great deduction. That boldness in letting himself go when portraying a rascal sense is something that all TVB siu sangs do not dare to imitate. That proves that, sometimes, must be despicable enough and free enough when performing comedies. On the contrary, Raymond Lam is still chok when portraying Zhuge Liang...knocked down by Kenneth by a wide margin in every partnering scene...not able to strike back at all.

Felix Wong and his daughter Adrian signs with CTI, to collaborate in a drama together

Friday, July 13, 2012 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Felix Wong and his 22 year old daughter Adrian Wong signed with CTI and will collaborated in a detective drama in August. CTI chairman Ricky Wong especially held a contract signing ceremony for the father-daughter to show respect for Felix. Felix, who had once bashed TVB for being harsh, saw the sincerity in CTI, he said: "Before when I signed with TVB, I was just in an office, never have I signed at a hotel. This is very refreshing! (Higher price?) Reasonable! (Help your daughter get a higher price?) No, money is not important for a newcomer. It is actually to gain experience. (Upset?) No, striving to give advice and teach my daughter to read scripts. (Advice?) Must not be on time, must be early!"

Raymond Lam supports 'Three Kingdoms RPG' differs from 'A Step into the Past'

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB new series Three Kingdoms RPG (TKRPG)starring Raymond Lam, Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung has been continuously criticized by Netizens in the last several days. Strong criticisms centered on how TKRPG was poorly done compared to the 11 year old popular time travel series A Step into the Past. The special effects were ridiculously fake, the war scenes had no horses and the lead actors were attacked as well. Raymond and Kenneth were the target of attacks by Netizens. Kenneth's acting was too exaggerated and he's not suitable to play a young gamer based on his age. As for Raymond, his slow reactions make ChuGot Leung (Zhuge Liang) seem incompetent and stupid.

Raymond strongly supported TKRPG that it is different from A Step into the Past and expressed for his ChuGot Leung role, he has put in all his heart: "This is my first time putting on a fake mustache for the entire series, it was difficult. My laugh in the series sounds like Santa Claus, always 'Ho Ho Ho', because I was afraid the mustache would fall off." He also praises his partner Leung Ka Kei's professionalism: "I told her that her role (ChuGot Leung's wife) is an ill and ugly woman in history, so I told her not to put on fake eye-lashes and her lipstick should be as light as possible. She really trusted me, very professional." Raymond also reveals he will no longer shoot another TVB series this year, he said: "Coming up, I have to shoot a Mainland drama, release a new album and shoot films. I hope to establish a foundation in the film scene first." He discloses he currently will shoot one series per year with TVB.

Yesterday when Kenneth was recording for TVB new show (玩轉三周1/2), he responded to criticisms of his exaggerated acting, he said: "There will definitely be a little in comedy. My role was created to be very high, so can't be too calm. A lot of the funny scenes comes from on the spot improvisation. The initial plan was to make it funny, the most important is audience to think its funny. (Then are you stealing Raymond Lam's limelight?) He has his smart side."

Sheren Tang shed tears at Jacqueline Law's memorial service: 'She was an Angel'

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Last month, former TVB actress Jacqueline Law passed away from pancreatic cancer in her Singapore home. Yesterday (July 12), the memorial service was held for the late actress. Good friends and relatives who were unable to attend Jacqueline's funeral in Singapore attended the memorial service to bid their final farewell. Good friends from the industry including Sean Lau, Sheren Tang, Ada Choi and her husband, Sherman Chung, Sharon Chan, Virgina Lok, Cindy Au, Annie Liu, Monica Chan, Dicky Cheung and many more.

For a less grieving memorial service, Jacqueline made many arrangements before her passing. She wanted her favorite Gospel song Return Home (回家) played during the service. This was to tell everyone she had just return to Heaven and that they do not need to cry. The remembrance book Grace Used Enough (恩典夠用) was also centered around the optimistic positive theme and made up of entirely happy photos of Jacqueline with her family and friends during her lifetime. The first page printed Jacqueline's 'My Golden Phrase': "God has his beautiful intentions for everything. No matter what troubles there are, it is all just happiness with makeup on!" She hoped this phrase would comfort her family and friends' grief. Her husband (Lau Chi Man), wrote a farewell message to Jacqueline in the book using English. Aside from strongly complementing that Jacqueline is someone in his heart that gives him beautiful light day after day, he frankly expressed losing Jacqueline made him feel lost, heartbroken and alone.

At the service, Sheren Tang was the only guest arranged to give a eulogy. Yesterday it was rumored when Jacqueline got married, she once gave all of the jewelries used for her marriage to Sheren and Monica Chan. Once complemented Jacqueline as an angel, denied without hesitation: "No, that's made up!" Sheren reveals she visited her before: "Earlier I visited her, the final time was while I was shooting Beauty at War. I had a day off one day, so I went with my mother to visit her in Singapore, at the time she was still doing well. (Any final words from her?) Usually we have a lot to chat about, nothing special. (Any final wishes?) Hope everyone believes in God. Jacqueline depended on Christianity to get out of the fear of death, very courageous." At this point, Sheren already started crying, then she said sobbing: "Jacqueline able to live this long, it is already a miracle after miracle. When we first heard she was ill, we were very hurt, but we didn't know how to feel grief because at the time she was still so spiritually active." Sheren said Jacqueline continuously did charity work during her lifetime, like in Hualien city Taiwan and holding events at the food bank.

Kiki Sheung Supports Exaggerating Kenneth Ma

Posted by Admin 0 comments
New series "Three Kingdoms RPG" premiered with high ratings; however, Kenneth Ma has been criticized by netizens for acting exaggeratedly. Kenneth was recording a programme in TVB City, where he responded to netizens: "When [I] received the script, already performed in a comedic direction. On set, would also add some things on the spot, creating an even better outcome...these came from everyone's discussion". Kiki also supported him by saying, "More exaggeratign in ancient is not a problem, so Raymond Lam would continue to chok, and Kenneth would be the gag chok king!"

Kenneth Ma Revealed by Kiki Sheung to Love Married Women

Kenneth Ma and Kiki Sheung did a recording for the programme 《玩轉三周1/2》. Kiki revealed that Kenneth likes married women. Kenneth explained, "If more mature, know how to get along with others. (Difficult to take care of exes?) Never said it!"

Kiki laughingly said the she would be a matchmaker to introduce twenty-something-year-old girls to him. Kenneth does not mind the other party's age being young...stress that getting along is the most important. When mentioned being exaggerating in "Three Kingdoms RPG", he said that comedy cannot be done in such a static state, and also cannot steal the thunder from Raymond Lam.

When talked about Allan Zeman kept mentioning his baby, Andy joked: “I was standing behind him telling him Baby Stop It, haha. (Did you mind?) OK la, it doesn’t matter if people or the media talked about it, I won’t be talking about it.” When asked about his ability in taking care of his daughter and would he be bringing her to the Ocean Park, he changed his usual answer of “obedient, don’t ask” to “tell you in private”. Nope, there’s not much work.” With regards to the reports of him buying a mansion for his daughter, he expressed: “Not right to talk about it here, let the news be, I’m only responsible to reading it, with regards to whether it’s true or false, I won’t reply.”

There was another report which publish his daughter’s birth certificate which reveal her Chinese name ‘Xiang Hui’ and English name Hanna, Andy exclaimed: “Recently then I found out that one can have a copy of one’s birth certificate if you have the parents’ name, birth country and date, in addition to a fee of $140, I think this is not right. (Are you unhappy?) Nope, the rules are like this. (Will you change your daughter’s name?) I won’t give you an answer, I just feel that the system has some problem here.” When asked if he had feedback this issue to Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying, he expressed: “He has a lot of things to think about, wait till he finish his tasks on hand, this can be resolve by normal citizen, not urgent!”

During the event, Andy did not have a chance to chat with the Chief Executive as they just greeted each other. Andy revealed that he had first met Leung Chun-ying during the early 90s on a flight. When told that many citizen hoped that he could become Chief Executive, he quipped: “I’m not interested and does not have the ability!” With regards to his anticipation of the Chief Executive, Andy exclaimed that he just started his tenure, it would have to see how he does in future.

One Bosco Wong photo used in 2 series, TVB's productions are sloppy and cheap

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB is often criticized of their sloppy productions. The recent high rated series Witness Insecurity and Three Kingdoms RPG (both produced by Lau Kar Ho), were criticized that TVB wasn't serious about the productions. The former used the same Bosco Wong photo in two series, Witness Insecurity and Lives of Omission, while the latter had a large-scale battle scene without a single horse seen in it. No wonder Netizens teased that TVB's cheap!

Last night's episode of Witness Insecurity was about Linda Chung reading the newspaper that had Bosco Wong on the headlines. Bosco, who plays a police officer, was believed to have been waiting for his 8 year missing girlfriend, but the photo used on the headline was discovered by Netizens to have been the same exact one used in Lives of Omission. The difference was one is a cop and the other is a criminal. The latter said the criminal Bosco ("Bai Co") was shot to death, which means the one used in Witness Insecurity is a dead person's photo!

There were a lot of online discussions on TVB's 'one photo used for two series'. Reporters contacted Bosco, who is currently shooting in Mainland, he frankly expressed he hasn't watched the series yet because he's not in HK, but in regards to the criticisms: "I believe its just a small careless mistake, people make mistakes! I hope you all can forgive us." Lead actress, Linda said this is not something artists can control, but each series has a budget, the crew tries their hardest to do the best. It's normal that there are expectations from audience, but at the end of the day, its satisfying enough to have support from the audience.

Also, Linda is shooting one series after another. Lately she's been shooting new series Ferris Wheel Happiness with Jason Chan and has been 'promoted' to a See Jeh (senior), but Linda does not accept this title.

Linda laughed: "I am younger than Jason. Being a little girl forever is good! See Jeh is too old. I believe I'm still a newcomer since it has been less than 10 years that I've been in the industry. I'm still in the learning stage and still have room for improvement. I really need a senior to teach me. If I say I'm a See Jeh that fast, then it's a dead end for me. No one will dare advise me again."

When asked if she feels strain leading Jason? Linda expressed she doesn't, because Jason doesn't need anyone to lead him. Not only is he smart, he has also been in several series already. He's an experienced host as well, so he's definitely better than her in memorizing lines.

Vincent Wong matures after becoming a father; daughter is his utmost priority

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Vincent Wong joined Neway in 2005 as a singer, but unfortunately after two albums, his singing career was going no where. In 2008, he joined TVB where he was given many opportunities in acting. Following Gun Metal Grey, Vincent plays a cop in Tiger Cubs once again. Although both of his roles had a police family background, but the former had much more confidence than the latter. The public believes being able to portray a SDU officer is hot and that it's any actor's dream to get this role, but only he knows the suffers of this role.

Vincent believes because SDU officers are 'hot', he has to look even fitter now. "Two months prior to shooting, the producer told me to start physical training. Since that time, each day for breakfast I ate 5 boiled eggs; lunch I had lean meat rice; afternoon tea I had potatoes; dinner steamed chicken. I was on that diet for 6 months until the end of shooting and I also had to do massive exercises. Also, the uniform and equipment were really heavy. Although it's not like the real thing 60 pounds, but we still had to carry 40 pounds, so that period was truly difficult, but that helped me get into character easier."

As Vincent is often given wealthy roles, he frankly expressed he's also afraid viewers may get bored, "I could only try to put variation in each of my roles. Just like my role in the recently completed Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles, I'm a rich kid again, but because I'm the illegitimate son, so there is a little evilness in me. I really like the role. Of course what I hope most is to be able to change my acting road, get different roles. Hope there will be this opportunity one day!"

Yoyo Chen is like a lover

Vincent has only been a father for two months and already feels pressured: "In the past, whatever I did, I just thought about whether I liked it or not, but now my daughter comes first. Whatever it may be, I think of my daughter first and I think far into the future. Currently my greatest wish is to save enough money to buy a home. I hope to give my daughter a better environment to grow up in. I feel I have matured and grew up!"

29 year old Vincent, looks matured on the outside, but he's still a big kid on the inside. He laughed and said after his daughter was born, its as if his wife Yoyo Chen has to look after another child. "I always say, Yoyo is like my big brother ('dai lo'), she's much more mature than I am. After we had our baby, we had less time together, but I still found my interests in life. Someone taught me, don't treat your wife as a wife, she should be like your lover and must maintain fresh feelings."

Recently, Vincent has been in more series and his roles are getting bigger and bigger. It seems like he's getting heavily promoted, but he doesn't feel satisfied yet because he lost his singing career. "That time, I released two albums, then my career came to a halt. There was a period of time I had no confidence and always thought people were talking about me. I hid myself at home. Luckily, my former manager recommended me to join TVB, that's how I was able to develop my acting career."

Ah Sa's sings live again, takes several deep breaths feels nervous

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Earlier at TVB's Battle of the Singing Stars 2012, Ah Sa's live performance was below standards as she got off-key and didn't have enough air. Last night, she does another live performance on JSG. Her boyfriend William Chan was also recording for a separate episode of JSG as well. Ah Sa did not smile much, clearly showing her heavy emotions. When she stepped in the recording studio, fans cheered for her nonstop, but Ah Sa was still rather nervous and took several deep breaths when she stepped on stage. During her performance, Ah Sa recovered and performed the entire song before taking a final deep breath of relief.

In the last several days, there had been a lot of comments on Ah Sa's live performance, some supported her, while others wanted to bring her down. She frankly expressed she cannot be brought down that easily. She said: "I learn from the [constructive] criticisms and filter the [destructive] criticisms. (Feeling really stressed?) I already don't want to think about that word." Earlier her singing teacher Teresa Carpio expressed her company also has responsibility that she doesn't get enough sleep or enough to eat. She said: "I don't just learn singing from her, but she is also my mental coach. I hope I can do better. I think giving it some time and effort, it will be ok! What I'm most unhappy about is reporters calling my teacher."

After recording on JSG, Ah Sa frankly expressed she was so nervous on stage that one of her hands grabbed her other hand, and constantly told herself not to be scared. When asked how she felt when she got through the performance? She said: "Don't say that, give me some space and time."

Ah Sa's boyfriend William directly said Ah Sa is feeling pressure, but to avoid affecting her, he won't be going into the studio to support her. He said: "After all today she sang better, I am confident. Don't give her a death sentence just based on that one time." When Ah Sa later learned that her boyfriend having confidence on her, she nodded: "mm!"

Nicholas Tse eats Live Ants

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung in the film THE BULLET VANISHES (SIU SUT DIK JI DAN) played a hot blooded detective. In one bun eating scene he did not want any bad take, so he even ate live ants unfazed until the director yelled cut. His professionalism was praised. In the scene Ting Fung followed a deranged criminal. He hid in a dark and wet alley for a long time, several prop buns that were prepared for ration attracted a big group of ants. Because the cameras were already rolling, the crew originally wanted to stop and change the buns but Ting Fung did not want a bad take. He did not mind picking up the ant covered buns and taking a few big bites. Ants often crawled out from the corner of his mouth and fingers.

After the director yelled cut, the crew immediately took care of the ants that were on Ting Fung's face. Lau Ching Wan, Mini Yang Mi and others approached to show their concern. Ting Fung said that the move was even more able to express the concentration of the character, so he was decided to eat the "bun with extras". Tony Leung Chiu Wai starts work Ailing

Tony Leung Chiu Wai in the film THE SILENT WAR (TING FUNG JEH) played a blind piano tuner with exceptional hearing; by chance he runs into the Zhou Xun played 701 Operation Office member who leads him to become an important member. Wai Jai in the film has to give up his pair of mesmerizing eyes, which are covered up with sunglasses and bandages. He said, "Without exchanging looks, this character is very hard to play; with the depiction of my insight about my surrounding environment with exceptional hearing, early in the shoot I need some time to grasp the character."

THE SILENT WAR is the second collaboration between Wai Jai and Zhou Xun. Zhou Xun said that this time they could not act with their eyes, which was somewhat difficult; yet they had more lighter and more humorous spots and she and Wai Jai got along very well.

The film shot on location in Shanghai. Wai Jai at first had to acclimatize and was often nauseous on the set. He did not want to affect the shoot and worked while he was ailing. Directors Alan Mak Siu Fai and Felix Chong Man Keung praised his professionalism and Zhou Xun for her much improved acting.

Tony Leung Chiu Wai is not the first choice

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The film THE SILENT WAR (TING FUNG JEH)'s Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Zhou Xun "gray eyes poster" has been unveiled. Wai Jai in the film played He Bing as his electrifying eyes turned gray.

Directors Alan Mak Siu Fai and Felix Chong Man Keung and the original author May Jia were interviewed. Because the television series starred Wang Baoqiang, May Jia thought that the film version with Leung Chiu Wai whose electrifying eyes suddenly could not see would be attractive to viewers. When Mak Siu Fai was considering the cast, Wai Jai was not the first choice. "Without box office and production consideration, Feng Xiaogang was the most perfect choice for He Bing; however, Feng Xiaogang is a big time director. Without 100 million yuan it would be hard to invite him to perform. So we asked Leung Chiu Wai." Zhou Xun's character in the original work was a man, He Bing's superior. Thus they had a type of "once deeply in love but the love was already gone" feeling.

Criticisms on 'Three Kingdoms RPG': Kenneth Ma too old for role; poor special effects; too much profanity

 (Dinosaur scene looked too fake)

(Original cast in sales presentation which included Ron Ng and Steven Ma)
(No horses seen in the war scenes)

Raymond Lam and Kenneth Ma's time travel TVB series Three Kingdoms RPG premiered on Monday. The premiere averaged at 30 points, peaking at 34 points with about 2.18 million viewers. So far, Three Kingdoms RPG is the series with the highest rated premiere in the first half year.

In the series, Kenneth plays a gamer 'Win Sun', who accidentally goes into a time machine during a storm and travels back to the Three Kingdoms period and meets his idol ChuGot Leung played by Raymond Lam. 38 year old Kenneth's portrayal of the impulsive and skittish young gamer is pretty qualified, but Netizens thought he's too old for the role and isn't suitable to play this role. In the series, Kenneth had several lines in which he uses profanity, like when he mentions the 'HK Guy 18 Forms'. Yesterday the Broadcasting Authority receives 16 complaints on the use of profanity and the change in the cast from the sales presentation.

Mainland's big production Three Kingdoms (三國) is currently broadcasting on Jade HD channel as well, some Netizens compared that with TVB's version, and said Three Kingdoms RPG's special effects were too elementary. The war scenes "didn't even have a few horses around" and the dinosaur scene was ridiculously fake. It was reported because during filming producer Lau Kar Ho resigned and coincided with the part-time employee strike, so TVB had to cut down on the resources. A Netizens teased the 11 year old A Step into the Past had better special effects than Three Kingdoms RPG.

Producer Lau Kar Ho responds to the criticisms

Producer Lau Kar Ho was very pleased by the high premiere ratings. He knows there will be a celebration soon, and although he has already left TVB, he still cares about the series. As for fans displeased by Kenneth replacing Ron's role. Lau Kar Ho explained: "Differences in the sales presentation and the actual series is nothing unusual. The sales presentation was done by another producer. When I started Three Kingdoms RPG, I already said I wanted to use the original cast of The Mysteries of Love." When speaking of the criticisms that Kenneth is too old for the role? Lau Kar Ho said: "Adjustments were already made in the plot, describing that Kenneth is actually not that young." As for the poor special effects, Lau Kar Ho explained Three Kingdoms RPG is rather on the silly and comedic side, which differs from the more serious Mainland version of Three Kingdoms (三國).
