Ah Gill feels the pressure, deciding to raise children and retire from showbiz in the future

Sunday, August 07, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
As a group, Twins has already debuted for ten years and next month they are going to have their fifth concert at Guangzhou. The two members speak of their next ten years, believing strongly that they will encounter true love, get married and then find happiness. And Gillian (Ah Gill) decides that for her future children, she will retire out of showbiz while Charlene (Ah Sa), who is no longer rash in making decisions, vows that she and William will make ends meet and love each other forever.

Twins arrived yesterday at Guangzhou for a news conference about their upcoming concert there which is scheduled for September 17th. Charlene's father, who holds the position of director, also arrived at the conference. The conference managing company presented the two with cellphones as gifts, both with 518 as the last digits of the new phones' phone numbers which represents the day that Twins officially started debuting. Because the concert will be at an open area stage, it is believed that the weather will be quite humid and hot. They have thought about it and want to follow what American singer Beyonce had done where they will probably have fans integrated at the bottom of the stage as a means to cool the heat wave during the concert.

Charlene's newest movie (White Dragon Legend) [English Name is not confirmed] was nominated for one of the awards at the Venice Film Festival and she admits that she is quite excited about this. Her mother and her manager will be going with her to the festival. "I feel a little scared so I need someone to go with me" When asked if she will ask her boyfriend, William Chan to go with her, she says that he is busy filming but if he wants to he can join them.

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Earlier Stephanie Cheng cursed at TVB reporter Shermaine Wong and was instantly shut out by TVB. She regretted her behavior and apologized to the company. Her apology was accepted, and the situation ends there.

Yesterday TVB Director of Foreign Affairs, Tsang Sing Ming, expressed Stephanie and her record company provided an explanation and apology to TVB Production and Resource Director, Virgina Lok. She expressed that day she was just feeling angry herself and had fluctuated emotions, a pure misunderstanding. Stephanie also sent a personal SMS to Shermaine to apologize. Next month on theb 17th, Stephanie is going to participate in the TVB Gala Spectacular 2011 event.

When asked if Stephanie admitted she used foul language? Mr. Tsang said he doesn't know, and that the question should be asked to her personally. Did TVB lift the 'shut out'? He clarifies that TVB never said that they were going to shut Stephanie out or freeze her. TVB just wanted to understand the situation, seeing for an understanding and is not directing anything towards her.

Yesterday Michael Tse attended good friend and series co-star MC Jin's new album press conference. When speaking of his new series Lives of Omission already got over 1.7 million clicks online, Michael felt surprised and has more confidence in fighting for 'TV King', he said: "My confidence comes from Fans' support! (Steven Ma said he has confidence too?) With support from the audience, should have confidence!" MC Jin expressed he re-watches each episode several times, while his wife and family in the States are watching the series through paid TV.

Meanwhile, Bosco Wong attended a school event yesterday and it was rumored he wanted a 'contract renewal' in exchange for the TV King title. He expressed: "I still have a few more years before the contract is over, when the time comes there will be executives that will come discuss with me. (How is the prospects?) It's temporary OK, I'm not too worried."

Also, Netizens said the scenes and setting of Lives copied Nicholas Tse's The Stool Pigeon. Bosco's role as the mole is very similar to the film and even at Kate Tsui's law firm, there was the same Sakyamuni Buddha Statue. Some criticized the concept is the same as Infernal Affairs.

Selena turns hobby into profession

Posted by Elvina Chang 0 comments

TVB fandan, Selena Li is a beauty perfectionist. With love with experimenting with different makeup styles, Selena turned her hobby into a money making profession in April.

Selena invested 10 million Hong Kong dollars into a makeup school business over a year ago. According to Selena, the business has already paid back her invested amount but she did not disclose on her return. She expressed: “This industry is very competitive. There are many makeup schools around. Even sponsorships are tough to get and many even pay their sponsors.”

Recently Selena is very busy with filming. Her usual way of communication with the makeup management team is by phone or email. As the boss, she admits it is hard work and a challenge to managing the staff and ensuring staff’s responsibilities and loyalty with the school. She highlighted: “I very much value my staff. Once a month, I make time to take them to dinner and discuss openly about any issues and management agendas.” Being an artist, Selena thinks there are good and bad points. She revealed: “People only register with the school because they heard other artists been here which is good for business. Some people use this to turn minor hitches into big issues and blame me for it. So I cannot make any mistakes.”

When asked if management is difficult, Selena expressed that initially they allowed students to use however much of the school’s cosmetics and were all provided with designer make up. She added: “There were used up so quickly and lots were wasted. I had a heartache, so now we are providing each student with a set of makeup kit each. Any others, they will have to buy.”

Selena expressed that she would like to start teaching and open a DIY makeup class at the school. She added: “Every artist has praised me for the makeup I did. I also did some YouTube videos, but I would not charge over the odds just because i am an artist.”

Galie gains weight, plans to be a mum next year

Posted by Elvina Chang 0 comments

After tying the knot and becoming Mrs Lai, Gaile Lok and husband Leon Lai both have had nonstop media pressure asking them about when they plan to start a family.

Yesterday Gaile appeared as a model for the I.T Tsumori Chistato Autumn Winter 2011 collection fashion show. Dressed in elegant white and evidently have gained weight, Gaile looked happy in the show. Her appearance was supposed to be accompanied with children however, the children did not managed to get on the catwalk and Gaile had to walk out alone.

It has been a long time since Gaile had a public appearance and yesterday she admitted piling on a few pounds. Looking radiant, she expressed that she had been back to the U.S but did not confirm whether Leon accompanied her. Gaile said: “I went back to the U.S for a few months as it was my younger sister’s high school graduation. Our whole family was very happy and we enjoyed our times together. I ate a lot.” (Did you gain weight?) “I gained 5kg. (Approximately 11 lbs) I do not intend to lose weight, as I am happy. I have not done a show in a while so no need to lose weight. Plus I am getting older, not necessary to lose weight.” (Does Leon like you slimmer or fatter?) “He does not mind either, the most important things is health and happiness.”

Reporters asked Gaile when she going to have a baby? She said: “I am planning, one step at a time.” (Are you thinking of getting more healthy and fatter for the benefit of the baby?) “Probably have to lose weight before having a baby; otherwise it is more difficult to lose the baby weight.” (Are you ready to have a baby now?) “Not yet, almost.”

Recently there were reports that Gaile is infertile, in response to this she said: “I don’t know how to say this but we have not even planned (having babies). There were reports about me being infertile and another report about me already pregnant, this is pretty mean. People who don’t know me will probably think what is going on with us.” Gaile added although Leon knows about these reports, he will not take it to heart.

Reporters asked whether Gaile feels under pressure about planning a family, she responded: “Not at the moment, as we haven’t tried. If I am pregnant, I will confirm to you. I am honest.” (Are you anticipated?) “No, I can wait one or two years.” In addition, last night, Leon and Jay Chou were in Macau and appeared as guests at the concert of the Chinese singer, Chen Si Si.

Charmaine Sheh Forever Young At Heart

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB Anniversary series, Can’t Buy Me Love "公主嫁到", having taken the TV ratings of the year award last year, will be premiering in Zhejiang as of today. The series had re-used ninety-percent of i’s original cast from the previous popular TVB drama, Beyond the Realm of Conscience "宫心计".

Yesterday, the entourage of Charmaine Sheh (who acted as Princess Zhao Yang), Moses Chan (who acted as the betrothed husband of the princess), Fala Chen (who acted as the princess’ palace maid) and Susanna Kwan (who acted as the princess’ in law) arrived at Hangzhou to promote the drama.

The reporter also interviewed Charmaine Sheh on the spot. Charmaine Sheh who used to be TVB’s “biological daughter” and was heavily doted by them, had recently “married off” to mainland to do some filming and centralize her career there. With regards to the $15 million contract spanning two years, Charmaine Sheh’s smile blossomed but she declined to comment. When mentioned about love, ex-lover Benny Chan had already wed but Charmaine Sheh chose to focus on her career instead (upcoming project being a televised version of If You Are the One "非诚勿扰" and had plans to continue enjoying her “golden bachelorette” status.
Higher Filming Fees in Mainland

Because of her good interpersonal skills, Charmaine won the favor of TVB higher authorities. However, it was rumored that earlier this year, Charmaine was displeased that TVB had handled out the TV Queen award to “non biological daughter” Sheren Tang for two consecutive years and thus changed direction to venture into the Mainland market. There was even a mainland management company which offered to sign her up for $15 million Yuan for a management period of two years! Therefore, within a short span of half a year, Charmaine had already filmed a television series and a drink and makeup advertisement in mainland. It was indeed overwhelming! However, when asked about it, Charmaine Sheh smiled gently and denied that she has left TVB, “I did not leave TVB. I only changed my work arrangement with TVB to a per series basis.”
Charmaine revealed that she is currently busy filming TVB’s new drama, 4 In Love in Hong Kong with her costar, Moses Chan. Charmaine also confirmed that she has signed up with a mainland management company but when the $15 million Yuan contract fee was brought up, Charmaine swore to secrecy with a smile and said, “This must be kept a secret okay!”

About her career advancement into the Mainland industry, Charmaine expressed her excitement, “I arrived in mainland this year and realized that it was really different here as compared to Hong Kong. I feel like I have found a new direction.”
Charmaine also revealed her desire to work with acclaimed film director, Zhang Yimou, “I feel that Director Zhang Yimou is a director who knows women’s heart the best.”
This September, Charmaine will also be accepting the television version of If You Are the One and will be playing the lead role of “Xiaoxiao”, which was originally played by Shu Qi (舒淇) in the movie. Charmaine added that she had already watched the original movie version and loved this role, “Initially, we had plans to film earlier this year but because the location at Japan had some problems that cropped up, other locations will probably be used instead. Definitely something worth looking forward to.” With regards to the high filming income in Mainland, Charmaine let out a satisfied smile, “Well, it is really a lot more than back in Hong Kong.”

If Only Cared About Money, Would Have Been Married Earlier

Although Can’t Buy Me Love was a comedy set in the ancient times, its English title meant that money can’t buy one’s love. In connection, nowadays, many females pick their future respective partners firstly based on their financial conditions. In reply to this, Charmaine expressed her empathy, “Everyone’s situation is different and everyone have different requirements or needs. However, I do not believe that money is able to buy love. If that was the case, I would have been married a long time ago.”

In TVB, Charmaine Sheh has had her fair share of male rumored contenders from Julian Cheng (张智霖), Benny Chan (陈浩民), Kevin Cheng (郑嘉颖) to Ron Ng (吴卓羲) and others. Earlier on, there were even rumors that she fell in love with a Mainland property mogul who was younger than her. Charmaine smiled and professed that she was still single, “For the time being, I will be focusing entirely on my career. Wouldn’t be in a relationship for a year or so. Even so, there must be an excellent combination of timing, the right person, circumstances and background that can move me before I will accept the declaration of love.”

The only love that Charmaine ever admitted to was with ex lover Benny Chan (陈浩民) and even Benny himself had just gotten married. Charmaine expressed that she had already sent him a congratulatory text message. Charmaine who was 36 years old this year, was considered to be a “golden bachelorette left on the market.” Asked about this tagging, Charmaine laughed and said, “It is most important to be happy. Whether I’m left on the market or not, I will continue to be young at heart.”
Moses Chan Stammered When Asked About Marriage

With “Princess Zhaoyang” aka Charmaine Sheh marrying into the mainland market, “Prince” Moses Chan, who was still a TVB artist, did not bother to disguise his envy, “Ah Sheh earns much more in the Mainland as compared to us; I’m very envious!” However, Moses who had recently replaced Bowie Lam (林保怡) and was his “Number 1 TV Brother” successor, had no opportunity to break into the mainland market for a career advancement as of yet.

Early this year, Moses walked out of the shadows of his breakup with Bernice Liu (廖碧儿) and quickly fell for former Miss Hong Kong, Aimee Chan (陈茵薇). There were even rumors that the pair of lovebirds will get married in a flash.

Yesterday, when asked whether wedding bells will be ringing soon, Moses Chan was thoroughly embarrassed such that his entire face was flushed red. After holding his silence for half a day, Moses finally cracked a joke and laughed, “A good matter? Our coming here to promote our new drama is a good matter!” It was known that Charmaine, who was beside the latter, impersonated Moses to tease him, “Too official!”

After constant pressure and relentless questioning from the reporters, Moses finally shyly revealed that the relationship was going smoothly but did not forget to evade the issue, “When will we get married? Just leave it to fate and for God to arrange.”

Wayne Lai To Star in “Rosy Business 3″; Scriptwriter Cheung Wah Biu Returns to TVB

Saturday, August 06, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) won two TVB Best Actor awards from starring in Rosy Business "巾幗梟雄" and No Regrets "義海豪情". Credit must be attributed to scriptwriter, Cheung Wah Biu (張華標), who fleshed out Wayne’s characters fully. It was understood that Cheung Wah Biu will return to TVB in October 2011 and will partner with Lee Tim Sing (李添勝) on new series, Rosy Business 3 "巾幗梟雄 3"! Upon learning of the “Iron Triangle” collaboration, Wayne was extremely happy. Perhaps he may even win a third Best Actor award!

In his May birthday celebration, Wayne made a wish that scriptwriter, Cheung Wah Biu would return to TVB. Producer Lee Tim Sing confirmed that Mr. Cheung will make a comeback after a 14-month departure, while resuming his role as Assistant Creative Director.

Rosy Business 3 To Film in April 2012

Tim Gor said that it would be difficult for Rosy Business 3 to have continuity from Rosy Business and No Regrets. “Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) and Wayne Lai’s characters already died and we can no longer continue their characters. Perhaps there are some elements of continuity in the story, such as setting the time line in the 1960s or pre-modern period. The story will be independent from the earlier series.

“I have set the filming period with Wayne, which will occur in April 2012.” (What about Sheren?) “She is currently busy filming in mainland. I have to discuss the matter with her. Hopefully, she will have time!”

Currently working for a television studio in Taiwan, Cheung Wah Biu indicated that he did not adjust to living there. His wife was upset [and wanted him to return to Hong Kong]. “I did not finish my current work projects yet. It has not been settled yet. During the summer, my wife came to visit me in Taiwan. I have been in frequent contact with Tim Gor and Wayne Lai!”

Wayne was extremely happy about Mr. Cheung’s return. Wayne noted, “I heard that Cheung Wah Biu will return to TVB. My dream came true!” (Are you filming Rosy Business 3?) “Tim Gor mentioned this to me. By the time the new series is released, it would be two years since No Regrets. The audience should have a fresh feeling.” (Do you feel pressure?) “I am not worried. They have fought in many ‘wars’ before. I believe there will be new material for the audience to watch!” Unfortunately, Sheren Tang did not respond to the reporter’s inquiry at the time of the news publication.

Charmaine Sheh face darkens, limelight stolen by Fala Chen

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Charmaine Sheh, Fala Chen, Moses Chan, Raymond Wong and Susanna Kwan were in Hangzhou promoting for TVB series Can't Buy Me Love. Usually when promoting in HK Fala dresses conservatively, but this time in Mainland, she appears in a low-cut dress and reveals her career line. The Mainland media reported Fala 'killing power causes strong injuries' to lead actress Charmaine, who just showed her legs. Fala completely stole her limelight. It was 'maid bigger than the master lady' (referring to Fala and Charmaine roles in the series). At the event, Charmaine maintained her smile all along when other artistes were speaking, except when it was Fala's turn, she lost interest and her face darkens. Instead, she often chatted with Susanna.

Fala was asked if its because Charmaine's contract expired that she's taking the advantage to sit in the Big Sister seat? Fala looked at Charmaine as she said: "I don't dare to, don't dare to!" Fala also expressed that this is her first time heading over to Mainland as a group for promotion and that her outfit was arranged by her company. Charmaine was asked if her Big Sister status is hard to keep now that she left TVB? She said she never left the company, just changed the contract and she also never thought of herself as a Big Sister, just getting into character and trying her best in acting out the role.

Soon to start concentrating her work in Mainland, Charmaine reveals she'll be taking part in the series version of If You are the One, playing the role XiaoXiao. She will also be going to Japan for outdoor shooting of the series. Charmaine expressed she wants to work with director Yimou Zhang the most because she feels he really understands what women think and does well with women oriented dramas. When asked if she's signing a 15 million Yuan two year contract? Charmaine said: "Confidential! The Mainland paycheck is indeed slightly higher." Moses, sitting besides her, smiled and said he envies. About the rumors that Charmaine has a wealthy Mainland boyfriend, she expressed if she wanted to marry, she would have long ago.

When speaking of ex-boyfriend Benny Chan got married recently, Charmaine does not envy: "Just signed with a Mainland company, so will concentrate on work first. In the next year, I won't consider relationships! Even if I do, there must be a time, place and person that can move me in order for me to accept the love confession."

As for Moses Chan, he is actively pursuing Aimee Chan. Asked if the 'good occasion' is (marriage) coming near? Moses ears turned red and paused for a moment before he said: "Good occasion? Today we are all here to promote for the series, that is the good occasion!"

Stephanie Cheng curses at TVB reporter, love opponent Gillian Chung implies she has low EQ

Posted by Admin 0 comments
[Apple Daily 08/03/2011] Lately Stephanie Cheng has been surrounded by gossips, not only is she rumored to have been frozen by her record company, but also was 'shut out' by TVB because she cursed at one of their reporters. It was said that the TVB Entertainment News Team were interviewing her earlier and when Stephanie was asked about her family matters, she suddenly cursed at the TVB reporter: "X your mother!" TVB was immediately angered by her behavior and decided to shut her out. TVB Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming) admitted that there was such incident, and criticized she was disrespectful. Mr Tsang said: "The incident happened a few months ago, TVB reporter interviewed Stephanie and after the interview, it was as you said, she turned around and cursed at my colleague. At the time, the reporter, the photographer, the director and myself were clueless and did not understand why she was acting like that because the entire interview went smoothly. The questions just gossiped a little about her family, nothing offending to her. I don't understand why she was so impolite and reacted that way. Everyone at the scene saw what she did, and it shouldn't be a misunderstanding."

Mr. Tsang continues: "Later, the director reported to TVB because [he/she] felt Stephanie was being disrespectful, so her interview was not put on air. Her record company also felt the same, that she treated us impolitely, which greatly affects our future collaborations. The record company said it was purely her personal behavior, and is not related to the company. For the meantime, she will not be interviewed at all. As a public figure, she should not take out her unhappiness or anger on us, not necessary to curse at us."

Late last year, it was rumored Gillian Chung 'stole' her music producer boyfriend (Ben Chong) and since then she started eating madly to vent out her anger, which resulted in her being out of shape. Her record company Neway Star (Star Entertainment Ltd) ordered her to lose weight and put all her work on hiatus. Later, news broke out that Stephanie was frozen by Star Entertainment because she declined to attend ex-lover Ben Chong's celebration party for joining the company.

[Mingpao 08/05/2011]

Fiona Sit: Stephanie wants to apologize

Yesterday Fiona Sit attended 903 ALL STAR Badminton Competition and responded to good friend Stephanie's disrespectful behavior. She said: "She is a person, by nature, freely expresses her feelings and emotions. When asked of her precious family, people who are close to her and her boyfriend, she doesn't want to answer. That day she was unhappy during the interview. Stephanie is already feeling regret and really wants to apologize."

Ah Gil implies love opponent Stephanie has low EQ

Yesterday Twins were in Guangzhou promoting for their Everyone Bounces Up Concert. Asked about Stephanie's cursing at TVB reporter incident, Gillian Chung (Ah Gil) said: "I have not been in HK lately, so not too sure." She expressed artists must have high EQ. Asked if she ever lost her patience before? Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) laughed: "When I can't tolerate anymore, I would pinch my thighs!" Ah Gil said: "I would pinch Ah Sa's thighs, find someone who has high EQ to pinch!" Ah Sa laughed: "My thighs are all scratched up!"

Also, Ah Sa will soon be participating in the Venice Film Festival representing her film The Sorcerer And The White Snake. She said: "I'm so nervous, I really want to bring Ah Gil and my boyfriend William Chan with me. But my boyfriend has work, and I can only go with my manager Mani Fok and mom. Later, I'll be rushing back to HK to rehearse for the company and then head over to Canada for work. In September, I'm 'Flying Ah Sa'!"

Natalie Tong: I am doing well, relax

Posted by Admin 0 comments
NEXT: Next Magazine | NATALIE: Natalie Tong

NEXT: Shirley Yeung once had a golden label, but now it's shattered, you are the only one left currently.

NATALIE: What does that mean?

NEXT: Two years ago when we interviewed Shirley, she was angered that there was contempt on her boyfriend. Time changes everything. What I mean is, it is truly difficult to maintain a relationship, especially someone who had an affair that still has countless soldiers waiting.

NATALIE: Whether you believe it or not, Amigo and I really are separated. I enjoy my current single life. Aiya, I really don't know when I can detach myself from his name.

Amigo Chui

NEXT: What type of relationship do you have with Amigo Chui?

NATALIE: According to my personality, generally speaking, there is no way I can be friends with an ex. He is the only exception because we have been together for too long. We experienced life's most difficult and unhappy times together. In my heart, he is not just simply a boyfriend, but is part of my family, so much that he's like my guardian. I am not an expert in communicating with people, some people think I'm autistic. He is the one who told me, that I cannot go on like that. It is him that taught me how to handle situations. It is him that made me understand the mistake I made. It is him that allowed me become an adult. The public does not understand our relationship, only I do.

NEXT: What is so great about Amigo?

NATALIE: I am too quiet, so I hope my boyfriend is an out-going person. Amigo's strength is good speaking skills, he is a sweet talker and can easily make people happy.

NEXT: No hatred?

NATALIE: When I found out he had an affair, I did hate him before. I used a long period of time to reconcile. My mother's passing was the most difficult for me. It is not that I didn't hate before, but when you experience a parent passing away, you will realize that the pain love brought is not all that significant anymore. What's the big deal? Or is it when two people separate, then a person won't have to face themselves again? Relationships is elapsed. Will we start again? That is another story.

NEXT: With Amigo around, did this scared away many people?

NATALIE: I truly believe in fate. If you really had the heart to come get to know me, whatever I have by my side, you will still stay and you won't just leave so easily. If you truly love me, then you will definitely stay.

NEXT: You say it so free and easy, how about Amigo?

NATALIE: Honestly, there was a time in the past that we were a couple, so I must get an understanding of his views. There are many things that does not have be said and we already know.

NEXT: Seeing your situation now, is it a difficult time or are you nonchalant?

NATALIE: In the past whatever troubles I encounter, I would hope there be someone to help me. Now that I'm grown, I realize that for outcomes, you must rely on yourself on everything, you must help yourself. His path, of course he should move forward. Add oil.

Mother

NEXT: Your mother's passing was a huge impact on you?

NATALIE: She grew up in a large family in Fuzhou, and lived a good life. She is pretty too. Once she married to Hong Kong, her environment turned really bad. She wanted her children to live a better life or perhaps that was her personal need. My father opened a factory in China, my mom works as an insurance agent. My parents were often in a dispute over economic issues, and life was greatly pressuring. Finally, my mom moved out, and maybe only comes back once a week to see me. My father comes back once a month from China to see me. My 5 year older brother and I lived a life relying on each other. While growing up, what we needed most was our parents by our side to be our role models, but we did not have that at all. When I graduated from high school, I already lived on my own. My mom and I never really got along well. Until she was sick, we got closer. The heavens have it's own arrangements, very strange, before I was always in a relationship, but only that time I was single. I had time to drive her to the hospital every day. Thinking back, it feels like that was the happiest time of my life. We are very strange, we clearly love the person, but forever we will not cherish. My mom used to be a person who holds a grudge more than she remembers the kind acts of people. She did not live a happy life, so I feel we should not complain too much in life. Forgiving a person is in fact far less difficult than imagined.

NEXT: Since it's less being together and more leaving, then why are you so deep in relationships?

NATALIE: Since youth to when I'm grown, my mom always thought I was a pretty girl. She's praises me day and night, and took me to audition for 430 Space Shuttle, so I can be a child star. She also encouraged me to go participate in Miss Hong Kong. I feel that's her dream, it is me who took the dream and put it on myself. So, when I was in elementary school, I wrote my aspiration was to be a model. Up until when I really started shooting ads, I was really excited. She was even happier than me. I lacked self-confidence because I wasn't like what she imagined me to be. I rebelled before, you wanted me to stand on stage, I insisted on being autistic. Eventually, I entered the industry mostly because I wanted to make my mom happy.

NEXT: Charlene Choi and Shawn Yue who were shooting Y2K with you are already soaring in their careers.

NATALIE: They developed well because they had a goal. I didn't. So watching them, I didn't even lose one bit. After Y2K, I went back to being a model, but I wasn't tall enough to do catwalks. Shooting commercials, there was a lack of a refreshing feel. Then I was arranged to audition for Heart of Fencing. From Y2K to Heart of Fencing, I had absolutely no improvement. At the time, Twins were already popular. I had no sense of crisis. While growing up, I never had anyone to teach me how to plan. During the Form 5 exam, I was sleeping and no one corrected me. Now, my career seems to be getting better. This is when I started not wanting to lose because it turns out that accomplishments in other areas basically do not make feel this practical.

NEXT: Already 30 and you just had a flash of realization now, you wasted a lot of time.

NATALIE: I remember clearly when I just entered TVB, hosting for K-100. I resisted a little at the time. A year later, I unexpectedly improved my pronunciations, ability to memorize scripts, and the sensitivity of facing cameras. In the TV station, everything relied on accumulation. There was a period of time that I really was lost and confused. All the time I was just playing a filial girl, even I started to doubt myself, if I could control other type of roles. It is Tim Gor (Lee Tim Shing) that woke me up. When we were shooting A Fistful of Stances, he told me I should just be happy when I'm happy, sad when I'm sad. It doesn't sound like any big principle, but that got me straight. It is the first time, I seriously got into the character. In fact, being a person is very simple, it is us that are making it complicated.

Didn't Cry it Out

When speaking of Amigo, Natalie was cheerful, but when speaking of rumored boyfriend Stephen Wong, she started laughing. NATALIE: "Haha, I don't even understand why everyone is saying Stephen is pursuing me. I don't feel it at all."

(Caption: Shawn Yue on the far left, was once Natalie's boyfriend: "He is not considered out-going, so you understand why we broke up.)

Does she believe it?

NATALIE: I'm not a dishonest bad guy, I put myself in other people's shoes. Towards other people's vows I have always been skeptical, especially those I personally witnessed to have too many lies. Clearly saying they are good brothers or good sisters, but in reality they are just third or fourth parties. How can you be so naive and believe that everyone ate a honest 'sweetened bean paste bun'?

Telling lies, to many people is a habit that cannot be controlled. So, between Natalie and Amigo, is there really just friendship? NATALIE explains with the statement: "If you haven't experienced a parent's death, then you won't understand."

When speaking of her mother, the atmosphere was completely different. Natalie was seen with tears in her eyes, looking as if she's about to cry, but trying hard to hold it in. She didn't let the sobs out, that is in fact more frightening than ever. Getting cheated by a lover, a difficult period, but she can still treat herself. How can that grief be deeper than losing a loved one?

NATALIE: So, for those who I lied to before, life is short, can you do something kind and forgive me?

First Look at Bosco Wong and Kate Tsui’s Bed Scenes in “Lives of Omission”

Friday, August 05, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Following The Other Truth "真相", TVB aired new series, Lives of Omission "潛行狙擊" on Monday, August 1st in Hong Kong. Although the ratings for its first week of broadcast were unavailable yet, the series appeared compelling from the trailer clips.

With mafia wars serving as the backdrop for Lives of Omission, explosive action scenes were expected. The hottest scenes may actually be the love scenes between gangster, Bosco Wong (黄宗澤), and his childhood friend, Kate Tsui (徐子珊). In one scene, Kate’s face appeared contorted in passion in their love scenes. Bosco and Kate started kissing on the living room sofa. Kate shifted her thighs and Bosco kissed her fiercely. The scene was extremely passionate! Perhaps this may have been the reason why Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) had to mark boyfriend, Bosco, carefully in case he yielded to Kate’s passion!

In another daring scene, Michael Tse’s (謝天華) superior in the police department, Fala Chen (陳法拉), was almost raped by a group of triad members. Fala’s jeans were removed by the gangsters. Fortunately, Michael arrived on the scene and saved her.

Michael Tse:”I Have Good Chemistry With Bosco Wong!”

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Michael Tse (謝天華) experienced great popularity from his “Laughing Gor” character in TVB series, E.U. "學警狙擊" In the currently aired Lives of Omission "潛行狙擊", Laughing Gor was the only returning character in the sequel. The other characters and story from E.U. were omitted. Asked whether the change in casting impacted his performance, Michael said no and found the new partnerships refreshing.

Michael Tse and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) shared numerous scenes together in Lives of Omission. Regarding their onscreen time, Michael said, “You can not use a ruler to measure the amount of screen time. Although it was my first time collaborating with Bosco, we surprisingly got along well together. Before getting into position for filming, we will discuss how to film the scenes and how to achieve a more ‘chok’ effect. Sharing our ideas, we immediately understand each other. It is very difficult to find such an onscreen partner!”

Discussing Male Topics Together

During filming breaks, Michael and Bosco will chat about various topics. Michael laughed, “There is not a large gap between our ages. When we are together, we will talk about cars and male topics.” (What did Michael think of younger actor, Bosco?) “Each actor needs to improve. I have to as well. It is a growth process for everyone.”

Did Not Feel Pressure

TVB will soon start shooting a new Laughing Gor movie. Asked whether Michael faced greater pressure each time, he said he did not feel anxious. “I am simple. I will focus only on doing my part well. This already enjoyable and makes me happy.”

Normally the series’ ratings fell upon the shoulders of the lead actor. However, Michael stated, “This is a view from the past. Now the audience is smarter and can differentiate.”

Cops and robbers battle begins in Overheard 2

Posted by Admin 0 comments
With OVERHEARD 2 (SIT TING FUNG WON 2) a storm is brewing on August 18. After the rash of rave reviews last time, the trio of good actors Lau Ching Wan, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) and Louis Koo Tin Lok reunited but the spark has grown instead of ceased. With many veteran actors like Wu Fung, Kenneth Tsang Kong, Kent Cheng Juk Si and others, the new film had even more suspense and tension!

In this all new story Ching Wan played a financial wizard, which he stated was the most fun and the most valuable since it was not an extension of the previous film but talked about the flaws of society today. Ching Wan said, "This time the stock market is the background. Now everyone is looking at the stock market everyday, at the same time many people around you give you opinions. However actually maybe they all have some background motives. If something is truly that accurate, everyone would already be rich!" Ching Wan said that he rarely invested, his wife did more. Would he rather rely on hard work to make money? Ching Wan joked that he only wanted to do fun things that could make money at the same time, like how he liked acting.

OVERHEARD 2 not only had them but also added the likes of Tsang Kong, Wu Fung and others to make the film more intense. However among the trio only Goo Jai has not worked with them. At first he joked that he did not have to worry about them stealing his scenes, but actually privately he and the elders had a lot to talk about. Sometimes he would deliberately go to work earlier or leave work later for the chance to chat with them. Ching Wan also thought that he has returned to his youth because they watched him grow up. They still were very energetic. Ching Wan admired their lifestyle very much. Ng Yin Cho agreed, "I always look forward to working with them. I remember I used to watch them play cool mobsters. I never guessed that years later, I would have a scene in which I would bully them. The scene really required their cooperation to be successful. I am very happy to be able to work with them because they would always talk about the past. I feel like I am absorbing film history."

Ng Yin Cho also has a drastic change for OVERHEARD 2. Because he played a soldier, he revealed he had to gain 25 pounds in three months. Everyday he had five to six meals, which almost drove him mad. Even his wife was afraid that he went nuts. Later he was somewhat afraid of seeing food and did not want to eat anything anymore. Was he worried that he could not slim down? Ng Yin Cho said, "I was. I really wanted to lose the weight. Now I can't wear several pairs of pants. However later I have to work on another film that I have to get bigger for." Ng Yin Cho received many compliments for this look. Tsang Kong who has worked with him before praised that he even has become more of a man. Ching Wan also praised him as very special because few actors would make such a big change for a film, not to mention this look suited him well. However Goo Jai was somewhat conflicted because they had many action scenes together. In a narrow alley fight, he accidentally rammed Goo Jai's fist into the wall, which sliced off flesh and bled profusely.

In addition, when asked whether he had any box office pressure, Goo Jai felt very confident because this story was a real conflict that separated cops and crooks. Would he like to win an award again with this film? Ching Wan said that he did not think much about that. If it was to happen it naturally would. He also believed that the three of them would have a chance to work together again, because he always thought certain people with another type of people would naturally create chemical reactions. Also he would like to have more authenticate Hong Kong films like OVERHEARD 2, which would increase the competition in the film market.
