"Chinese Gold Melody Award 2010" was held last night in Guangzhou with nearly 100 award categories presented to Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan singers. Singers who attended included Eason Chan, Kay Tse, David Lui, Mr., Joyce Cheng, Prince and many more. Eason Chan sleepless to prepare taking her daughter to school

Louis Koo gets leg surgery will take a break for a year

Niki Chow celebrates 31st birthday showing off her feminism

Yesterday was Niki Chow's 31st birthday. Many of her entertainment circle friends especially went to a hotel to celebrate with her. Her older sister Kathy Chow, Natalie Tong, Anita Mui's old manager (Marianne) attended the party. Niki dressed very nicely, wearing a black sleeveless shirt and flashy accessories and painted bright red nail polish to match. She appeared very feminine.

TVB received complaints for broadcasting tragedy

In regards to the Manila bus hijack incident which happened last week, although TV station's live broadcast news has received high ratings, average of 31 points, peaked at 38 points, close to 250,0000 audiences, the live broadcast of the tragedy also received complaints. TVB received 14 complaints while Broadcasting Authority received 8 complaints. They said that the contents of the videos have caused discomfort and making them feel hurt so on.

Although TVB's comedy series (Can't Buy Me Love) has been highly rated, average of 33 points, more than 200,0000 audiences, Broadcasting Authority also received 4 complaints, pointed that the series was arranged to air at the wrong period of time due to the tragedy. TVB received 8 complaints saying that Moses Chan and Charmaine Sheh's acting looked fake.

Twins recalls old memories of lip syncing

Alan tam, hacken Lee and Twins arrived at Macau the night before a concert. "Solar Project 2010 Southern Music Concert" was held yesterday. All participating singers and audience wore a yellow ribbon on their left wrist in respect of the Manila tour bus hostages victims and their families.

When the singers sang A Little Candle, everyone raised their left hands with the yellow ribbon, it was a very moving atmosphere. Charmaine Sheh claims to have to "princess disease"

The casts including Charmaine Sheh and Moses Chan for Can't Buy Me Love were at Olympian City yesterday to promote their series. They went all way out to play games with the audiences, hoped to convey the message of love through the event and bring more energy to Hong Kong people.

In the series, Charmaine plays the role of a mischievous princess. She was asked if she was just portraying her real self? Charmaine said, "It's acting, I don't have "princess disease"!" (Afraid of audience's resistance?) "I won't, actors have to try in different areas, giving fresh feeling to audiences is a good thing." Moses also praised that Charmaine acted very well : "Mischievous princess is not easy to be accepted, but she handled it well." (Does the person by your side has "princess disease"?) "Thankfully I haven't met one."

Nick Cheung Crowns 'Best Actor' The 7th Time

"The 10th Changchun Film Festival" was held last night in Changchun. Nick Cheung won "Best Actor" again with movie "The Beast Stalker." This award is shared between him and Wang Xueqi, who won with "The Assassins and Bodyguards." Kara Hui and Vicki Zhao both won "Best Actress" with movies "At the End of Daybreak" and "Mulan". "The Founding of a Republic" won "Best Chinese Story Film." Sandra Ng won "Best Supporting Actress" with movie "Echoes of Rainbow."

Nick expressed in his speech that "The Beast Stalker" let him won many awards and this is his first time winning in Mainland, which is pretty meaningful. Nick received 7 "Best Actor" award from Golden Horse, HK Film Awards, Asian Film Festival, Film Critics Society, Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, Chinese Film Awards, and last night's Changchun Film Festival.

"At the End of Daybreak" let Kara snapped 3 "Best Actress" awards and 2 "Best Supporting Actress" awards. Yesterday Kara specially went to Changchun to attend to this award ceremony. It was also her first time winning this award in Mainland.

It was the blessing and opening ceremonies of "The King of 10 Thousand Phoenixes" (萬鳳之王) on Monday (August 23). "10 Thousand Phoenixes" means many actresses. One of the leads is known for difficult to get along with---Jessica Hsuan. But at the filming studio, she got along well with another female lead Myolie Wu. A TVB reporter planned to interview Jessica and coincidentally, Jessica's hair accessory dropped to the floor. Myoli picked it up for Jessica immediately and the two also chat for a while. It seemed they're friendly towards each other
