Stephy Tang Wants to Find A Family Man

Posted by Admin 0 comments
26-years-old Stephy Tang is still single. She expressed her social circle became narrow once she stepped into the showbiz, and she's not aware any pursuer around her. She said: "It has been a long time since there is one. I went out less after becoming an artiste. It's always the same people I hang out with. (Aren't you worried?) I ain't worried, when the right time comes, if still no result then I will go out more often."

Stephy hopes to get married and have kids at 30 and her partner has to share the same ideas with her, so they can create a happy family together: "I grew up in a single parent family. I wasn't confident in marriage when I was little and it affected my want to get married. But as people grew up, their thoughts would change. I hope I can have a happy family to fill things I lost when I was little."

Stephy, who likes children, is confident that she would be a good mother: "It's more ideal to have 2 children, 1 boy 1 girl." But she won't consider being a full-time mom because professional women now are able to take care of their career and family at the same time. Talking about qualities of her ideal partner, Stephy is targeting "family men:" "He has to be like me, who likes families, to yield a happy relationship. I had a boyfriend before and he didn't even think about the future. How could I feel secured with that? How could we continue?"

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Raymond Cho has slapping scenes in series "Fly With Me" and he vented his anger slapping others: "Every slap was real. Viewers watched 5 slaps, but in fact there were more than 20 slaps. Fortunately after I turned evil I slapped many people, too. I felt better." But he joked he doesn't mind being slapped by Ada Choi: "Doesn't mind being slapped by Ada, she kissed me so many times. That period she really did kiss me more than she kisses her husband."

Although "FWM" was accused of copying other works, Raymond said if those elements are good, shouldn't be afraid to be borrowed, and he expressed he's confident in ratings: "The series has so many elements, it's not just copying. At first I was a little disappointed at ratings, but I'm confident. For some series, you just have to wait. We still have about 10-ish episodes, hasn't reach the climax yet." Now hosting children programs, Raymond has no intention to have another baby: "Won't go for another one, one child is already stressful, when I have time I need to focus on my son."

Wong Hei Regards Steven Ma and Patrick Tang as “Traitors”

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Since the outbreak of corruption allegations against TVB General Manager, Stephen Chan Chi Wan, many artists, such as Steven Ma Chun Wai and Patrick Tang who were once favored by Mr. Chan have distanced themselves to avoid legal entanglement and TVB’s spite.

Allegedly due to his ties to Mr. Chan, Steven Ma filmed three TVB series in 2009 and even took on a hosting role. Recent tabloids claimed that Steven was involved in a homosexual love triangle with Mr. Chan. To dispel tabloid rumors, Steven publicly introduced his girlfriend to reporters and said that his relationship was “very strong.” In essence, Steven was attempting to remove his name from Mr. Chan’s scandal. Allegedly, Wong Hei regards Steven poorly and criticized his behavior.

Patrick TangIn reaction to the media’s negative assessment of his recent behavior, Steven posted a swift commentary in his blog, “I am not a person who is afraid [to stand up]. I will not sit back quietly due to fear of losing fame or fortune.” Steven explained that he was not feeling well earlier, thus his girlfriend made the public appearance with him. He expressed his sadness over the public’s perception and urged people not to misinterpret his actions.

Patrick Tang, who once referred to Mr. Chan as his “Honey” due to their close friendship, has only sent SMS text messages to his former benefactor. In his personal blog, Patrick did not mention a word about Mr. Chan’s scandal. Patrick posted a close-up photo of his tears to convey his “saddened state” over the situation. He urged his fans to not forget about his past hard work, thus drawing a clear line between himself and Mr. Chan.

The Origins of Wong Hei and Mr. Chan’s Friendship

Since the ICAC detained Mr. Chan on March 12th, Wong Hei has stood by Mr. Chan to show his support. Wong Hei noted that he can not abandon Mr. Chan, who has helped him in the past. When Wong Hei joined Commercial Radio Broadcasting in 1992, he became friendly with Mr. Chan, who was also a fellow Buddhist at the time. Although Mr. Chan converted to Catholicism in later years, the pair remained good friends and continued to meet once per week.

Wong Hei followed Mr. Chan’s footsteps and joined TVB in the early 1990s. Mr. Chan backed up Wong Hei in his early TVB career. In 2006, Wong Hei climbed Mount Everest and Mr. Chan was present at the press conference to show his support. In 2008, allegedly Wong Hei and Kevin Cheng Ka Wing did not get along together on the set of “Burning Flame 3” (烈火雄心3). Since Kevin was heavily favored by TVB executive, Virginia Lok Yi Ling, Wong Hei got into conflict with Ms. Lok as well. Wong Hei announced his departure from TVB, but Mr. Chan invited him to come back. Due to their past camaraderie, Wong Hei has continued to show support for Mr. Chan amidst the corruption scandal.

Wong Hei Criticizes TVB’s Mona Fong

In Wong Hei’s personal blog, he wrote a recent entry about TVB’s “bad feng shui.” Hidden behind obscure feng shui verbose, the paparazzi believed Wong Hei was attacking TVB in an indirect way. Allegedly, Wong Hei implied that since TVB was led by a woman (Sir Run Run Shaw’s wife, Mona Fong) , the company made poor decisions, entangled itself in the corruption, and will be headed towards its demise. [Wong Hei alluded that Ms. Fong made emotional and judgmental decisions in Mr. Chan’s case.] Boldly, he implied that if TVB were run by a man, this would not have occurred.

Good Friends Stand By Each Other

After Mr. Chan held a press conference on March 18th, Wong Hei brought a Public Relations executive and Metro Radio executive to Mr. Chan’s house to show their support. That night, Wong Hei wore a T-shirt with the slogan, “More Respect, Less Attack.”

Wong Hei has taken on the role of Mr. Chan’s “spokesperson” in dealing with the paparazzi. At a Hong Kong University event on March 19th, Mr. Chan was a featured speaker. Wong Hei arrived early on site to make all the preparations and did not leave with Mr. Chan until 5 PM. When departing, Wong Hei walked in front of Mr. Chan to fend off the crowds.

Even Mr. Chan’s rumored boyfriend, Ed Cong, went into hiding for nine days since the corruption investigation started. Ed only responded to text messages from several reporter acquaintances. On March 21st, Ed finally emerged from the site of one of his public relations firms. When Ed realized he was followed by reporters, he ran several traffic lights before returning to his apartment in Stanley. Ed’s apartment was rumored to be a gift purchased by Mr. Chan.

Amigo Chui, who is one of Mr. Chan’s favorite TVB artists, visited Mr. Chan on March 16th. Amigo went to Mr. Chan’s apartment at 9 PM and stayed until midnight. Since the scandal broke, Leo Ku Gui Kei has also met with Mr. Chan on two occasions.

Koo Mei Wah as Steven Ma’s Special Guest in Apprentice Chef

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Josephine Koo Mei Wah Agreed to be Steven Ma’s Special Guest

Josephine Koo Mei Wah keeps a low profile these days and rarely makes public appearances, but surprisingly she accepted Steven Ma’s invitation to be his special guest in Apprentice Chef that will air tonight. When asked why she gives such ‘face’ to Steven, she laughingly says: “Because I’ve known Wai Zai for a long time lo! He is very “guai” (well-behaved, 佢好乖!) ”. Actually, prior to this meeting, Steven was not acquainted with Ms. Koo at all. In fact, he had his invitation conveyed to Ms. Koo by a friend on his behalf, and was stunned when she actually accepted.

“Haha!” At seeing Steven’s face flushed with consternation, Ms. Koo was all the more amused. Only later did she deign to divulge this little secret: “Actually I didn’t know Steven before this, a friend of my daughter does. And through her, I got to know the real him. I had a good impression of him.” Actually, the outwardly aloof Ms. Koo is really very playful in private. She jests that she and Steven look a bit alike, and that they can collaborate in either a tvb series or a movie. “Our faces have a similar genetic looks so we can act as siblings, maybe twins…”

Steven was not confident at first that Ms. Koo would accept his invitation. “At my first sight of her, I thought she is a very elegant Chinese lady. And with her short hairdo, looks trendy. She looks a bit like my mom at a younger age (his mom). The funny thing is that she asked me to address her as “Auntie” because that’s what my friend calls her.”

In Steven’s eyes, Miss Koo is both refined and calm. But he did not expect her to be so humorous in private, “She is actually a deadpan comedian; she is so very funny with her words. It would be so awesome if I have an opportunity to collaborate with her. ”

Koo Mei Wah is a movie actress. In 1985 she won Best New Performer Award for her debut role in Homecoming at the Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2004 Koo was awarded the Best Actress Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival for her role in Shanghai Story.

Moses Chan Is Disappointed At The Revised Balloon Sitting Game

Thursday, May 06, 2010 Posted by Admin 0 comments
"Fly With Me" actors Ada Choi, Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, Queenie Chu, and Raymond Cho, etc. went to film new episode of "Super Trio Game Master." The controversial balloon sitting game was revised to male and male, female to female. Ada expressed to be happy: "We can play it with less worry." But Moses felt disappointed: "Besides same sex repels, it's easy to get hurt. If there's a chance to get hurt, of course it's better to play with females. Now it's male to male, I'm disappointed."

Ada wore two shirts and pants to prevent exposing. Last time during promotion, she hurt her nose accidentally, would she be more careful this time playing games? Ada said: "It's worthy even if I got hurt, because there are prizes, and they give away cars too!" Said she's greedy, Ada joked: "I have a car on my own, but it would be lucky if the car is given by others, I would be happier too." Talked about the game where females have to explode balloons with their chests, Ada joked she's not worried about her chest: "I'm confident in myself, in contrast I'm worried about my back. I have to give birth in the future, but as a superwoman, of course I see difficult movement as nothing!"

In the balloon sitting part, Raymond's bottom area accidentally hit King Kong's elbow. Fortunately he didn't get hurt, and he joked: "Bottom part got hit, but didn't hurt the real thing. I have a child already, now there is only one use." Asked would he try it later when he got home, he said: "It would be too late when I got home, let me try to pee first!" He agreed with Moses that it would be more fun to play with opposite sex.

Queenie said she has been watching "Super Trio" series before entering the showbiz. Now she finally got to play and she said: "I took precaution already. It's not good to children if my pants fell off during the game."

Natalie Tong Ready To Get Married At Anytime

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Natalie Tong had many sad scenes in "A Fistful of Stances." Her acting received good response and she said happily: "When I'm out on the streets, many people called me 'Ah Aun' (her name in the series). I usually play sassy girls, didn't know viewers like tragic characters as well. It gave me a new direction in acting." Officially stepped in the showbiz in 2000 with "Youth@Y2k," this year it's her 10th year working on-screen. She said: "From being a model in the beginning to now filming dramas, it's quite a big change. Every step to where I'm now is memorable. I got to know many things and many new friends." She tried hosting and acting, now mainly acting, she's satisfied with her current stage: "I'm quite satisfied with my career, been in the showbiz for 10 years, I'm still spirited even today!"

Natalie has a youth appearance and it's okay to say she's in her early 20s, but in fact she's reaching a new age era [Natalie is 29 this year], however she isn't afraid: "Age is just a number, it's more important to keep your mood and emotions youthful. I think girls are better with an older age, they know how to understand and take care of others, that's attractive!" Although she filmed many TV series, but her romance rumors are more concerned by others, and that kind of frustrated her: "When you have rumors, they won't look at your work, of course won't be happy! But can't do a thing, I can only keep my private life in low-profile, won't announce anything when I start to date again." It's rumored earlier that she's going out with Wong Ka Lok, she laughed and said :"No need to ask, of course it's fake!" Currently single, she said at this stage she only wants to date with work: "Now I gained more opposite sex friends, but I'm concentrating in work, can't see who's around me. (Anyone pursuing you?) I would say no, want to take a break. Too many rumors in the past, don't come again!"

Although she decided not to announce her relationship in the future, but she said she would announce her marriage, and didn't rule out lightning marriage: "If I'm at the stage of marriage, then I would announce it. I'm the type of person who do things based on emotions, I would do things if I want to, maybe even lightning marriage!" Her relationship with Amigo Chui became past tense, asked is she willing to develop another relationship with a showbiz star, she expressed: "Actually it's hard to avoid, if you like someone, then you are. Most importantly, he has to be patient and maturer than I'm, can take care of me."

"AFOS" costar Kevin Cheng expressed: "Natalie has a big improvement in acting this year. Her character in 'AFOS' suits her, she did a good job. (Look upon her?) Of course I hope she will win 'Most Improved Female Artiste,' it's an encouragement to win an award."

Good friend Angela Tong said: "Natalie is well-behaved and very hardworking. Either I'm working with her or watching her perform, I feel she improved a lot. She's true to you in private life, her personality is like a little girl!"

Jessica Hsuan Portrays Villianess in “Sisters of Pearl”

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The entertaining value of a television series is usually attributed to the villain’s role. In recent years, TVB created several memorable villainess roles, such as Tavia Yeung Yi’s character in Beyond the Realm of Conscience "宮心計" and Michelle Yim Mai Shuet in Moonlight Resonance "溏心風暴之家好月圓".

Replacing Suspects in Love’s "搜下留情" time slot will be Sisters of Pearl "掌上明珠" For the first time in her 17-year acting career, Jessica Hsuan will be portraying a villainess. Sisters of Pearl also feature Bowie Lam, Kiki Sheung Tin Gnor, Michael Tao Dai Yu, Chan Mei Si, and Joyce Tang Lai Ming. Set in the 1960s, the story revolves around the three Chu sisters (played by Kiki, Jessica, and Mei Si) and their family pearl business. Due to the frequent bickering among the sisters over the family fortune, there will be many scenes with the female characters plotting against each other.

No Righteous Character in Sisters of Pearl

Jessica’s character will bear evil and greedy intentions, as she schemes to take over complete control of the Chu family’s pearl business. Jessica will have many scenes opposite Bowie and Michael as well.

Perhaps the most extreme villain will be Bowie, who will play Kiki’s husband. Initially, Bowie was loyal to the Chu family. However, after his father’s death due to unjust circumstances, his personality took a drastic turn and he became a sly schemer. Bowie manipulated Kiki and Jessica’s relationship, causing their sisterly ties to turn sour. He also became involved with Joyce Tang.

Michael Tao will play the Chu sisters’ cousin. His character appears to be cheerful, but he plots with outsiders to usurp the Chu family’s pearl business. Perhaps there is no righteous character in Sisters of Pearl.

A crew member on the set of Sisters of Pearl revealed that Jessica and Kiki did not get along during filming. They had sudden outbursts and disappeared during filming, making the Producer fearful of Kiki and Jessica. Allegedly, Jessica possessed diva habits and requested to nap for twenty minutes on the set [in between filming breaks]. This resulted in the other cast members waiting for her.

Allegedly, when the filming location for one of the outdoor scenes was changed last minute, Kiki was enraged and yelled at other people. Jessica and Kiki maintained their distance from each other outside of their shared scenes.

TVB does not respond to rumors of Stephen Chan joining Taiwan TV station

Posted by Admin 0 comments
When Stephen Chan was arrested by the ICAC back on 3/11 on accusations of corruption, TVB immediately suspended all his General Manager responsibilities. Though Chan and the others arrested have since been released on bail, there are no plans in the immediate future for them to resume their work responsibilities due to the ongoing investigation by the ICAC.

Yesterday, there were reports that at the end of last year (2009), Stephen Chan had already decided to leave TVB and join the TV station that Next Magazine owner Jimmy Lai had started in Taiwan – in addition, he was planning to ‘recruit’ many of the TVB behind-the-scenes crew (producers, scriptwriters, etc.) to work with him in Taiwan. However, since Chan is still contracted with TVB, plus the corruption case is still pending, he will not be able to work for other organizations anytime soon.

Mingpao’s reporters contacted Stephen Chan to confirm the rumors, however as of this report, there has not been any response. As for TVB’s spokesperson, External Affairs Manager Tsang Sing Ming, expressed that currently, Stephen Chan is still a TVB employee and the company will not respond further to the rumors.

Jacky Cheung wants to take his eldest daughter to visit Africa

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The event "Voices of Africa Charity Concert" put on by a Buddhist organization will take place on 6/6 at the Hong Kong Trade and Exhibition Center (HITEC) – a press conference was held yesterday officially announcing the event and was attended by performers Jacky Cheung, Shirley Kwan, and Wong Kar Keung. Amigo Chui was also in attendance as host of the press conference.

During the press conference, members of a children’s performance group from Africa performed the song "Blessing" with Jacky Cheung. Also, Shirley Kwan presented a drawing of two snakes that was done by her son; she said: “Originally, my son was planning on giving the drawing to his grandfather, however I felt that the drawing had a special meaning: the 2 snakes represent ‘peace’ and ‘harmony’. My son understood this, so he agreed to donate the drawing.”

After reading the commentary on Africa put forth by the organization, Jacky was moved and said: “Before, whenever I would hear about the plight of the children in Africa, I would think about the words that Eric Tsang once said about there being ‘no hope’, however it is encouraging to see that the children themselves are actually filled with ‘hope’. In addition to donating money and doing the charity concert, I would also like to do charity work in Africa if the opportunity arises.” Asked if he would take his 2 daughters to visit Africa, Jacky responded: “If I do, I would only take my eldest daughter, who is currently 10 years old. In another year or two, she will be able to understand things better, so I would like her to go experience and realize how fortunate we are living here in Hong Kong. My wife also teaches our daughters to be satisfied with what they have, but not having seen or experienced it for themselves, they may not truly understand it.”

As for Wong Kar Keung, he and Amigo visited Africa back in March of this year. When he returned from the trip, Kar Keung wrote a song to summarize his feelings, entitled "Friends from Afar". Kar Keung expressed: “I’ve had the opportunity to go to other places such as Hunan, Cambodia, etc. for charity visits, however this is the first time for Amigo, so he humbly asked me to show him what he needed to do. I feel that Amigo has a good heart and is very sincere.” Asked if they talked about anything in particular on the trip, Kar Keung responded: “We only talked about things related to the charity work we were about to do. There was no need to mention anything about ‘that’ situation.” Kar Keung also indicated that whenever his son hears him play the piano or hears his songs, he would start dancing to the rhythm, so he believes his son will have musical talent in the future.

Amigo Chui: ready to accept whatever circumstances may arise

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Since his alleged assault on girlfriend Elizabete Kwong last year, all of Amigo Chui’s job responsibilities had been suspended and he had kept a relatively low profile -- until 4/26, when he returned to briefly host segments of the fundraising event "Artistes 414 Fundraising Campaign". Yesterday, Amigo took on the responsibility of hosting the press conference announcing the upcoming charity event "Voices for Africa Charity Concert". After the press conference, he publicly accepted an interview for the first time since the alleged assault incident.

Amigo said: “When I was hosting for the Fundraising show, I will admit that I was a bit nervous and shaky because I hadn’t worked in 4 to 5 months and all at once, had to face so many people. Today, the feeling is much better.” Regarding the rumors that Stephen Chan is planning to join a TV station in Taiwan, Amigo indicated that he was not aware: “We do get together a lot for dinner, but we only talk about personal stuff and never talk about work.” With Amigo having ‘zero job opportunities’ right now, is he worried about his financial situation? Amigo replied: “I have money saved up and not a whole lot of expenses, so it shouldn’t be a problem for now.”

Amigo expressed that his next court date is set for May 18th and at that time, the results should be determined. He says that after the situation is over, he will start his life anew. (Earlier, TVB fired several ‘Stephen Chan Party’ members – as his ‘favorite’, are you afraid of TVB firing you as well?) Amigo replied: “I’m ready to accept whatever circumstances that may arise; as of right now, I’m still a TVB employee and am still contracted with them.

Simon Yam caught smoking; daughter makes him stand in the corner

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Newly crowned HKFA Best Actor Simon Yam attended an event for S.T. Dupont leather company yesterday. He indicated that 30 years ago, he already started saving up money to buy the brand’s cigarette lighters: “At that time, I was already a collector of that brand’s lighters – even in that era, the lighters were over HKD$1000 a piece. The ones I have currently are in the safe deposit box. I like hearing the ‘ding’ sound of the lighter – it’s particularly refreshing after a tired day of filming.”

Earlier, a magazine published a picture of Simon smoking on the day of the HK Film Awards, wearing the same black suit he wore to the awards ceremony. After his daughter saw the picture, she made him go stand in the corner as punishment. Simon expressed: “My daughter really wants me to quit smoking because she understands how harmful and unhealthy it is. When she saw the picture, she made me go stand in the ‘naughty corner’ – not only did I have to stand there for 4 days straight, she also made me stand there wearing that same black outfit. I feel that her actions were very innocent and proper. I will definitely try my best to quit smoking.”

Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi- 17 Years Old

When Cecilia was seventeen years old, she returned to Hong Kong from Australia. She met Chu Wing Lun’s younger brother, Jason Chu Wing Tong (of the Young and Dangerous fame). After Cecilia and Jason broke up, she became involved in rumors with Jordan Chan Siu Chun, Daniel Chan Hiu Dong, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, etc. At this time, Chu boasted to his friends, “You have to know that I was Cecilia’s first man!”

Vanness Wu Jian Hao: 17 Years Old

After getting baptized recently, Vanness Wu vowed to abstain from sex until he got married. While filming intimate scenes, he would make a small prayer to God. Vivien Chow & Kevin Cheng personally cooks for their sponsored children

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Vivien Chow and Kevin Cheng visited the villages in northern Vietnam, Dien Bien on behalf of World Vision HK. They spent 4 days with the locals there and met up with their sponsored children. It was seen that the local children had a lack of nutritious meals, Vivien and Kevin especially fried eggs for the poor children for their lunch. They also visited the children boarding school and the kindergarden; they played games and drew pictures with the children.

Vivien had always shown her deep concern for the needs of poor children globally. First time visiting northern Vietnam, she agreed to sponsor a little girl named Tung Tung. Tung Tung's family is very much in poverty, her parents are divorced and her grandparents are busy trying to make a living, so they have no time to look after her. Also they are on a low supply of food, so often times Tung Tung does not get a full meal to eat. She said that she knows Tung Tung's story and it felt really heartbreaking, she hopes that she can become her second mother, providing more care for her so she can have a healthy growth. Vivien prepared a jacket, stationery, a book bag and a handful of hair ties as a greeting gift to Tung Tung.

Kevin Cheng has been with World Vision and been a children sponsor for several years, he felt that this visit is a rare opportunity. He was able to see his sponsored son Ah Ngai and daughter Ah Ming with his own eyes, understand their news for living and he brought a playing ball as a greeting gift for them. Kevin said that Ah Ngai is still young, he's very obedient and working hard in school to support his family, this moved Kevin deeply.

Deric Wan denies having intentions to get back with Sonjia Kwok

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The other day, Deric Wan expressed the unforgettable "cuteness" or "her". It was said that he's referring to ex-lover Sonjia Kwok. Both Sonjia and Deric expressed that the they are troubled by the reports, but have different responses and didn't match up. Sonjia said that within a year there are 1 or 2 phone calls between them, while Deric said they do not keep in touch, implying that "someone' is lying.

Sonjia and Deric collaborated in 2002 in TVB series "The Legend of Love" and started the "pineapple bun love". Unfortunately it ended in 2 years. In one report, it said that Deric often calls her, while another report said that he recently came back to Hong Kong and brought a Mercedes Benz.

"She" is the deceased actress Pan Xingyi

Currently in Mainland shooting for an advertisement, Deric accepted the long distance call from reporters. He admitted that he purchased two Mercedes Benz in Hong Kong to encourage himself, while the other is a gift to his Hong Kong girlfriend Winnie. Regarding to the getting back with Sonjia reports, he denied: "I haven't kept in touch with her in the last few years. (Sonjia said that you always call her?) Someone is lying. (Are you two still friends?) We can be friends, but I really haven't kept in touch with her. (Your blog entry started this rumor?) I was definitely not talking about her, I'm talking about Pan Xingyi (Mainland actress), she got into an accident and passed away. She is an artist that my management company released. I was just thinking about her and felt emotional, but someone tried to twist the story. Lately after the Qinghai Earthquake, there are already many victims that don't have anything to eat, and now someone is over here doing making up nonsense. Tell that person to stop causing trouble, or else they'll go to Hell."

Worried others would misunderstand

However, Sonjia Kwok who is preparing to head back to TVB city to shoot "Seven Days Love Isolation" accepted an interview and was very frustrated: "I never said that he 'always called me'. That is ridiculous! The stuff he wrote on his blog is from a long time ago, it's Fans who told me about it. I was worried that others would misunderstand too, I called Deric and he told me that he's not talking about me. So OK, actually we broke up and we're still friends, but we haven't met up or anything. Probably in a year, there will be 1 or 2 phone calls."

When Sonjia got back to TVB city, she was surrounded by reporters trying to interview her, she continued to respond: "He never said that he wanted to pursue me. I also never thought about getting back together with him. He has a girlfriend, but I do wish him happiness."

'The Voice 2' -- 12-Year-Old Contestant Is Sent To Elimination Round

Posted by Admin 0 comments
"The Voice 2" started filming yesterday. Out of a total of 20 contestants, two of them were the most special: 12-year-old Lam Shing Wai (林昇湋) and 27-year-old Emily Marion Chan from Canada. Judges Kenny Bee and Teresa Capiro expressed they won't go easy on a 12-year-old just because he's cute.

After Lam sang Westlife's "You Raise Me Up," judge Miss Chan Chan reminded him: "At every age, you should do things that suit you, should keep an innocent heart of a child to sing. Don't imitate the way adults sing, otherwise it would be like a child wearing his older brother's shirt." Lam only received 15 points and was kicked into elimination round. Emily, who sang Stefanie Sun's "My Love" (我的愛) only received 13 points.

Kenny Bee was asked will he let his daughter 鍾懿 to compete? He said: "Although she sings OK, but I only like to play with her as a parent, school is first priority. She won't be a professional singer, so she won't compete." It's said his daughters doesn't like to dream of being a star, so he should be carefree? He said: "She doesn't have to dream, because she already is a star. Everyone recognizes her on the streets. However, in order to study, she retired from 'showbiz' during elementary school. Actually I think it's OK to encourage her to participate in singing competition in school, but school is still first priority."

Gillian Chung purchases HK$27 million flat; Joey Yung purchases the unit above

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Gillian Chung really knows what to do, even when buying properties she buys from her boss Albert Yeung's EEG estates. Yesterday, Ah Gil appeared in the Wan Chai luxurious flat to sign the contract to purchase a 1700 square feet ocean view unit. It was said that Ah Gil had a discount given by her boss Albert, the final price was over HK$27 million. In other words, even if Ah Gil does a 3% down payment, she still has to come up with HK$800,000. Just a year since her comeback and she's already promoted to a homeowner, Ah Gil should change her name to "Wealthy Lady".

On the day Ah Gil went to sign the housing contract, she attracted a large group of reporters to interview her. She did not mind announcing that she's buying a new property. Asked if she got it for HK$27 million? Ah Gil said: "I don't know how much the price is, not very good with numbers. I just know that I have to fork out a huge sum of money for the down payment, but EEG gave me a 10% discount and my boss gave me an additional 2% employee's discount." Asked how many properties is she currently holding? She did not respond directly, she only revealed that besides properties, she also purchased a 2,000 square feet storage space.

It was rumored that within the last year of her comeback, Ah Gil had already earned HK$10 million, Ah Gil said: "How much is 10 million? I'm buying this unit for my mother and I still have to slowly pay it off. I hope I'll find enough clothing sponsors." She's taking advantage of mother's day to give this new property to her mom. Looks like she's investing a lot this mother's day.

Manager Mani Fok exposed that Joey Yung also brought a unit and is on the same building as Ah Gil's unit. Joey's unit is right above Ah Gil's. Ah Gil smiled: "It's more convenient for us to chat!" As to the rumors that her Twins partner Charlene Choi is not willing to renew her contract with EEG, Ah Gil said: "I don't know. Our contract is the same, not expired yet. If we renew our contract in the future, we have to decide ourselves. No matter what, we are friends."

She frankly said that she never thought that she'll get this award because she doesn't have confidence for her singles. TVB is currently still discussing contract renewal plans with Star Entertainment, there should be a decision very soon.

I don't know now, I'll be happy if the contract renewed and I can still continue to release albums. To maintain popularity, I hope to continue with my music career." Have she asked Raymond Lam about her contract issues? Linda said that she didn't and feels that contract issues are confidential, should not talk about it with anyone.

I support him, he supports me. We both know that the headlines started because I have a series releasing soon." Are you feeling unhappy? "There's no such thing. Actually its because I went to Wenzhou earlier for stage work and made some mistakes. Don't look up the clips from that day, I look like I have fish skin." Is Joyce currently single? "I have always been single. All along Derek and I are only friends." Joyce strongly stressed that she is not hurt and does not need her friends to comfort her, but she has to say sorry to her friends for dragging them into the magazine report.
