A fan gives Charmaine Sheh a Lamborghini model with customized license plate

(Note: Photo was not from the article)

Have been in the industry for many years, Charmaine Sheh has received countless amounts of fan gifts. There were two gifts that was the most memorable to her. She said: "One fan knew that I love cars, so he gave me a Lamborghini model sports car. He knows that I can't afford such an expensive car! The model car also has my picture on it with a license plate 'SS1', SS represents 'Sheh Sheh' and the 1 represents that he's my number 1 fan."

It can be considered that Charmaine receives every possible care for fans. Besides sending their idol one of her most favorite toy model cars, another fan used Charmaine's childhood photos with her mother and created a "rubik's cube" with them! Charmaine expressed that the fan is worried that when she's working or bored, she doesn't have anything to pass the time, so he made her a special rubik's cube. She said: "The most touching part is not receiving the gift, but the meaning of the gift and his efforts. It's like every time I hold a fan gathering with Mainland fans, they would come up with a song for me to listen. They support and wishes me the best, sometimes when I hear it, I would get teary eyes. For this reason, every time I'm working in Mainland, no matter how busy I am, I will always try to find time to meet with them. They even said that as long as I'm happy, they will be happy too."

Angela Tong rides on Chin Ka Lok at "Super Trio" getting a "chi koo ding" (a boy)

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Eric Tsang, Chin Ka Lok and new hosts Kam Kong and Elvina Kong were recording for a special Super Games edition of "Super Trio". The guests include Angela Tong, Timmy Hung, Carlo Ng, Toby Leung, HotCha and Sammy Leung. Everyone continued to play with Angela and Ka Lok's rumors. Before recording, Angela was asked about Chin Ka Lok's joke of asking his ex-girlfriends Lee San San and Loletta Lee to do a special edition, Angela said: "Really? So many?!" Timmy was besides her and said: "That be fun! The rewards today really is Chin Ka Lok!" Angela said: "I want to win!" Timmy laughed: "For now, you are winning." Angela immediately said Thanks! When she saw Chin Ka Lok later, she ran over to take pictures with him.

During recording, Eric requested that Angela give a reason why she likes Chin Ka Lok, she said: "He's tall and handsome" Ka Lok said in embarassment: "Just thinking of it makes me wanna throw up."

When it was time for games, the group split into teams for a game of passing Udon and Pretz with their mouths. The outgoing Toby was not afraid of going mouth-to-mouth with Timmy. While Carlo and Angela were passing the food, Sammy was in between them and shouted: "Chin Ka Lok is watching them!"

The next game involves the male lifting up the female's legs from behind. The female then puts pressure with her chest on the balloon causing it to burst. With a good body figure, Toby was teased by Chin Ka Lok "chest on chest missiles". Then the female had to jump on the male's thigh to put more pressure on the balloon so it can pop. When Angela jumped on Chin Ka Lok's thigh, someone besides them asked: "did you give birth yet!" Ka Lok said: "Yes already did! It's a chi koo ding (meaning: baby boy)!" When the rough Toby jumped on Timmy's thigh, he revealed a painful expression. Hotcha's Winkie jumped on Eddie's thigh and broke the stool, the scene was hilarious.

Afterwards, Timmy expressed that he's fine. He said: "No problem, still got the elasticity. When Toby jumped on me, it was already not painful, I was already feeling numb. They are like murderers. I thought that Angela was already powerful among the group of girls, but Hotcha is crazy too! Can see how brutal they are." Chin Ka Lok heard that reporters said Angela is brutal, he laughed: "So that's why today I was really scared! (Angela used her chest to put pressure on the balloon, was your heart aching?) Really? (Go back and do a body check with her!) Body check? Too bad I'm not a doctor. (Usually when you and Angela play at home, is it that brutal too?) I'm never at home with her, once we see each other, we're like enemies. It's like a zombie seeing sticky rice!"

Michael Tse is surrounded by many women in "Hong Wu 32"

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Michael Tse, Kay Tse, Elanne Kwong, Joe Ma, Sammul Chan and Joel Chan were having their costume fitting for TVB up coming new series "Hong Wu Thirty Two". In this series, Michael plays the role as a secret military guard. He was asked if he plays the similar role as Donnie Yan? He said although they were both fighters, their roles are very different, and Donnie's action fighting is much cooler and more sharper than his. Reporter asked if he is worried about rumors since he develops a love relationship with Elanne, but has emotional feelings with Kate and Jess as well? Michael said if there is rumor, it can only be pubicity, not real. There will always be rumors whether they go home together after work, or giving someone a lift to work.
Michael said "I have to investigate a case in the series, but I have more scene playing opposite to male artists than females, in particular with Sammul.

Kate plays the role as a brothel madame as well as a secret military guard. The reporter asked if she has to strip in the series? She laughed and said no, but she has to wear see through clothes. She said "TV standard is different from the movie. That is the limit already" Kate was asked if there is any intimate scene between her and Michael? Kate said there will be , but she doesn't know the details yet. She has to wait and see.

This is Elanne's first time acting in an ancient TV series. She plays the princess, and Joe Ma is her brother. Elanne said "I was worried at first that I don't have the appearance for being "ancient". Fortunately the outcome is not bad indeed." Elanne revealed in the series, she was emotionally attracted to Michael, Sammul and Bejanin Yuen. Talking about her not being loyal to one man only, she said "Michael is the same, he is surrounded by many women. But in the end, it is a happy ending."

Elanne expressed that she is not at all worried about any rumors about her and Michael by the media. She is more concerned that she may have her mouth lopsided by laughing too much. She went on to say "Michael always teases me and makes fun of me. I am sure when we start filming, I will be laughing all the time. I am worried we'll have plenty NG "

Producer Gary Tang’s "Healing Hands" saved Lawrence Ng

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Back when he was at TVB, producer Gary Tang Tak Hei was once credited with successfully resurrecting the careers of popular veteran artists such as Michael Tao, Lawrence Ng, Flora Chan, etc. The hit series that he produced -- "Files of Justice I – V" and "Healing Hands" -- which focused on the lives of ‘professionals’ such as lawyers and doctors, helped open the door for a wave of future series to emerge with this same genre. Not to mention the wonders it did for actor Lawrence Ng – whose career at the time had hit rock bottom after a stint doing adult films in the movie industry. By giving him the role of the cultivated, polite neurologist Dr. Paul Cheng in the series "Healing Hands", Gary helped Lawrence successfully transform his image and become one of TVB’s most popular lead actors of that generation, especially amongst housewives.

With the 5 part "Files of Justice" series, Gary also helped to change the image of actors Michael Tao, Bobby Au Yeung, and William So – all second line actors at the time who were not widely known – plus actors Bowie Lam and Lawrence Ng (both joined the series later on) -- propelling all of them to instant fame. Gary Tang’s unique ability to “raise the living from the dead” (in terms of careers) was greatly admired and many artists hoped that one day they would have the opportunity to work with him.

Flora Chan did not disappoint

Gary Tang joined TVB in 1981 as a script writer – as a writer, his body of work included many of the most popular series of the 80s such as the "Police Cadet" trilogy as well as "Looking Back in Anger". Asked which actor made the deepest impression on him? Gary replied: “I remember back then, when Simon Yam was filming the "Police Cadet" sequel, he had a tremendous amount of respect toward us script writers. In the middle of the night, after he finished filming, he would run upstairs to our office to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Also, the audiences at that time took ‘watching series’ very seriously; one time, a member of the audience called, asked for me by name, and demanded to know why a particular scene for the "Police Cadet" sequel was written so ‘foolishly’ – it was a scene where Chow Yun Fat was being ‘framed’ for something he didn’t do!”

In 1989, Gary left TVB for rival ATV, however in 1991, he returned to TVB to take on the position of Production Supervisor and was given the responsibility of producing the "Files of Justice" and "Healing Hands" series. In order to find ‘new blood’ for the series, he transferred Flora Chan – who at the time was working as a research assistant and host for TVB’s English-language channel Pearl – to the Jade channel series production department so that she could become an actress; this absolutely was a gamble on his part. Luckily, Flora did not let him down – her debut in "Files of Justice V" as a lawyer named Kat was well-received and caused her to be noticed. After that, she collaborated with Gary again in "Healing Hands" and shot to popularity, thereby becoming one of TVB’s first line lead actresses (fa-dan).

Gary certainly has a good eye for talent. Back in the day, he was the one who ‘found’ 6-time Best Actor Nick Cheung – not yet ‘polished’ at the time – and cast him as a funny but honest CID cop in "Healing Hands". Nick brought a much needed comedic element to the often tense storyline and his character was well-liked by the audiences. Gary commented: “When he’s filming, Nick may give the impression that he is just playing around, but in actuality he is very precise – he considers every detail very in depth and is able to cover all bases. Definitely very serious.”

Turns ‘rocks’ into ‘gold’ but does not boast

Gary has helped propel many artists to stardom and almost all of them are currently first rate actors / actresses, however he does not feel that he should take credit for their success: “All of those actors and actresses had true acting talent, so it’s no surprise that they would become so popular and successful. I was just lucky to have the opportunity to work with them.”

It has been reported that Gary’s new series "Heroes of the Law", which he produced for ATV, is scheduled to air in August. He says: “In terms of production and creativity, hopefully "Heroes of the Law" will give audiences a sense of ‘freshness’. It’s important to note that in terms of TV series production, TVB’s ‘method’ is not the only correct ‘method’ – that’s what I hope to prove with this series.” In addition to the release of this series, the production company that he owns in partnership with Lawrence Ng is preparing to start filming on another series…fans of his series hopefully won’t have to wait too long.

Kenneth Ma Wishes to Kiss Selena Li

Posted by Admin 0 comments

Selena's personality is optimistic. On set, she often makes her partners happy.

Although Kenneth is a sweet talker, in Selena's eyes, he is a hundred-percent good guy.

Selena and Kenneth work together constantly; playing a couple again has no degree of difficulty.

Kenneth Ma ignores rumoured girlfriend Nancy Wu, as he openly expressed that he likes to pair up with Selena Li the most. Aside from longing to do stage performances with Selena, Kenneth hopes to play husband and wife with Selena, as well as additional kiss scenes!

Selena and Kenneth worked together again in TVB series "A Fistful of Stances", which has followed "The Four", "The Master of Tai Chi", "To Grow with Love", and "The Herbalist's Manual", where they also play a couple. Although they repeatedly collaborate, the more they film together, the more fresh the collaboration. Kenneth also openly expressed that he wants to become an onscreen couple with Selena. Could it be that he is not worried about rumoured girlfriend being jealous?

Personality Is Optimistic

Kenneth expressed that he is frequently coupled with Selena, but there is no sense of boredom as of yet: "There is a lot of chemistry working with Selena, and it is also very happy [working with her]. In the company, you cannot work with everyone so comfortably. Her personality is optimistic, making everyone very happy. I remember working with her in "The Master of Tai Chi". There was a crying scene in which she was unable to cry, so she looked for a novel to read. She read a couple pages, and then she started to cry--it was quite funny. (Do you want to become an onscreen couple with Selena?) Of course! The best would be for us to become a working couple; aside from filming, we can also sing together and do stage performances. I really want to play more sweet husband and wife characters with Selena; it would be better if there were more kiss scenes. However, this time in "Can't Buy Me Love", she has become my cousin-in-law. I prefer for us to play couples instead!"

Sweet Talking, Good Guy

Selena laughingly says that Kenneth is a sweet talker; however, she greatly praises him as being a good guy. She expressed that she likes to film romantic scenes with guys she is more familiar with: "He has been saying that since "The Herbalist's Manual"--always a sweet talker--but he is a good guy, good husband, and very dependable. If he doesn't praise me, wouldn't he be afraid that I would play tricks on him? (Are there any unforgettable memories working with Kenneth in series?) This time in "Fistful", we had an underwater scene. I don't know how to swim, so I was extremely terrified. During filming, the water went in my nose; it also made my eyes uncomfortable. In all my years in the industry, [this scene] was the most labourious. Luckily, he was by my side, so that I would not be so terrified in the water".

Joey Yung wants oxygen tank to preserve her voice

Friday, April 09, 2010 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Joey Yung, Raymond Lam, Denise Ho and Kate Tsui attended "IFPI Hong Kong Top Record Sale Awards 2009" last night. Joey won 4 awards making her the big winner of the night, she said with a hoarse voice: "Maybe because the air in Hong Kong isn't good. Before when I was in Australia I was fine, really have to carrry and oxygen tank before I go out!"

Joey reveals that good friend Eason Chan introduced her to "Human-God Technique", but actually Joey already has a good idea, she said: "I went to see my doctor, took steroids and then eat pizza. My current plan is to go back to Mainland for acupuncture at the end of this month, better than human-god technique." Joey expressed that she will introduce the doctor to Eason, asked why she doesn't invite the doctor to Hong Kong? She said: "I tried before, but the doctor is not young, he doesn't want to move around too much. Last time, his daughter accompanied him in coming to HK, but he ate something wrong and had to go to the hospital. I felt pretty sorry."

Raymond Lam won 3 awards becoming the winner among the male singers. Without the Big 4 record company singers greatly reduced the competition. Raymond winning the "Highest Record Sales for Male Singer" award, is he worried that that him winning the award this time is not convincing enough? He said: "Either way, there will be comment, just do my best. I also hope for more singers to participate in the award ceremony. (Greater chance in winning?) It's a big family in the entertainment circle, there's a good relationship between the singers, one less chance of seeing each other, I feel that it's a pity."

Kevin Cheng hopes for better ratings, so can work with cast again

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB series "A Fistful of Stances" received average ratings last week, but has great discussions. Lead actor Kevin Cheng plays two roles, as the father and son. He said that it was challenging and hopes that the TV ratings could get better and better. He said: "Fistful" is one of my favorite scripts, also the filming process with the cast was very enjoyable. Kenneth Ma, Natalie Tong, Lam Ka Wa, Tavia Yeung and everyone are like one family. After filming, we would meet up for dinner, watch movies and if the TV ratings are good, there is a chance for a sequel. I look forward to collaborating with them again."

The ratings are still on the sprinting stage, but Kevin reveals that this year his income has been very satisfying. At the beginning of the year, he earned 7 figures, no wonder he couldn't stop smiling: "During new years, I was in the States filming a commercial and accepted a few shows. In May, I'm going to Malaysia with Moses Chan, Ron Ng and Bosco Wong for a concert. It's pretty satisfying this year. I hope to fulfill my mother's wish as soon as possible, buy a house. The housing prices are way too high now, will need to wait a bit."

Asked if his mother has rushed him into marriage? He smiled: "Two years ago she did, she said son take advantage of this time when your still young. But everyone don't try to convince me, when its not time for marriage yet, I will not talk about relationships."

Jessica Hsuan got 5 tumors removed in one go

(photo of Jessica's wrist after surgery)

Yesterday Jessica Hsuan expressed on her microblog that she just had surgery done and was in anesthesia. She said that there probably is some lost of memory as a result. Although Jessica did not reveal if she was suffering from any illness, she only disclosed: "Do not need to worry. I had a small tumor on my wrist, 4 on the head, but now it's all gone bye bye!"

After completing the surgery, Jessica said: "The surgery was completed this morning and I was discharged from the hospital. I really did not enjoy the feeling of anesthesia. Actually my boyfriend was really worried, but he told me not to be worried, of course I loved to hear that. But I'm wasn't nervous because it's a small surgery. The tumors on my head and wrist was nothing dangerous. I got one on my wrist because of the injuries from skiing. The ones on my head, the doctor said that its due to the hair follicles, just have to cut out the head skin and cut out the tumor then it's fine. But I did have to lose small amounts of hair, it doesn't affect my hairstyle though. My hair can actually cover the wounded area. I took advantage of this time when I don't have much work to do this surgery."

He says: “I can’t bear to part with the career I have built up in Hong Kong these past 3 years, however I also really miss life in Taiwan. Bosco Wong And Myolie Wu Slip Into Love Triangles Easily

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Recently, there had been rumors that Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu had ended their 5-year relationship. However, both parties have proven that their relationship remains unchanged, and even display their sweetness when playing in the Sina Twitter service. Their relationship seems stable. Looking closely at both of them, their 8-characters match and will bring luck to each other. But for the next 3 years, their relationship will change, and it's easy to slip into a love triangle, thus it must be dealt with carefully.

The relationship between Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu has been stable throughout the years. Though both of them have not admitted each other's identity, they will stand up and defend each other whenever the other party has negative news. They often receive jobs as a couple. With both romance and career developing well, it makes many people envious.

Master Ng Pui Fu said that Bosco's destiny is 'metal', while Myolie's 'earth'. Their 8-characters match each other, thus their relationship has always been stable. In addition, Bosco even brings luck to Myolie, especially on her career luck. "Myolie's destiny has too much 'stubborn earth'. Her marriage and relationship will have more setbacks. She's more suitable to be with younger men, especially those born in the year of monkey or rooster. Thus, Bosco, who's in the year of monkey, can be said to be very suitable. Similarly, Bosco, whose image is younger, is more suitable to date ladies whom are older. But as Myolie has too much 'earth', and as the saying goes about 'too much earth will bury the metal', thus it might affect Bosco's career to have more obstacles."

But Master Ng also pointed out that Bosco, who's in the year of monkey, will 'offend the Star God (Tai Sui)' this year, and have a battle with Myolie's metal-wood. Thus their relationship this year will be susceptible to changes. There's a chance of a third party stepping in for the lady , making this into a love triangle. Master Ng said, "For the next two to three years, there will be changes in Myolie's relationship luck. It's likely for huge setbacks to appear. Though their 8-characters match, there's still the possibility of changes to them becoming a married couple. Because for the upcoming two years, there will be bigger impacts on relationship matters. There's a chance of a break-up situation. But if Bosco's romance fails, his career luck will rise up in return!" Though it seems like there's a hidden crisis, Master Ng pointed out that as long as both of them pass through this difficult stage in these 3 years, their relationship development will be even smoother!

When asked if Charlene would decline any future work collaborations with Ronald Cheng, Charlene generously said: "I don't mind!" How about the possibility of acting as lovers or husband and wife? "Let's wait for there to be a script first (before thinking about it)."

Gillian Chung a professional artist, does not mind nudity

He then teased Michelle saying: "When I first saw it, I was happen, but then later I numb, seriously affecting my personal life. But the performance gets 99%, the 1% is subtracted because she didn't reveal enough."

Towards the 99% score, Michelle was satisfied, she said: "I don't dare to reveal anymore. I used clothing to cover the sensitive parts during filming." Gillian said that she didn't get to see Michelle film the revealing full back scene, asked if she would do a daring performance for a film? She said: "If there is a requirement, I'll think about it. Fala expressed that she has heard about the break up reports, she said: "It is not my business, I will not respond. (It was said that Marie was talking about you that cause the break up?) That is definitely not my business, I will not think about that." Asked if its because the Sit family is low-key, so she doesn't want to say too much? She expressed that she just wants to focus on her work and not respond to other people's issues.

Moses smiled and said that when he was studying, he always wanted to go do horse race gambling because he likes betting. He said: "One time in Australia, I won a pair of tennis shoes, but someone stole it, so that made me feel I didn't have much gambling luck."

According to the Taiwanese media, there has been pregnancy rumors revolving around Ada Choi and is scheduled to give birth in October. Hacken Lee accepts interview with i-Cable in Cantonese

Posted by Admin 0 comments
As “TVB’s god-son”, Hacken Lee’s position in the past few months during TVB’s dispute with HKRIA over royalties has been awkward at best. To avoid going against TVB, Hacken insisted on honoring his contractual obligations and therefore refused to be interviewed by i-Cable. However, with his TVB contract expiring last week (3/31) plus the birth of his 2nd son, Hacken decided to “break the ban” yesterday and accepted an interview with i-Cable.

Though the dispute between TVB and HKRIA over royalties is still ongoing, Hacken no longer has to bear the weight of ‘TVB contracted singer’, so he happily shared the joy of his son Rex’s birth with i-Cable. At the same time, he also accepted a telephone interview with TVB’s "Scoop" to share the good news.

During his interview with i-Cable, Hacken was asked whether he is concerned that doing this interview in Cantonese will affect his relationship with TVB. Hacken replied: “I have not thought about it; actually, the earth is turning every day and depending on which point it stops at, different things happen. Before, I was contracted with TVB so I had to honor my contractual obligation, however my contract ended on 3/31. I have not thought heavily about it – just let everything take its natural course…I’ll take it as getting to know more people.” (Will you be appearing more on i-Cable shows in the future?) “One step at a time.” (There were rumors previously that i-Cable offered you HKD$10 million to take on hosting responsibilities for the World Cup?) He laughed and replied: “Haha...if I sign on for 3 seasons straight, I can really afford to have more children…whether I’ll be the host or not, leave it up to fate.”

Asked whether he will try again to have a baby girl? Hacken said that it most likely won’t happen, as he feels that 2 children are enough so there are no plans currently for another one.

Ming Pao TV Review: "A Fistful of Stance" Most Inexplicable

Posted by Admin 0 comments
There had been two days in which the ratings was at 23 points, but the ratings have raised to 27 points recently. Last week's (March 22 - March 26) average rating was at 27 points, but it is still a far way to the ideal ratings.

It is from the creative crew of "Rosy Business"; however, the storyline does not revolve around life, death, and friendship. "A Fistful of Stances" is rather about a warm family being harmed by evil people. How are they going to fight back? How are they going to be persecuted?

The good and evil are clearly defined in "A Fistful of Stances". The plot is thick, it is worth chasing, and it is worth watching. But, how come the audience isn't watching? "Fighting" actually chases viewers away.

Pre-modern fighting is not Jin Yong martial arts fighting. The female audience may not like to watch it. Real kung fu is worse, just like the time when Yuen Biu came to TVB to film "Real Kung Fu". The series suffered a big loss in ratings. From what we can see, even if Yuen Chau has more fight scenes, it may not add interest for the audience.

Kevin Cheng's attraction cannot be compared to Chai Gau and Fourth Wife, especially when it comes to selling his acting ability. He does not specialize in capturing the audience's attention. Actually, his acting has shown improvement, but Cheng Siu Sang still belongs to an "idol" level. To make a transformation in an instant--is it really that easy? On the other hand, Kenneth Ma has gained greater praise. However, to only rely on Dominic Lam as a character actor is quite weak. The one who has stood out is third-line actor Eric Li. His bald look is quite terrifying.

The plot is thickening. Along with fighting scenes, there is sadness and resentment. The feedback from the online community has been spreading, making it become more and more popular. [I] believe that the ratings will become better and better. When the series is near its ending, will it overcome the ratings drought and break 30 points?

Ella Koon encounters accident copying Faye Wong's hairstyle

Wednesday, April 07, 2010 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Yesterday Ella Koon appeared in a retro hair style. Since her debut, she had always kept long hair style, never had she had short hair. But, she frankly said that when she was studying, she was very brave, one time she shaved her head and was bald!

Ella said: "That time I liked the 'punk' style, also at the time Faye Wong had the same hairstyle, so I felt that it was really pretty and copied her. But I didn't shave it well, left some patches here and there. I had to go to the hairstylist to help me fix it later." Asked if she minds bald guys looking like the letter 'M'? Ella smiled: "No one wants to lose hair. It is a physiological phenomena that I will not discriminate against, the most important thing is that the person has a good personality. My boyfriend's hairstyle is ok, very normal." Ella expressed that in order to avoid being photographed of her dating, when she scrolls the park near her house, she would wear a cap and dark sunglasses. It's no wonder her parents get frightened when she goes home.

Angela Tong wears long 6 inch heel boots disguised as Joey Yung

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Angela Tong was a guest at "Fun with Liza and Gods", she wore 6 inch heel boots to disguise herself as Joey Yung. She danced on stage with a group of dancers and even did the splits! Angela expressed that it was challenging because had to dance with such long boots: "I couldn't even stand straight! And I had to do dances that I didn't even know how to! Before at rehearsal, I twisted my ankle, and had to do the splits. I had on extra under pants to prevent myself from being exposed. (Are you worried that Joey might not be satisfied with your performance?) I will try my best to perform! Joey is the Pop Music Queen, my performance of course wouldn't be as great." Is there any pressure? Angela smiled and said that she's most worried about not passing the test and embarrassing herself: "I won't defame her, but I hope no one complains!"

Liza Wang, Wong Cho Lam, Johnson Lee and Louis Yuen were recording for "Fun with Liza and Gods" last night and invited Angela Tong and HotCha a guests. One part involved Johnson and Wong Cho Lam pretending to be "Tse Chung Lei" (Ronald Cheng) and "Choi Cheuk Yim" (Charlene Choi). They imitated Ronald and Ah Sa's divorce press conference with their own story about eating pig intestines that caused their divorce. They said: "We were eating from Monk Kwok to L.A, both of us really enjoyed the time together, but now we hope that we could just remain as friends forever." Gillian Chung + Twins’ Album: Tin Hau Once Again Departs As a Lonely Figure

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Album: Everyone Bounce
Artist: Gillian Chung + Twins

The “Everyone Bounce” Album is divided into two parts. One part includes Twins’ 2 new songs in addition to Twins’ classics throughout the years; the other portion is Gillian Chung’s first solo EP. The former (Twins’ album) serves as a bodguard and buffer to the latter (Gillian’s EP). Due to the negative impact of the scandal, Twins were directly forced to dissolve to a certain degree, while Charlene Choi has advanced solo.

It is therefore with great urgency that I had hoped this Gillian Chung EP would be able to catch up for a year of wasted time. As a result, as the release of the album approached, two provocative steamy songs and music videos were rushed out — “A Heart Too Many” and “What is the Trend” — as a race against time to start back Gillian’s career.

But unfortunately, like the majority of female singers who suddenly change their path towards dance music, with these two dance songs, Gillian Chung is like water which has come in contact in oil: that which cannot be mixed and does not fit hand in hand. In the slow ballads “Living Abroad” and “Starting off from Tin Hau Station,” it is clear that Gillian Chung is exposed as being a much weaker than Ah Sa, with Gillian possessing an inferior weak and frail voice.

Gillian Chung: “Everyone Bounce” EP Professional Review – Rating 6/10

Gillian Chung: “Everyone Bounce” EP
Record Company: Emperor Entertainment Group
Release Date: March 26, 2010
Rating: 6/10

Following Charlene Choi’s release of two music albums, Twins’ other member Gillian Chung has finally taken her first step in developing solo in music. It is without a doubt impossible to deny that her managament company (Emperor Entertainment Group) still remains hesitant and uneasy towards Gillian developing solo. If not, EEG would not have grouped Gillian’s solo EP together with Twins’ “Everyone Bounce” album to release as a package. Gillian’s album only includes 6 songs, two of which nevertheless include duets with William Chan. This once again reflects the degree to which EEG is cautious as they attempt to increase the popularity of Gillian Chung’s album through the collaboration with currently young and popular, William Chan.

Frankly, this album containing 6 songs lacks refinement. Perhaps, the main purpose of releasing this album is to treat it as Gillian Chung’s comeback milestone, but it does not portray a personal music style. Therefore, when listening to the album in its entirety, one is not left with a deep impression. The melody of “A Heart Too Many” is not entirely weak, but MC Jin’s performance is once again great. But perhaps it is more appropriate to include “What is the Trend” on William Chan’s album instead with a greater portion of the song sung by William. Finally with great difficulty, Gillian Chung struggles with a lack of distinct melodies in her music, leaving ordinary and little effect on a listener.

It is said that the EP art is similar to Charlene Choi’s “Two Without One” album released in 2009, particularly in terms of album design with an emphasis on one particular colour in both albums with an identical smoke and paint effect. One who is not careful may think that it is merely one album separated into two album arts. However, who would know?

Gillian Chung’s music career has a ways to go, especially given that she has started late under particular circumstances. With an unsatisfactory debut album, the market and public may be tolerant. However, if there is still no improvement, then perhaps there will not be a ‘next time’. After all, the public market is becoming more and more aware and selective.

Stephy Tang: Fans told me to marry Alex Fong

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Yesterday Stephy Tang attended the autograph session for her new album "Music Cafe". She sang two songs on stage and played games with the fans. During the time, one fan gave her flowers, while another fan gave her a chef's hat. The chef's hat is suppose to represent Alex Fong's gift to her because Alex hosted for "Beautiful Cooking" before.

Towards fans really accepting the Alex and Stephy pair? She said: "Yes! Fans online even told me to marry and have kids with him." Would she accept the suggestion to marry Alex? She said: "The current focus is on my career, I never thought about marriage." She said that she has worked with Alex way too much, it feels kind of tiring now. Initially she didn't want to work with Alex anymore, but Fans really like the pairing, so she and her company are prepared to go down the direction on collaborating with Alex again.

She will soon be releasing a dance album, will she be square dancing with Alex? She said: "A good suggestion because he's not very good at dancing, his arms and legs don't coordinate well. Alex and I have the same dance instructor, so can pull him along for dance lessons."

Tavia Yeung like Cinderella with Raymond Lam helping her put on shoe

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The other night, Raymond Lam, Bobby Au Yeung and Tavia Yeung were shooting for the outdoor scenes to TVB new series . The scene talked about the married couple Bobby and Tavia on the sky bridge trying to reconcile, but failed. Tavia even went more towards "third person" Raymond, running so much that her heel broke off. Because Bobby was stubborn, Raymond had to be the gentlemen and help Tavia fix her shoe. Afterwards, Tavia laughed and said that she's extremely honored: "I felt like Cinderella! Raymond is the idol to thousands of fan girls, and now he's helping me put on my shoe! But I'm even more honored that Bobby helped me carry shoes."

Raymond only laughed and said that when he helped Tavia put on her shoes, it didn't smell. Asked if he's afraid that his fans would get jealous? He said: "I collaborated the most with Tavia in TVB series, I've also known her the longest, so there's nothing to worry about." Also, Bobby was asked if he has any kiss scenes with Tavia in the series? He said: "It's best not to have any. It's not a good scene when I have flat nose and mouth. I'm always afraid to do those scenes, it's really embarrassing. When I shoot kiss scenes, I become stiff and might make the scene look fake, then people will say that the scene is too fake. If it's too intense, then people will call you a pervert."
