As reported on ET Today, last week, singer Benny Chan and his record label, Avex Taiwan, was surprised to find that his "I Love U" music video has already been posted online in mainland Chinese streaming sites and YouTube as it only concluded filming in early June.
A representative of Avex stated, "We were shocked because the production crew themselves have not seen the final product. Even the official date of the music video release has not been determined yet."
Meanwhile, a flustered Benny expressed his frustration with the leaked release, saying, "The producers and distributors had been working hard to make a good video and release it on the perfect date. I hope people have more respect for copyrights."
"I Love U" is Benny's first Mandarin EP after his hiatus from the industry for a year to take care of his wife and first daughter, Elizabeth.
Released on 24 June, the EP consists of only three tracks, which are "I Love U", "Thankful" and "Romantic Movie Song".
