It was reported that TVB actress Sheren Tang has been suspended by the company for the recent controversy she triggered.
Jayne Stars reported that the actress has been vocal in expressing her dissatisfaction about the lack of finished scripts during the shooting of "Beauty At War", stating that the piecemeal scripts have taken a toll on her performance and health.
The actress, who also expressed her regrets on filming the feeble sequel, refused to attend certain promotional events for "Beauty At War" and would always talk about its flaws rather than promoting it.
Her constant displeasure reportedly angered TVB, and the company has decided to suspend her.
According to TVB's General Manager, Mark Lee, "TVB had always valued Sheren highly, and she has had her shining moments with us. It was fine when a drama was a success, but now, when the drama is struggling, she starts complaining. One demotivates others when one can't acknowledge the success and only regard the losses."
He continued, "Some of Sheren's TVB colleagues have talked to me about her before, and said that her constant criticism makes them uncomfortable. Since this is the case, it is better if we stop the collaborations for now!"
When asked if her conduct was the reason why she was dropped from Eric Tsang's "Aerobic Girls" project, Mark Lee stated, "In a way, yes."
