A new rumour surfaced just as Raymond Lam confessed his relationship to
19-year-old actress, Karena Ng.
As reported on Asianpopnews website, it was revealed that while filming 2012's "Love is Pyjamas" - the movie that brought the couple together, Karena Ng was at the time dating 1985 Miss Kong Kong runner-up Ellen Wong's son, Chester Lim.
However, it was alleged that the actress had a change of heart after being courted by the relentless Raymond Lam, who often called and treated her to dinners and karaoke sessions. Reports stated that the actress was still dating Chester when she started seeing Raymond Lam secretly.
An insider revealed, "After Raymond and Karena were photographed on a private date, Chester asked her if Raymond was courting her. The actress denied it. But she started to do things more discreetly after that. When she and Raymond started getting serious, Karena would refuse calls from Chester and excused herself from going out with him."
The source also stated that the actress eventually broke up with him through text messages and that Chester Lim is still heartbroken about the breakup.
However, neither Karena nor Raymond has stepped up to clarify the rumour at the time being.
