'Sergeant Tabloid' plot exposed, TVB re-edits entire series for HK Broadcast

Saturday, August 11, 2012 Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB series Sergeant Tabloid has been a hot topic even before its broadcast in HK. The series was originally scheduled to air in HK this month (August), but because the plot involved Mainland 'non-citizen' pregnant women and estate supremacy issues; the series released overseas and on Mainland streaming site PPS; and the series was illegally uploaded on Tudou, Youtube and other websites, TVB decided to push back the HK release and air Liza Wang and Gigi Wong's Divas In Distress instead. Although we don't know if the delay was related to the exposure of the plot, but to prevent producer Nelson Cheung's Sergeant Tabloid from doing poorly in HK, TVB came up with an all new ending, recorded a theme song and re-edited the entire series.

Since Sergeant Tabloid had already released overseas earlier this April, which exposed the storyline and Netizens complained there wasn't enough on the romantic storylines, producer Nelson Cheung decided to give the series a 'makeover' and re-edit the entire series adding more scenes on the leading actor and actress relationship as requested by Netizens. Nelson said: "Whether if its the story development or the scenes, it is going to be re-edited entirely to accommodate viewers' taste. We will add more scenes on Niki Chow and Michael Tse's relationship, and put the previously deleted Mandy Wong and Matthew Ko scenes. There will also be other new additions, in short, many of the never-before-seen scenes will be on the HK version of Sergeant Tabloid. Finally, we also did an all new ending for viewers to choose from, which can only seen by the HK audience."

Lead actress Niki Chow expressed she looks forward to see the all new HK version of Sergeant Tabloid, she said: "The new ending is confidential. Audience can just slowly relax and enjoy the series. The series touches on many sensitive topics, like the Mainland 'non-citizen' pregnant women and the chief executive, those parts were deleted in the overseas version. I really hope audience will be able to see those scenes, that's how it remains original!" Earlier Niki put her 18 pound policewoman uniform back on for the new ending shooting, no wonder she wants the series to air in HK as soon as possible, so the local audience can see her achievement.

Chilam Cheung a more handsome pilot than Francis Ng

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB grand production Triumph in the Skies II has already started shooting. Yesterday pilot Chilam Cheung drove punk girl Fala Chen in a Jaguar sports car for the shooting of a scene near the airport. In the series, the two will have a romantic storyline in the sky and Fala's role will eventually become a pilot as well. Yesterday, they were shooting the scene where Fala decides she wants to become a pilot.

Shooting under the bitter heat, what's more important to Chilam is to stay handsome. Dressed in a tidy pilot uniform and dark shades, Chilam was seen in the sports car talking on the phone and looking very hot. As for Fala, her appearance differed from her usual beautiful girl look. She put on black eyeliner, leather jacket, spiky bracelet and a neck chain. This punk girl took her camera and constantly took pictures everywhere and shouted: "Sky, I'm coming!"

When Fala was shooting the shouting scene, Chilam went to see her performance and although he took off his pilot jacket, he still looked very handsome posing with his hands in his pockets. Chilam joins TITS2 and competes with 'Sam Gor' Francis Ng on being handsome. It was said many people thinks Chilam is hotter than Francis? Chilam smiled embarrassingly and then promptly replied: "Crazy! Who said that?" Fala, standing next to him, couldn't hold in her laughter either.

Strives for Opportunity to Sing Theme Song

Also, Fala just released her debut album and has been busy shooting and promoting her album. Yesterday morning, she and her boss Herman Ho were on a radio interview together. It was rumored that this is Fala's first and final album since there has been lack of promotions for her album, her songs haven't made it on the song charts and she made objections to her boss earlier. On the radio interview, Fala and Herman clarified the rumors together. Fala laughed and said she's happy people are paying attention to her album, but she's already used to the negative news and just as long as she knows the truth, then that's enough. She is most pleased with the current album sales.

As for Fala's songs haven't made it on the charts? Herman explained its caused by the 'traffic jam' since there had been several heavyweight singers that released their albums prior to Fala's album. At this point in time, it is the down time for newcomers. When asked about the lack of promotions? Herman said it's primarily due to schedule conflicts because singers have to make time to go on radio stations for promotions, but Fala is currently focused on shooting series. Herman expressed after Fala completes TITS2, there are plans for her to hold a mini concert and the company will strive to get Fala the opportunity to sing the series theme song. Herman hopes to have Fala do a duet with Chilam.

Hu Ge is not confident about beating Tony Leung Chiu Wai

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Hu Ge in the film DIVA played a blind masseur who developed a relationship with music diva Joey Yung Cho Yi. This film will be released on the 16th and confronted Tony Leung Chiu Wai, who also played a blind person in the film THE SILENT WAR (TING FUNG JEH). Was he confident about beating Wai Jai? He said, "No, Leung Chiu Wai is my idol, a god in my heart. I have liked him for years. His acting is amazing. Although some people feel that his characters are pretty much the same and look the same, as long as you look at them seriously you would know that they are not. They have variations."

Was Wai Jai his target, winning awards repeatedly in film? Hu Ge said that he studied drama at the university, he did not have to be a very famous star. He only hoped to have a little achievement in performance. Like Wai Jai he would like to be recognized, with awards to prove his acting. Hu Ge also loved the stage and hoped to perform a play next year. He said, "After graduation I haven't returned to the stage! Someone has approached me before, but I was too busy with work. My heart for the stage is getting stronger and stronger, hopefully next year I will be able to fulfill the wish."

Hu Ge in the past mainly worked on television series and all were costume series. He felt limited. This time he had a chance to make the modern film DIVA and play a blind person for the first time, he was very exciting. However he said, "Playing blind is very hard! Although before hand I watched some movies with blind characters, and at home I closed my eyes to feel around with my hands, but during the official shoot the director didn't allow me to cover up my eyes, wear sunglasses or roll my eyes to perform. I had to keep my eyes open and made them without spirit or focus. Ultimately I am normal, my eyes often unknowingly showed spirit. So I had more bad takes." He also in order to bring life to the masseur learned to give massages at a friend's spa. Did his friend arrange for men for him to study with? He laughed and said, "How do you know? That's why when I was giving a massage to the naked Joey I was a little embarrassed. Luckily I have studied it before. I believed that my massage techniques were professional and not overboard."

In the film he had romantic nourishment, but in real life his love life was blank as he has been single for two years already. He said that he did not stay away from love, but since he was already 30 he was not as causal as he used to be. Now he would consider it more cautiously and felt that he would date only people he would marry.

He claimed to be a traditional man with a very strong family value, thus he wanted to find someone outside the industry. He said, "My life circle is so narrow, finding a girlfriend outside the industry truly isn't easy. Leave it to fate! My parents aren't rushing me to wed, instead my friends are more worried. They often introduced girls to me at events, it's so embarrassing!" Hong Kong male artists loved busty female Mainland stars. Did he have to find a girlfriend with a good figure as well? He humorously said, "Good figure, good for birthing." He felt that the figure was unimportant. The most important was the first impression.

Pang Ho Cheung and Chapman To argue over Dada Chen

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Director Pang Ho Cheung after hits film LOVE IN A PULLF (JI MING YU CHUN GIU), LOVE IN THE BUFF (CHUN GIU YU JI MING) ran into the chance to make "Ren Jai" with co-productions. However he was afraid that the next generation would look down upon him for "making movies for money". Thus he was wiling to make the sacrifice and less money in order to persist with pure Hong Kong films. He invested 8 million to make the category III madcap Hong Kong film VULGARIA (DAI JOOK HET KEI). With producer Chapman To Man Jat's personal bestiality experience illusion, foul language, female star elevation secret elements expose all in one, he film released grievances along with the audience. However, he still could not believe that he and To Man Jat argued over DaDa Chen Jing's chopstick scene.

Pang Ho Cheung said, "DaDa's 'poking', intimate scenes went very smoothly. Yet a street stall scene got me all riled up! DaDa in that scene had no dialogue, she only needed to feed a girl with chopsticks. Actually she didn't know how to use chopsticks, finally the scene took all night to shoot." To Man Jat said that the despised elders teaching others how to act, but he could not stand DaDa getting scolded. He could only lend a helping hand with chopsticks. "DaDa couldn't learn no matter what, Pang Ho Cheung kept yelling. So it was my turn. After the shoot, I sent a text message to yell at Pang Ho Cheung for yelling at actors on the set. I hate that the most!"

To Man Jat has been on the receiving end of DaDa's lack of chopstick knowledge and lack of memory for dialogue, thus he was not surprised when he read the news that her book had incorrect words. DaDa awkwardly said, "This time was a lesson, I never thought that life details would affect my performance. I had a lazy pronunciation, before the shoot I already read newspaper to improve. Yet on the set I was nervous and flubbed, dragging To Man Jat into the bad take. I was so guilty I broke down in tears." DaDa played the "popping candy" and the "poking" scenes, which broke through her sexy limits. "In the scene at home I wore a tank top and played video games was very reasonable and natural. I had to trust in the director to be able to do this." To Man Jat revealed that the director during the shoot had the "air conditioning blasting", forcing DaDa's outstanding "poking" effect.

In the "Guangxi Fancy Feast" scene "Guangxi mob boss" Ronald Cheng Chung Kei forced film producer To Man Jat into bestiality and eating wild game. It was both one of the film's climax and also his real life story. Pang Ho Cheung said that the incident hid in his mind for 10 years and finally was made into a movie; as for whether To Man Jat got intimate with the donkey, the audience was left with room for their own imagination. To Man Jat joked, "Before getting into the business I was a debt collector, once I collected a big debt. The boss was very happy, and treated us to wild game. He even said he booked a donkey for us to enjoy. However I like the movie was 'blacked out'. The later scene in which I found my memory was completely the director's creation."

The "man donkey intercourse" idea satirized the hardship behind how film producers made movies. To Man Jat lamented, "I have met a big director who was more grotesque than the donkey. He held the boss tight and said 'you are my red sun'. I have also heard a boss forced a big director to drink. After he drank he gave jobs to the several dozen people in the crew, which was very touching. At first I thought being a producer had a lot of benefits, like director Wong Jing at work was surrounded by girls. Maybe it's because I am broke, I still have to 'kiss up and take it from below'. However when I use an idea several dozen people can work and eat, I am very satisfied."

Chrissie Chau has no fear of Peeping Toms

Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Mini Yang Mi earlier in Sanya worked on the film HOLD JU OI (HOLD ON LOVE). Yang Mi fantasized about how Chau Sau Na would tempt her boyfriend Harwick Lau Hoi Wai in a mountain river bathing scene. Actually Chau Sau Na played Aphrodite who was saving the couple.

Chau Sau Na said that the water scene felt great. She was not afraid of peeping toms, but when she rested on land bugs would attack her. Even her toes were not spared as she had bug bites all over. Over 100 extras played natives and Chau Sau Na had their protection. "I felt like the Chocolate Clan leader at the coronation." Everyone enthusiastically asked for photos. Chau Sau Na joked that she really wanted chocolate when she saw the natives!

Greasy Chapman To decline to kiss Joey

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Diva Joey Yung Cho Yi earlier with producer Chapman To Man Jat talked about their new film DIVA. In the film Joey and Hu Ge had a kiss scene. Hu Ge once praised Joey's lips as soft. Joey said, "Actually that day was very cold, so cold that I was all stiff." Ah Jat was asked why he did not play Hu Ge's character? Ah Jat said, "I can't play it, not everyone can have a greasy diet." Joey struck back, "How greasy am I?" Ah Jat explained, "I said I am greasy!" Joey had kiss scenes with Eason Chan Yik Shun, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Raymond Lam Fung. She said that the kiss with Chan Yik Shun was more memorable. She said, "Because that kiss took place in broad daylight, many people were watching."

Joey's boyfriend Wilfred Lau Ho Lung also had a role in the new film and inevitably became the subject. Ah Jat was asked whether he witnessed the romance blossoming? He said, "If she wouldn't say something and I answer, then wouldn't I be quite a jerk?" Ah Jat said that he has produced 4 films, this was the happiest one. He also praised Joey as genuine. "The Joey I know is very genuine. She may not open up to you every second. Acting aside from making money is also a chance to open up your heart, a kind of release." Ah Jat praised Mag Lam Yun Tung for having a knack for acting. He said, "She knew how to act as soon as she was born, she was so smart. She knew what she was doing."

Carlos Chan clicks with Mag Lam

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Mag Lam Yun Tung in the Emperor Motion Picture DIVA played a couple with Carlos Chan Ka Lok. Although it was their first collaboration, they were full of chemistry. Their numerous intimate scenes were rather realistic. Mag said, "Actually before the shoot we were very embarrassed. Ka Lok and I before places asked each other 'do you mind'. We knew that everyone really wanted to make this movie good so we very quickly got into character. We trusted each other very much. I was very surprised that we felt like we have been dating for ten years."

Chan Ka Lok and Mag although had decent chemistry as a couple but they also had many bad takes. He said, "In one scene I chased Mag to the street and kissed her. Because the director wanted one straight take, we had over 20 bad takes. Our mouths were tired and dried, but for some reason Mag and I had a lot in common. Before the shoot we didn't know each other at all. We had no exchange at the first press conference. Yet another one shoot we were already holding hands, hugging and kissing. As soon as we took our marks we immediately had feeling."

Since they had such a chemical reaction from their first collaboration, would Ka Lok pursue Mag? Ka Lok joked, "Actually off camera I admire her daring attitude for music. I won't eliminate any chance to develop with her!"

Already having a rumored boyfriend Sheldon Lo (Law Hau Yung), Mag said, "Haha! Then I won't eliminate any chance of developing with Chan Ka Lok. (In the film your boyfriend's position was lower than yours, would you be able to accept that in real life?) Of course, when you truly love someone, no one can replace him. Even if his position is lower than mine, you can see his backbone and will!"

Avis Chan makes up to Chrissie Chau for working with Mia

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Chrissie Chau Sau Na's boyfriend Avis Chan Wai Sing and Model Ma Mia Chen Jing Yi had many bed scenes in their new film LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI OI YEH PO 2). All the winking back and forth they were linked together in gossip. Avis was not afraid of Mia's jealousy when he praised his girlfriend CHau Sau Na. He said, "She has high emotional quotient, which I trained. I admired her 'Chau Sau Na' spirit the most. She not only worked hard, but also because she didn't want to worry anyone around her she would stay tough and never complain." He also said that their personalities were close so they rarely argued.

Although Avis on the LAN 2 set was lucky, he admitted that he did not know about the set operation details. A car window breaking scene ended up "bloody". He said, "Originally the hand had to be made up like it was bleeding, but it was really injured. However acting was truly a lot of fun." Mia understood that some did not appreciate her taking the sexy route as a mother, but off camera she was a kind mother and revealed that she had a headache over her children's summer lives. "I am busy with film promotion, I can only help them enroll in music and taekwondo courses to pass time. Maybe later I will go to Japan with them."

Mia said that she was willing to make money by baring flesh, her biggest motivation was to improve the children's lives. Did she regret that she became a mother too soon? She said, "Absolutely not! My friends said since I had them early I could ditch them early. If all goes as planned I never thought about having another." Mia mentioned her father's passing from cancer last year, which stressed her mentally and made her once thought about quitting show business. "Ultimately my family has never given me any pressure, instead they have been very supportive."

Steven Ma Uses Bugs Zapper as Badminton Racket

Friday, August 10, 2012 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Steven Ma has always loved sports, especially badminton. His enthusiasm for badminton is so 'feverish' that he would not forgo any available spare time playing badminton even when at Hengdian shooting a series. (May-July). In between shooting scenes, he would use this free time to practice badminton strokes with an electric bugs zapper. With the bugs zapper in his hand, he had a game going, now 'killing the shuttlecock', now 'backhanding the shuttlecock', thoroughly enjoying his badminton fix. What's so amusing is that his immersion in his pretend game was so total, it incurred other workers' snickers at seeing him so, but ignoring all, Steven continued to do his own thing.

When showed this set of photos as proof, Steven did not mind at all, and even admitted his guilt with a smile:

"People who know me know that I like to play badminton. Whenever I've free time I'll drag my friends to play badminton with me. During the time in Hengdian, the days had turned hot and humid so lots of mosquitoes and flies so I would bring the bugs zapper everywhere with me. Besides using it to zap the bugs, in between shooting scenes, I could use it to mimic badminton strokes and moves. People thought I had gone mad. Actually, waiting to shoot my scene, I was just looking for some self-entertainment; this is what is called "using a product to the max."

When the talk turns to Olympics, Steven was full of enthusiasm: "Besides studying the script, and preparing the September new series, I also watch my most beloved badminton games. I didn't even have time to sleep. Need to support both national and Hong Kong teams ma. Women's doubles took the gold, women's singles both gold and silver, men's singles, Lin Dan, took the gold. And also there are the women's volleyball, and table tennis to watch. But watching the Olympics games makes my "hands itched", so when have the time I'll immediately called up friends to play badminton".

As a badminton buff, he is naturally attentive to badminton news, among them is the disqualification of the Chinese women's doubles team of Wang Xiao Li and Yu Yang from Olympics. Steven feels that is very unfortunate: "I know these two athletes. We are friends. In spirit, I still support them, and hope that they will not quit badminton, but will continue to play and get even better results in the future. Actually, through the years I've gotten know many mainland and Hong Kong athletes and know that they work really hard, and that they have expended much blood, sweat, tears and physical efforts and spirit into their sports. That's why all along I always respect and love them, and hope that every one of them, regardless medaling or not, so long he/she has done his/her best, that's enough. Frankly, having watched Olympics all these years, regardless the Olympians medaled or not, in my heart, they are all awesome. But what I want to emphasize most is this: medaling or not is not important because what they have given out (tn: of themselves and to their sport) is already the biggest harvest."

Those who have played badminton with Steven know that his techniques are not bad. This reporter heard in September Hong Kong badminton platform has an upcoming big event:

"Chinese Badminton Open competition ma; already sign up. This is my first time participating in an open competition. But don't know if the date will clash with my work schedule or not; hopefully it won't. If schedules clashed then I can't do it. So feeling a bit nervous here. Actually in recent years I've been playing with former Hong Kong national team members and Hong Kong coach(es), and they practise continually with me to help me improve my game. Participating in competition, win or not, not that important; most important is the participation itself, and that the whole competition process can help improve one's progress; that, will give me the most satisfaction."

National sports team members, win or lose, I love you all, regardless.

Ella Koon did not kick Fiona Sit out of Warner Music

Posted by Admin 0 comments
It was rumored Ella Koon signed a three year contract with Warner for HK$6 million, a super low price, and successfully kicked Fiona Sit out of the company. She'll be joining Warner and become their new Big Sister. Yesterday she attended fashion brand TITICACA's new store opening ceremony with colleagues from Warner and her old company. She announced she has officially joined Warner: "I'm very pleased with the price, but I don't want to say what it is. After all, my company and I are happy with the contract."

Ella frankly expressed she did not know Fiona was leaving Warner when she signed with them: "I actually thought I'll get collaborate with her. We debuted together, and have chemistry. I'm happy for her too, that she found a new direction in her career." It was rumored she got a 'super low' company transfer fee, and then successfully kicked Fiona Sit out. Warner's promotion staff immediately helped her explain, stressing that Ella joining the company has nothing to do with Fiona's departure. Ella is not worried joining Warner will affect her relationship with TVB. She said: "We have a good relationship. TVB gives me a lot of opportunities, and my new series Highs and Lows is airing soon too. (Worried you may not be able to participate in the promotions or your scenes may get cut?) Leave that to TVB! 80% of my scenes are with Raymond Lam, so I don't think it will be cut." When speaking of Ella's post on Weibo earlier, where she brings up her past relationship with Ron Ng, yesterday she expressed people need to move forward in life and she has no comment on it.

Fala Chen prohibits anyone with garlic smell to get near her

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Yesterday Fala Chen attended an event for toothpaste brand Colgate. When asked if she wants her boyfriend to brush his teeth before he kisses her? Fala said embarrassingly: "I don't know how to answer. Usually I brush once in the morning and once at night. Sometimes, I brush after having hot pot too. I hate the smell of garlic, so anyone who had garlic, don't get near me. I won't be able to handle it." Fala is currently busy shooting new series Triumph in the Skies II, and will have kiss scenes with both Francis Ng and Chilam Cheung. She joked she'll bring toothpaste with her for the cast to use.

When speaking of a recent magazine report saying that she was displeased with the songs in her debut album, all being adaptations of Mandarin songs, so she called the boss of her record company and scolded him. Fala expressed: "The songs in my album were chosen by my company. It's not related, there was one song written by a friend and the majority of them were chosen by my company." Will she ask her boyfriend, Neway Prince Sit Sai Hang, to help her sign a new contract? "They are two different companies. My management is TVB, I don't want to go through a huge circle. It's already enough that he spiritually supports me." Although her current singing contract is about to expire, she believes she'll definitely have the chance to release a second album in the future.

I will definitely ask Bobby Au-Yeung, and maybe try Louis Koo. I'll try to kneel down and beg him, maybe he'll come back then. He still has a contract with TVB anyway!" But as for herself, Jessica said she's still discussing a contract with TVB: "We're still discussing, it's going to be a per-series contract and the sequel is one of the attractions."

Also, Joe attended The Bourne Legacy film premiere with his wife and son. He expressed it is still not confirm whether Tiger Cubs will shoot a sequel or film version, but there are already companies willing to invest into producing the film and asked him to participated in the production side of it.

Wong Jing to produce a TVB series starring Deanie Ip

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The free-to-air TV licenses are delayed time after time. It was said the government won't be issuing the licenses to CTI, nowTV and iCable until mid 2013, so the big TV competition will not happen until next year. CTI is preparing to use Police Boundaries starring Dominic Lam and Liu Kai Chi as their first series to kickoff the new TV station and nowTV invited golden producer Lau Kar Ho to produce a series starring Charmaine Sheh. Facing such strong competition, TVB invited Wong Jing back to make a grand production for them and even invited Venice Film Queen Deanie Ip as the lead actress.

Since Wong Jing left his maternal home (TVB), he had a very successful development in the film scene and even if former TVB boss Mona Fong invited him back to be their executive producer several times, he did not budge. It wasn't until his old classmate Chan Kwok Keung took over TVB, that he was willing to come back and produce a 40 episode modern series for them. The lead actress is expected to be film queen Deanie Ip; Wong Jing also hopes to cast Mainland newcomer Kimmy Tong, TVB Siu Sang Kenneth Ma and Hawick Lau, who recently got popular in Mainland. It was said Deanie Ip's per-episode salary will be HK$250,000.

Wong Jing's TVB series revolving around family revenge

Yesterday reporters contacted Wong Jin to confirm. He admitted that he'll be helping TVB produce a series: "Yes, TVB invested into my company to shoot a series revolving around family drama and revenge. I asked her (Deanie) to play the head of the household role and Kimmy Tong will be her adopted daughter. Kenneth Ma and Hawick Lau are candidates I have in mind as well. I already did preliminary discussions with Deanie. We're still in the process of preparing this production. I'll talk more about it when things are more mature!" Kimmy Tong is a 21 year old new generation Mainland goddess that Wong Jing has been promoting. He is very supportive of this young woman, earlier she was casted in Tycoon (大上海) alongside Chow Yun Fat. This time, Wong Jing plans to cast her again as Deanie Ip's daughter.

CTI hopes for a smooth start next year, the current plan is to start the TV station off with Dominic Lam and Liu Kai Chi's new series Police Boundaries. CTI's spokesperson (Jessie) said yesterday: "We are expecting to start the station next year, and hope to produce even more high quality programs for viewers to choose. We just completed two series and next month two more series will start."

nowTV to counterattack using Charmaine Sheh

nowTV recently recruited former TVB golden producers Miu Siu Ching and her husband Lau Kar Ho to their company. nowTV has already put out an order for Lau Kar Ho to produce a grand production starring Charmaine Sheh to counterattack the other TV stations. Yesterday Lau Kar Ho said: "We're still in the stage of drafting the script now. Because it's a joint collaboration, we have to wait for the script to be delivered to us from Mainland before we can officially start shooting. The candidates to be casted in this series has not been set yet, but Charmaine is a good actress, of course I don't rule out the chances that she may take part in this production!"

'Tiger Cubs' Records a Special for Finale; Surprise Crossover with 'All Star World Exam'

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Last night TVB recorded two shows Tiger Cubs: Final Mission and All Star World Exam, so it was especially lively in the makeup room. The two shows even did a crossover promotion together. Joe Ma, Jessica Hsuan, Kenneth Ma, JJ Jia, Him Law, Vincent Wong and Benjamin Yuen were in the middle of taking a large group picture, but coincidentally Grasshopper were in the studio preparing to start their show. Dressed in SDU uniforms, Joe led his team into the studio where Grasshopper was and surprised the live studio audience. Everyone cheered at the sight of the SDU team.

Recently the Olympics have stolen a lot of the TVB audience and the finale of Tiger Cubs is airing this Sunday. Last night, the cast recorded a special edition Tiger Cubs: Final Mission, is this suppose to help boost the ratings? Jessica said: "Tiger Cubs's ratings has been doing well all along. There is a slight slide, but its related to the Olympics." The other TV station (ATV) got zero points in the ratings? "It is also because of the Olympics, not related to us."

Joe is happy that Tiger Cubs gets a two hour finale and a special, he feels the series is heavily valued. When asked if there's going to be a sequel or a film version of the series? Joe said: "We'll have to see how TVB arranges it. I hope to shoot a sequel too." Jessica said the sequel will only be perfect if its with the original cast and when the time comes, she can take out her 'friendship cards' to get guest stars, such as in this one, Kenneth Ma appears again in the finale, not many people can see his evil side.

Kenneth and JJ Jia had rumors before when they were shooting this series. That night, JJ exposed Kenneth saw her ugly "pizza face" look in the series and still comforted her by calling her a pretty girl. She felt very happy when she heard this. Kenneth was teased that he should start pursuing JJ, who had just fallen out of love. JJ laughed: "You all should just write it like that, but after the series ends, don't mention it again." Kenneth joked that JJ really knows how to make use of the media for promotions. When JJ heard this, she was frightened and quickly denied. When asked if she dislikes Kenneth? She said: "No, I can't match him, he's the biggest 'seun poon' in the city."

Also, Kenneth was on a radio interview and clarified the rumors with his co-star Myolie Wu from new series Seasons of Love. He praised Myolie's professionalism and that her emotions has not affected her acting, so there is no need to comfort her. When asked if its finally a dream come true for him, that he has rumors? Kenneth said: "The rumors are nothing unusual. I saw the pictures on the magazine, its all just from the series. Myolie and I were looking through the magazine, she didn't care about the content, just if the pictures look good or not. I said they're all pictures from the series, of course it all looks good, no need to worry. There are many Bosco Wong and Myolie fans wanting the two to get back together and I'm sure the media is just worried about them, I don't dare to get in between them. I'm afraid the next rumor will say Myolie broke up with Bosco because of me and I'll become a sinner. It's too dangerous to comment too much now. Our rumor has been going on for a few days, time will prove everything." He also exposed after 8 years, he finally gets to 'date' Myolie in the new series. Although Kenneth is known as the 'seun poon' #2, he sighed he still doesn't have anyone he's interested in.

Janet Chow risks miscarriage, asks Chris Lai to carry her

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Yesterday Wayne Lai, Kent Cheng, Kristal Tin, Janet Chow, Chris Lai, Elaine Yiu, Pierre Ngo and Natalie Tong appeared in their ancient costumes for the promotion of TVB new series King Maker. Lead actors Wayne and Kent put in the most effort into the promotion. Aside from arm wrestling each other, the two played tug-a-war with Kristal and Elaine. Everyone was worried about the pregnant Janet Chow, although Chris took good care of her, she saw the cast having so much fun playing and she wanted to join too, so she asked Chris to carry her. Wonder if her husband Timmy Hung will freak out when he sees that.

Yesterday Janet's growing belly was much more visible than her last public appearance. She said: "My stomach is growing fast. Friends have told me not to eat too much. Timmy is currently out working, as his wife, I don't want him to worry. Last night, I had dinner at Charmaine Sheh's house with a large group of friends. I chatted with Annie Man about our pregnancy experiences and even went shopping online for baby products. (Does Charmaine envy you?) I don't know, but I did urge her to start dating soon, but I won't introduce any guys to her because it feels awkward." Janet reveals her expected due date is February 5, 2013. She already chose the date to get a C-section, but if she's due earlier, she will go for a natural birth.

As the cast for King Makers is similar to The Greatness of a Hero? Wayne said: "Because there is a shortage of artists at TVB, but the story is different. This time Kent and I will have a lot of battle of wits scenes. He's the evil one, and I'm the good guy. (Film King challenges TV King?) Of course, the co-star is very important. Kent is very talented."

Joey Yung teaches Hu Ge to play dumb

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The Joey Yung Cho Yi starred DIVA last night held its premiere. She with Chapman To Man Jat, Hu Ge, Mag Lam Yun Tung and Carlos Chan Ka Lok attended. Joey's boyfriend Wilfred Lau Ho Lung was also a part of the film but has been absent from all promotions, seemingly to avoid sharing the stage with Joey. Joey said that she did not mind who was standing next to her.

Hu Ge said that this production was not fun enough. Did he think his role was too small? He denied that, did he want to lengthen his intimate scene with Joey? He said, "Intimacy was enough, with additional scenes I am afraid that I would fall for her." Speaking of Joey and Lau Ho Lung's romance, Hu Ge admitted that he had no idea and joked that he would ask her when he had a chance. Later when he posed for photos with Joey, he truly asked Joey, "I have a question to ask you." Joey immediately winked at Hu Ge in a hilarious manner.

Joey was dressed in black. Did Lau Ho Lung look it over? She said, "No need!" As for Hu Ge's fear of falling for her, Joey said that he was very handsome. Speaking of Hu Ge not knowing about her romance, Joey joked, "I told him to say I don't know to everything." Why did she not telling others? She asked reporters, "Why should I? (Share the joy!) Do we need to?" Why was Si Hing missing? Joey pointed out that he was working. If the company arranged for them to promote together, would she accept that? Joey said, "I will worry about it when it happens. (Are you avoiding to share the stage?) No."

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung yesterday came in support. When asked whether he and Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi got back together, he said, "No." Yet he admitted that they spent a day together as a family. As for the chance of getting back together, Ting Fung immediately shook his head. Yesterday an internet search of Albert Yeung Sau Sing's information mentioned his ties with the underworld. Yeung Sau Sing said that he has already given the matter to the lawyers to handle.
