Daniel Wu plays matchmaker for unborn daughter
Friday, December 21, 2012
Hong Kong heartthrob Daniel Wu and model wife Lisa S. will be
welcoming the arrival of their baby girl in June next year, but the anxious
father-to-be has already selected a potential mixed-blood boyfriend for his
unborn daughter.
Daniel struck a friendship with Chinese co-actor
Liu Ye during the production of their new movie, The Last
Supper. They soon became buddies and had verbally agreed to play
matchmakers for their children.
The 38-year-old said that he was looking forward to becoming
in-laws with Liu Ye but he has not discussed it with his wife yet.
Liu Ye immediately posted a photo of himself and Daniel, making
a "pinky promise" via his microblog update that night.
He mentioned in joy, "Signed and sealed. This
promise remains intact and valid for 100 years!"
When Daniel and Lisa announced in early December that they are be expecting a girl, the Chinese actor was delighted and became keen to recommend his two-year-old French-Chinese son to their unborn daughter.
