The finalists for this year’s Singapore Asian Television Awards 2012 (ATA) were announced today Nov. 12th by organising publication Television Asia Plus. A total of 248 entries spanning 13 countries have been short-listed for the 17th Annual Presentation of the region’s prestigious industry honours. This year’s entries surpassed those in 2011, with more than 1,300 submissions received across various television genres and performance categories. Over the months 48 specialist judges from 12 countries have viewed the entries with final results being audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mark your calendar! The 17th Asian Television Awards Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony is set for Thursday, December 6 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore
This year three TVB artists made it on the nominations.
Moses Chan (When Heaven Burns) - Best Actor in a Leading Role
Nancy Wu (Gloves Come Off) - Best Actress in a Supporting Role
Wong Cho Lam (Super Snoops) - Best Comedy Performance By An Actor
