William So sues mortgage agency for publishing pictures of his home without his consent

Yesterday William So revealed on Weibo that RicaCorp Mortgage Agency took pictures of his entire house and published it on some real estate magazine without his consent. Rica Corp did not have any sincerity to resolve the issue and even lied to conceal their fault. William finally decided to seek legal assistance from his lawyer. He expressed the incident involves a property he owns in Pok Fu Lam. "I wanted to rent out my home and had three real estate companies help me do it. However, on the contract it was written clearly that I just want to rent the home and there could only be advertisements in writing. I never thought Rica Corp would publish all of my pictures to advertise on some magazine. They also wrote I wanted to sell my home for HK$18 million. That is completely the opposite of what was said in the contract. I am not selling my home. It is misleading!"
William expressed he asked the company for an apology, but they were unwilling to face the problem. I had no other choice but to take legal action. If I don't get a reasonable explanation, I plan to file a complaint with the Estate Agents Authority.
Reporters contacted Rica Corp Mortgage Agency, the company's spokesperson from public relations expressed: "There was miscommunication between Rica Corp and the magazine. We are currently working hard with them to find a solution."
