Two nights ago, Gary Chaw Sensational Sound Concert 2012 was held at the Hong Kong Coliseum, his special guests includes Gin Lee, David Wong, Li Quan and Wang Fu as they sang many Mandarin and English songs of different version.

Those who went to support him includes his boss Steven Lo Kit Sing, Andy Lau, Maggie Fu and his wife was among the audience thus when fellow label mate Gin Lee took the initiative to kiss him after a duet, he quipped that his wife was here.

As his idol Andy came to support him, Gary was moved as he revealed onstage that Andy once invited him to be the special performing artist for his concert, however he fall sick and unable to be his guest which was a regret for him. He then dedicate the song ‘Ming Xing’ to Andy and exclaimed that Andy is his most beloved male. Gary said: “I wanted to thank one person, he once invited me to sing at his concert, in the end? I fall sick! I missed the chance of my life that time….however today I’m standing on the stage in the Hong Kong Coliesum, I wanted to sing this song for everybody. My most beloved male, Mr. Andy Lau.” Andy stood up to applause and return him with flying kisses.

When Gary released his first album and came to Hong Kong for promotion, Andy who admired his singing always gave him encouragement as a senior. However Gary’s image went downturn after a brawl with Justin Lo in 2009 when he was drunk, Andy also advised him: “If you can’t change, then quit showbiz.” These words completely changed him from using alcohol to ease his pressure.

When asked by reporters if he seize the chance to congratulate Andy of becoming a father, Gary exclaimed: “The whole world will congratulate him!”
