Aaron Kowk hope to have more screen time with Andy

Crime thriller Cold War held its press conference in Beijing as it would hit the cinemas on National Day 1 October 2012. The cast which includes Aaron Kowk, Tony Leung Kar Fai, Aarif Rahman Lee, Eddie Peng Yu-yen were present. Andy Lau who cameo in the film also specially flew to Beijing to make an appearance.Andy took up the role of Chief of Security Bureau, he expressed that initially it was not a cameo, however his wife got pregnant when shooting due to start, with hope of spending more time to accompany his family, he could only do his part by cameo in the film to show support for newbie directors Liang Yue-ming and Sunny Luk. Andy said: “Although this is the first film by the two directors, but they are very experienced, I would like to use my abilities to express this good story. Around 1 year ago, the director approached me and I’m interested to take up one of the vice chief character, but due to family matters, I told that that I couldn’t make it and could only stay in Hong Kong to cameo.”
It had been 19 years since the two heavenly kings collaborated in a film, Aaron express his delight to be able to collaborate with Andy, but he complained that Andy had too little screen time and he hope that he could have more scenes with Andy in their next collaboration. Aaron described: “It’s a great collaboration, hope the audience will enjoy the film.” Tony who was standing by the side quipped: “I thought you was saying that Andy had too few children, should have more children next time round. Only know about commenting others, what about yourself?”
After the press conference, when reporters asked when Aaron would become a father, which he expressed that he does not understand the reporters’ question. Tony then came to his aid by saying: “He’s doing his best, all for the sake of his child, he’s a man with planning.” Aaron then added: “Correct, if I become a father now, the child might complained that I’m not successful, as I’m only 50% successful.
