The Deanie Ip Tak Han and Andy Lau Tak Wa starred, Ann Hui On Wa directed film A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH) has received numerous awards and recently won overseas again. At the 10th Festival Paris Cinema it won Audience Prize and Student Prize. Nine students formed the student prize jury. With the film festival chair's assistant it selected the prize winning film.

A SIMPLE LIFE was chosen out of 1100 films to compete in the international competition again 8 other full length features. Hui On Wa was particularly happy about winning the Audience Prize. She said, "The film is able to move the audience in a place as far as France, it is very rare."
