This is the first anniversary of Raymond Lam and Mavis Pan's 'bed photo scandal'. However, Raymond still hasn't moved away from the 'Mavis Pan Haze'. Yesterday he attended the FILMART press conference, where Mavis Pan was suppose to represent the film Supermodel (名模) and promotional activities for the film were also scheduled at the same time. The two became the center of attention. However, Supermodel promotions suddenly were cancelled. It was rumored TVB pressured FILMART to delay the film's promotions. Mavis was absent from the event to avoid embarrassment. Raymond steps into the 'home ground' and it was still an unforgettable experience for him that exactly 1 year ago, he was at this same location being bombarded by the media of Mavis Pan's questions.
Raymond was asked about the cancellation of Mavis Pan's Supermodel promotion activities? He said: "Really? Did you all forget you asked me this same question a year ago?) [March 2011, the Raymond/Mavis 'bed scandal' broke out, 5 days later, he appeared at the FILMART event and that day, it was rumored Mavis was to crash the scene.] Raymond took initiative to talk about his experience last year. He said he does not know if Mavis cancelled the promotions to avoid him. He said: "That is not my business, hope her work is going well. (Were you worried before she might crash the scene?) If we do bump into one another, we will still nodd and greet each other. The incident is already the past, we are both working hard on our own jobs. We are two separate individuals." It was also rumored TVB put pressured on FILMART to delay the promotions? Raymond said TVB will have to answer that question, but he does not agree that he's stepped on 'home ground'. It is a structured and public event. He personally hasn't given much thought on if they'll be at the event together or not. It's already been a year, so he does not want to be troubled by the same issue. He said after they broke up, they have focused on their own work and have not met. If they do meet again, there is no need to feel embarrassed.
Raymond will be heading out to Australia to do his concert tour, but his earlier leg injuries have not recovered yet. Asked how he'll be dancing with a painful leg? He said he's currently thinking about how to overcome the pain. In the last 3 years, he had a chance to hold a HK Coliseum concert, but this year because the end of the year HK Coliseum schedule is full, he will not be able to hold his 4th concert until early next year. This will allow him more time to prepare.
