Jordan Chan receives constant harassment through phone of insults and threats

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Recently, Jordan Chan has been harassed over the phone from two Mainlanders of unknown locations. The callers used profanity to insult Jordan and even threatened him. Jordan couldn't help but vent through Weibo that he never harmed anyone, why did those people have to target him!

The telephone harassment started last Wednesday night, Jordan made the two Mainland phone numbers public on Weibo and asked if anyone knew the people with these numbers. In one call, the person used profanity to insult him, making Jordan extremely upset. The next evening, Jordan received another SMS from a different phone number, the person threatened him: "If a person is given a chance and still don't know, then don't blame us for retaliating! When I send you this SMS, I didn't give out your number to anyone, but later...since I have so much time, I'll give you an ending that you want and I'll welcome an intense farce."

This terrifying SMS greatly angered Jordan. As a result, he made the phone number and SMS public on his Weibo and commented: "(1) Retaliation ~~~ I never caused any harm to you guys? What do you need to retaliate? (2) Give my phone number to anybody? For what reason? (3) Since I have so much time? Then go find a yourself a career. (4) And you welcome an intense farce? Why me? For what reason? I hate it when others treat me (mother) something... something."

After the incident, Jordan's fans were very emotional and madly went to investigate the origin of those two numbers. They plan to report the case to the Public Security too.

Jordan responded through his management (Ms. Lee): "I currently have not considered reporting to Public Security because I don't feel its life threatening. The two callers kept bothering me, but I really don't know them." Ms. Lee was asked if Jordan will be extra cautious? She said: "The management will tell him to be careful and we are concern of his security. Jordan didn't offend anyone, so it is not necessary to have any fear. The two callers are currently calling him nonstop and if this goes on, we will advise Jordan to get a new number."

Jet Li: Tsui Hark is not the devil

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit) and Zhou Xun starred 3D film FLYING SWORDS OF DRAGON GATE (LUNG MOON FEI GAP) yesterday held a press conference and premiere in Macau. Director Tsui Hark led the cast to appear at the event. Zhang Yimou earlier locked in reporters to prevent them from covering Tsui Hark and Johnnie To Kei Fung's new film promotions. Tsui Hark yesterday said that the society stressed harmony but he could not understand why the film industry would be so explosive. FLYING's selling point was the Mainland's first 3D film. Yesterday the cast gathered in Macau to promote. Lee Nin Kit led Zhou Xun, Kwai Lun-Mei and others to the event. Director Tsui Hark said that he would be able to bring 3D film into a new territory. He ambitiously said, "I hope Chinese film can head toward the entire world!"

Speaking of the competition, Zhang Yimou's FLOWERS OF WAR was accused of trapping the media at its event with a buffet to drive out Tsui Hark and To Kei Fung's new films. Tsui Hark said, "I feel very honored to be in the same period as Zhang Yimou, but I feel the society stresses harmony. I don't know why this industry is so explosive!" In addition, many behind the scene said Tsui Hark the Devil because he forced actors to train hard for fight scenes. Tsui Hark responded, "Actually I am worse than the Devil. Although I can use stunt doubles, I hope the use of 3D can be gratifying visually so I arranged for the actors to personally perform."

Speaking of many 3D films appearing overseas but this was only the first for the Mainland, Tsui Hark believed that the nation will catch and will continue to make 3D films. He said, "I am looking at scripts right now." As for Lee Nin Kit's rumored 100 million in salary, he had no comment. He only said, "I don't know. You have to ask Boss Yu Dong. Since I started production late I only took half the salary."

Speaking of the 100 million, Lee Nin Kit asked the media where they heard it from. He said, "This is just a rumor that goes back and forth." As for charging international superstar salary, he replied, "U.S. dollar is losing value, RMB is on the rise." Once he said that he would focus on charity, Lee Nin Kit hoped that the cultural broadcast would be a part of charity. He said, "Thus I would promote with Tai Chi, I wish for health and happiness for everyone." How will he spend the Christmas holiday? He admitted that he will rest. Speaking of the crew calling Tsui Hark the Devil, Lee Nin Kit spoke up for his friend. He said, "I have worked with Tsui Hark for years. Film production of course requires real kung fu. Some people now are comfortable with modern films so they are not used to wu xia films." Zhou Xun stressed that this was her first wu xia film and injury was inevitable for her. She said, "With action scenes everyday, I had to be careful and take care of my body. (With your character's similarities to Invincible Asia did you study Brigitte Lin?) Although I have seen it, I didn't study it because mine is an all new character." Clashing with her own film THE GREAT MAGICIAN (DAI MOR SHOOK SI) head on, Zhou Xun said, "Many people ask, but I am neither worried nor scared. Good box office is good for the actors too."

Lau Ching Wan fends off enemies with duck legs

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Lau Ching Wan and Zhou Xun in the film THE GREAT MAGICIAN (DAI MOR SHOOK SI) battled villains Black Eagles. Ching Wan turned into God of War as he wield the latest and the most powerful weapon "roast duck leg" against the killer in black; Wai Jai battled back with magic and created a magical staff style of his own.

Ching Wan said that when director Derek Yee Tung Sing explained this scene to him, he asked him to use the "roast duck leg" as a weapon. He thought he was joking. Then on the set when the crew handed him with roast duck legs he realized that it was true. With dug legs in hand, Ching Wan wielded his "weapon" like Bruce Lee with nunchukus. Wai Jai added magic in his stunt. He pointed out that kung fu and magic both could easily attract the attention of the audience, but in the film world they rarely merged. Wai Jai and Ching Wan both complimented Yee Tung Sing's creativity.

Candy Yu steals the show from Zhou Xun

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The world's first 3D wu xia film FLYING SWORDS OF DRAGON GATE (LUNG MOON FEI GAP 3D) two nights ago held its premiere in Macau. Director Tsui Hark and the cast including Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit), Zhou Xun, Chen Kun, Chris Lee Yuchun, and Kwai Lun-Mei walked the red carpet together. Lead actors Lee Nin Kit and Chen Kun both wore black suits. Lee Nin Kit had a pair of sunglasses and was full of star power. Lead actresses Zhou Xun and Lee Yuchun appeared in blue and red, but they could not rival guest Candy Yu On On's fire.

With a lot of performance experience Lee Yuchun and Chen Kun fought over the new comer title. Lee Yuchun said that she was the newest among the cast, but Chen Kun said that he was a 3D film new comer. Lee Yuchun pointed out that working with a group of experienced actors was stressful for her, but fortunately she learned a lot during the process. She thought while making a movie her body had to handle a lot, which was very different from singing. In the film she had to wield a 30 catty Guan Blade. After every training her arms would be very tired. Later she even discovered that she had "little mice" in her arms. In the film Lee Yuchun fought with Mavis Fan Hiu Huen for Chen Kun, finally Lee Yuchun ended up with him. Would Yuchun fight for someone she likes in real life? She said that she has always been more passive. This time she played the character in the film.

How many points would Chen Kun give Lee Yuchun? Chen Kun praised this new comer for being a pleasant surprise for everyone. However he joked that once he and the crew watched Yuchun sing on television and thought that she looked very handsome when she sang. They could not help but sent her praises via text messages. When Yuchun returned to the set he thought she was completely different. Chen Kun also said that he already saw FLYING in the Beijing premiere and described it as "shocking".

Kwai Lun-Mei this time in the film played a tough character. Some said that she originally wanted to play Fan Hiu Huen's gentler character. Kwai Lun_Mei denied that and said that she wanted to try different characters. She joked that perhaps the director saw STOOL PIGEON (SIN YUN) and thought that she could play tough too. In the film she had many action scenes, which were the greatest challenges in her career because she had to wield many large weapons. Did she want to shake off that pristine image with this film? She said that it was not deliberate, as she took roles naturally.

Zhang Xinyu gets around

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Mainland star Zhang Xinyu two nights ago kept hugging guys at Central for her new film. First she whispered to the married Lok Wing then hug EO2 member Osman. However yesterday when she worked in Television City, perhaps because she was close to Ron Ng Cheuk Hei's "turf" she was more alert.

Zhang Xinyu has caused a storm in the city when she posted her bed photo on Ng Cheuk Hei's microblog. For days she has been working on her new film I LOVE HONG KONG 2012 (2012 NGOR OI HK HEI SEUNG GA HEI). Two nights ago she and Bosco Wong Chung Chak, Mag Lam Yun Tung, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Samantha Ko Hoi Ning, and Maggie Siu Mei Kei performed a big musical number at Central.

Arriving late, Zhang Xinyu stayed warm in a big coat and often drank hot beverage when she was not working. She revealed that she was cold and tired from working all day. She also had a little flu but kept her mouth shut about Ng Cheuk Hei. Later during the shoot she acted enthusiastic, when she danced with the married Lok Wing, they whispered many times and hug. Then she hug EO2 member Osman, which ade him very happy. Ko Hoi Ning appeared in a low cut dress and displayed her three inch career line. When she saw Alvina Kong Yun Yin kneeling on the ground, she attentively loaned her a scarf to keep warm.

Yesterday, Zhang Xinyu with her assistant appeared near Stephen Shiu Jr's production company and asked reporters. "How do you know I would be here? (Audition?) I don't know yet! (Do you need to be sexy?) No!" After 45 minutes Zhang Xinyu left mysteriously and continued to work in Television City. Justin Cheung King Sing who auditioned with her said, "Our exchange was OK! (Would you loan her your microblog?) No! Although we have the same last name and are extra familiar, but during the audition I held on tight to my personal phone."

Abandoning his good image, Raymond Wong brutally toys with female hearts

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Normally portraying straightforward and righteous roles, Raymond Wong’s breakthrough can be observed in TVB new series, Bottled Passion <我的如意狼君>, in which he toys mercilessly with female hearts. Through this gray character bordering between evil and good, Raymond hoped to change his career path in acting.

Although basically good in nature, Raymond Wong’s character in Bottled Passion brutally leveraged female affections to fulfill his revenge plan. “This character, which borders on being evil and good, assists Niki Chow’s revenge plan by using Elaine Yiu and Katy Kung. The character will dabble in numerous romantic gestures to win their affections.”

Noting that his role in Bottled Passion was a big challenge, Raymond said, “Many scenes are quite romantic; however, I morph into another person revealing my dark motives in scenes that follow. I want to portray villains, as I have acted too many righteous characters in the past. Last year, my roles as filial and good characters were well received. Since my image is accepted by the audience, I can try to change the type of characters I play.”

The audience was able to feel that Raymond Wong pushed his limits as the cruel anti-hero in Bottled Passion. Asked whether he was concerned that his good image will be destroyed, Raymond said, “No, I am unafraid since it is only acting. In addition, the audience has already accepted me. I portrayed an uncouth character in When Lanes Merge <情越雙白線>, in which I ultimately changed for the better. This is similar to my role in Bottled Passion. The character is quite tragic, eliciting a profound effect; the audience enjoys watching it.” Raymond revealed that Bottled Passion’s script editor was a woman, thus the story focused on women and depicted the female perspective on men.

Despite impressing women in Bottled Passion, Raymond said that he was unromantic in real life. Due to his hectic work schedule, he did not spend too much time with his wife. Regarding Benny Chan and Joe Ma’s drunken kisses with Rose Chan earlier in Hengdian, China, it was noted that Raymond had frequently traveled there in the past to film movies. Was his wife worried at the time? Raymond replied, “Since we have been together for 10 years, my wife is not worried. We met at work. During filming, I will not drink and or go out after hours.”

Michelle Yim Replaces Maggie Cheung in “Big Eunuch”

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
Producer Law Wing Yin announced that Michelle Yim has joined the cast of one of TVB’s heavyweight dramas next year, Big Eunuch <大太監>. Michelle replaced Maggie Cheung in the role of Empress Dowager Cixi. Producer Law indicated that the casting change was due to Maggie’s scheduling conflict and will not affect the filming progress of Big Eunuch.

Yesterday, Wayne Lai, Raymond Wong, and Raymond Cho shaved their heads for filming, as the men will portray eunuchs in the Qing era drama. Although it was announced earlier that Maggie Cheung would portray Empress Dowager Cixi, a last minute casting change was made to replace her with Michelle Yim. In last year’s sales presentation video clip for Big Eunuch, Michelle had appeared as Empress Cixi. Maggie Shiu will portray the role of Empress Ci’an.

Contacted by reporters, Producer Law Wing Yin confirmed that Michelle Yim will portray Empress Cixi. “The casting has been finalized. Michelle is a wonderful candidate for the role! She is currently in mainland China and will return to Hong Kong within the next two weeks to start filming Big Eunuch.” (Why was Maggie Cheung unable to film for the series?) “It was due to a scheduling conflict. Big Eunuch will film through April 2012, which would conflict with Maggie’s other scheduled work engagements in the interim. Today was the first day filming took place inside the studio, thus the impact will not be significant.”

It was reported earlier that Ruco Chan would portray an eunuch in Big Eunuch, but he was no longer part of the final cast list. Producer Law indicated that it was due to deployment of staff, as Ruco was expected to film another drama in January.

Currently filming in Wuxi, China, Michelle Yim responded in a telephone interview that she has been busy filming in mainland China this year. Big Eunuch was scheduled to film on location in Hengdian, China in March 2012, upon which Michelle noted that she was accustomed [to hectic filming schedules]. Since Michelle portrayed Empress Dowager Cixi in the past, she was not too concerned [about preparation for the role].

Don't even see her. (Miss her?) No need to, we are so close by." Then she bought another for me, spending so much money. The two women in the house always overspend. The other one is my mom. (Like girlfriend more than diamond?) Yeah." Charmaine Sheh will rely on 'When Heaven Burns' for next year's TV Queen

Friday, December 16, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Two years ago, Charmaine Sheh participated in the production of TVB series When Heaven Burns, but 18 episodes have already been broadcast and still the TV ratings are not doing too well. As for the public responses, it has been a mix of good and bad. Some people didn't understand the method of expression of space and time and can't accept cannibalism. On the contrary, some praised that the story is refreshing, something new. However, a common point is audience all agree that Charmaine's acting is good. There are some Netizens who felt pity for Charmaine, that if the series aired before the TVB Anniversary, Myolie Wu may not have got the TV Queen title. It looks like Charmaine's charms are still strong.

Charmaine said: "Perhaps next year I'll still have a chance to be in the TV Queen competition. I hope we all don't forget about When Heaven Burns when the time comes. I am quite pleased with the response, this proves there are improvements. I thank producer Jonathan Chik for giving me [the opportunity] to portray 'Yip Chi Yan'. In fact, improvement is the most important for artists. Awards are a great encouragement. This time, it is enough that the series got pretty good feedback. As for the praises by Netizens, I don't dare to take it. Perhaps the genre, characters and producer are different, Myolie [Wu] is a very hardworking artist. I am happy that she got the awards. For whatever it is, we can never please the whole world. After all, there will be people that are happy and people that are unhappy."

Charmaine reveals when she received the When Heaven Burns script, she already knew the parent generation may not like the series because the genre is more complex and different. In fact, the younger generation will like it more. In the end, Charmaine's thoughts were correct. She said: "I personally love my Yip Chi Yan role, she is different from my past roles. She bears a very heavy burden, because when she was a teenager, her boyfriend died and her good friends didn't take up the responsibilities, therefore she carries heavy emotions. Each time I have to do my homework. Although the ratings for this series is only average, I feel we have won the public praises and that's enough for me. Good or poor ratings is more about the right time, place and conditions. The ratings often do poorly near the end of the year, it is something artists cannot control."

Winning praises from Netizens, will Charmaine be participating in Jonathan Chik's War and Beauty sequel next year? She said: "Under my contract with TVB, I must shoot at least a 20 episode series per year. However, February 2012 I already agreed to take part in a Mainland drama. The crew has already done all the preparations too. I am working very hard to match the schedules. If everyone does some accommodating, I can shoot War and Beauty 2." With that said, Charmaine still has a chance to be part of next year's TVB grand production.

They have a very good time each day, but whenever it was time to start shooting, they will have to change their emotions. Kate said: "It's actually quite difficult to do so. Also, shooting was a little rushed, not much time to warm up. Some scenes, I had to cry too, I didn't even have much time to cultivate that mood. Benny Chan escapes jail! Rose Chan forgives him for lewd groping

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
Earlier, Benny Chan's scandalous groping of 19 year old actress, Rose Chan, while witnessed by a blase Joe Ma (馬德鐘) in Hengdian, China stunned the world. A very public scolding against Benny for his inappropriate behavior, which occurred after drinking too much alcohol, ensued. The drama continued as Rose’s martial arts sifu, Sin Kwok Lam (冼國林), called Benny Chan a hypocrite and bastard for his actions. Rose Chan filed a police report in Hong Kong over the harassment incident, while Benny Chan took along his pregnant wife, Lisa Chiang (蔣麗莎), to hold a tearful press conference apologizing to Rose; Benny vowed to cut back his alcohol consumption. Yesterday, Benny published an apology statement to Rose in the newspaper, allegedly as a final effort to change her decision to file a police report with the mainland authorities over the incident. Apparently, Benny’s sincerity worked as Sin Kwok Lam announced yesterday that charges will not be pressed against Benny with the mainland authorities.

Sin Kwok Lam: “Benny Chan Is Finally Sincere in His Apology”

After Benny Chan’s public apology in the newspaper, Sin Kwok Lam held a press conference yesterday acknowledging that Benny’s raucous behavior has been forgiven. Sin Sifu said, “Both Benny Chan and I recently became fathers to baby daughters. Perhaps we should not place such a big stress burden on Benny. My wife supports my decision as well. We felt that Benny Chan has already apologized and contributed to charity donations. The incident should end here; there is a satisfactory resolution for all involved parties. He issued a public apology [in both mainland China and Hong Kong] and donated money to a meaningful charitable cause. There is sufficient sincerity [in his apology], thus we decided not to pursue the matter any further. All legal actions will now come to an end!”

Asked how much money Benny Chan had contributed to charity, Sin Sifu did not disclose the amount, but noted that the donation was no less than Joe Ma’s contribution. Sin Sifu added that if Benny Chan, Joe Ma, and Rose Chan were to collaborate together in future projects, such plans will not be intentionally blocked.

Rose Chan’s Psychological Well-Being Considered in Accepting Benny Chan’s Apology

Aside from Benny Chan’s sincerity in his apology, Sin Kwok Lam indicated that if a report were filed with the mainland authorities over the harassment incident, Rose Chan will be summoned for prolonged questioning by the police. Court appearances may also be required. Rose may need to publicly reveal the details of what had occurred on that day. Considering the psychological impact of such requirements on Rose, it was decided to accept Benny’s apology.

In addition, Sin Sifu denied that the acceptance of Benny’s apology was not driven by alleged triad coercion over the matter. Sin Sifu indicated that Rose was willing to accept Benny’s apology and not forced in her decision. Hopefully, the harassment incident will finally come to an end, while earlier legal actions will be canceled.

Rose Chan Sent Her Blessings to Benny Chan

Stepping out of the shadow of the harassment incident, Rose Chan immersed in work and was currently filming movie, Glory Days <光輝歲月>in mainland, China. Her mother, Ronnie, who also acted as her manager, responded, “Thank you for your concern. The incident has been properly handled by Sin Sifu. Rose and I fully agree with his decision and are happy that justice was given to my daughter and me. We agreed to not pursue the matter further.”

In addition, Rose Chan appeared in a Now TV interview, sending her blessings to Benny Chan. Rose said, “The incident is behind us now. For his family and for himself, I hope that he will be a good artist. My mother and I hope that he can do it and send our blessings to Benny, his wife, and baby daughter to have a healthy and happy life.”

Benny Chan Learned His Lesson

Currently filming mainland series, Ji Gong 3 <濟公3>in Hengdian, Benny Chan closely monitored the developments of Sin Kwok Lam’s press conference announcing that Rose Chan will not file a police report in China over the harassment incident. Through his manager, Charlie Lam, Benny replied, “In the afternoon, I received the news that Sin Kwok Lam has publicly accepted my apology. Receiving Sin Sifu, Rose Chan, and her mother’s forgiveness, I am extremely comforted. Once again, I thank Sin Sifu’s generosity! I will never forget this incident and have learned my lesson!”

Acknowledging that he will devote himself to work in the future, Benny was grateful for the public’s concern. “I would like to thank members of the media for their care and support over the last month.” Charlie Lam indicated that Benny arrived in Hangzhou yesterday morning and headed to the temple to place his prayers. Since Benny successfully escaped from a potential lawsuit, it was indeed worth paying a visit to thank the deities!

Viann Zhang met Ron Ng's parents; Vows to have children after marriage

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Viann Zhang (張馨予) “mistakenly” posted a bed photo of herself on Ron Ng’s (吳卓羲) Weibo blog last week and staked a very public claim as his girlfriend. Fan reactions were swift and critical, scolding her for attempting to generate publicity for herself and acting as an unreasonable girlfriend. In an interview with Oriental Daily, Viann further revealed her relationship with Ron, professing that she has met his parents and if she were to get married in the future, she hopes to have one son and one daughter!

Admitting that they had dated for more than a year, Viann praised Ron highly, “He is handsome, stylish, and a good man. He treats friends well and is a filial son, while possessing a serious attitude towards work!”

Viann noted that “checking” on her boyfriend, Ron, was an action that most couples would do in a dating relationship. Asked whether the posting of the bed photo on Weibo resulted in Ron scolding her, Viann said, “No, he explained the consequences to me. He said that this action will result in a lot of reporters following us and will affect our work, as well as the loss of freedom.” (Were you moved by Ron’s actions?) “Yes, very much. This is because I did create trouble for him!” Asked whether their relationship has improved, Viann replied, “We will have to see what Heaven arranges.”

Viann arrived in Hong Kong this week to film Shaw Brothers’ Lunar New Year movie, I Love Hong Kong 2 <2012我愛HK喜上加囍>. Last night, she filmed opposite Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Evergreen Mak (麥長青) through dawn, while Eric Tsang (曾志偉) forbid reporters to interview Viann about recent rumors on the film set.

Kevin Cheng Does Not Deny Dating Charmaine Sheh in the Past

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎)and rumored ex-flame, model Jenny Tsui (徐靖雯), appeared at the premiere of Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol in Hong Kong yesterday. Kevin and Jenny greeted each other at the event. Regarding rumors that Kevin and Jenny were back together, he smiled, “Last time, reporters asked me who Jenny’s boyfriend was. I think it is a misunderstanding! She also congratulated me in winning the Best Actor Award.”

Rampant rumors circulated recently that Kevin and rumored, ex-girlfriend, Charmaine Sheh ( 佘詩曼), had reconciled their relationship. Kevin smiled, “After winning awards, more people care about my love life. We have maintained our friendship status. We are not back together; it is not reconciliation!” The reporter laughed and noted that the term, “reconciliation” implied that Kevin and Charmaine had dated in the past. Kevin said embarrassedly, “I am just using the word usage, ‘reconciliation’ that the tabloid magazine had used. Anyhow, there was no reconciliation!”

Jenny Tsui indicated that she did not know that Kevin was scheduled to appear at the Mission Impossible 4 film premiere. Jenny said that she did not feel awkward upon seeing Kevin. Asked if she were concerned that her current boyfriend would be jealous, Jenny replied, “No, he also works in the entertainment industry. Joel Chan rumored to have been blacklisted by TVB due to relationship affecting his work

Thursday, December 15, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
On the night of December 8th, Joel Chan accompanied his girlfriend Florinda Ho to England for a sweet vacation and even happily posted the photo on Weibo. For Joel, all along dating was more important than anything. A magazine reported earlier he ordered airtickets, so he can go spend Christmas with Florinda outside of the country. Because of this, Joel delayed the progress of new series Ladder to Heaven filming. It was also said he's often arriving late and leaving early to work and lacks good work ethics. Due to his lack of professionalism, he is now blacklisted by TVB. Lee Tim Shing, the producer of Latter to Heaven, clarified Joel's negative rumors. He said Joel has already completed all of his scenes before taking vacation.

Lee Tim Shing expressed Joel finished all his work before leaving HK and it's not like how the magazines reported. The whole series will complete in 17 days. Regarding Joel's work performance, he is doing ok. Joel is always familiar with the script and is doing well on his acting. Just like his villain role in Bottled Passion, very outstanding.

Benny Chan publishes a written Public Apology on the day of his 'deadline'

Posted by Admin 0 comments
A month ago, Hong Kong artist Benny Chan forcefully hugged and kissed Rose Chan while being intoxicated in Shanghai. When the situation got rough, Benny and his pregnant wife came forward for a public confession. The other 'main lead' in this incident, Joe Ma, was publicly forgiven by Rose's mentor Sin Kwok Lam (Master Sin). However, it is unclear if Master Sin ever sued Benny in Mainland.

According to Master Sin, who reveal at an event earlier, the Mainland Public Security must take action 30 days after the incident. So, the final decision should be made by December 15th. Of no coincidence, Benny published a written "Public Apology" on the newspapers today (12/15th), right on the day of the 'deadline'. The incident has caught people's attention once again.

Benny's public apology

I, Benny Chan, caused physical and mental harm to Ms. Rose Chan in Hengdian earlier due to my intoxicated behavior. I hereby make an official public apology in writing.

1) Ms. Rose Chan did not have any motive whatsoever. She is a kind-hearted and hardworking artist as well as the victim of this incident. Earlier there were some comments that caused misunderstandings that Ms. Rose Chan was making up the story, is two-faced and wants to take the opportunity to get up top. Regarding all the comments that may have harmed Rose Chan, my wife, my manager (Charles Lam) and I hereby clarify that none of the comments are true." I also stressed and urge all of my friends and fans to stop attacking Ms. Chan and her family and to show respect for Ms. Chan.

2) I completely understand that being intoxicated can bring serious consequences. I learned a lesson. I hope Ms. Chan and her family can give me a second chance and accept my sincere apology.

3) To show my sincerity, I am currently willing to donate to the 'End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation' and support those who have been sexually abused. I also warn and will strengthen my determination to not make the mistake again.

Benny Chan

Benny's statement sure had true intentions, but because the newspaper publish was during a 'sensitive' time, it will be difficult to see Master Sin give in and cancel the Public Security report. Reporters contacted Benny's manager Charles Lam to ask about this issue. He clarified that the publication of the public apology was purely a coincidence: "Initially it was suppose to be out yesterday, but because it wasn't done in time, so we changed the date." He also said at this point, there has been no communication made in private with Master Sin.

Since Benny already apologized at the press conference, why was there a written public apology too? Charles said: "Last time he came out to see everyone, but Master Sin he didn't have enough sincerity. So, we are doing more to express our sincerity."

About Benny's written apology, Master Sin replied yesterday and expressed he will have to look at the statement before responding. He said: "I know the people around Benny have suggested him to do many things. I will have to wait until tomorrow before I can make a decision." He said Rose has already recovered: "She's working again and is being looked after. Also, earlier she won the Newcomer Award in Macau earlier, so that's a source of encouragement for her."

Viann Zhang claims she made such a stupid mistake

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Viann Zhang and Ron Ng's relationship have actually surfaced, but the two never admitted. It was only until the exposure of the 'bed photo' on Ron's Weibo that Ron admitted the two "dated before". However, he still wasn't willing say if they still are a couple or if they have already broken up. He only said he hopes to have some space. Soon after, Viann was labeled as the 'Sassy Girlfriend', but Ron is still unwilling to separate.

The 'bed photo' incident happened a week ago, but Viann had been in Mainland promoting for her new film all along. The other night, she attended an event in Shanghai and became the main focus. She generously accepted an interview and said: "This was just a mistake. Initially it was just a small matter, but later turned into such a big deal. I usually log in to Weibo with two accounts. That day I posted on the wrong Weibo, thinking it was my own because I just got back from work and was very tired. I made a very stupid mistake." She said Ron knows her Weibo password as well.

Nicholas Tse is almost swept out to sea

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) has many action scenes. Not only brothers Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) fight with Andy On Chi Kit and Jimmy Hung Tin Chiu, even lead actress Lin Peng put herself on the line for stunts. As she dove from the deck to the bottom of the ship, the crew's heart beats quicken.

Lin Peng's high dive was heart pounding, but she said it was a lot of fun. "My previous action scenes were all in costumes, flying back and forth in long robes and sleeves and make pretty moves; this time is completely different. I am casually dressed, which is even more beneficial to the action shoot. As soon as I get shot I fall to the bottom of the ship, it feels so cool!"

Tse Ting Fung has many combat scenes on the oil tanker, including one with Hung Tin Chiu. It started six in the morning and shot straight for almost ten hours before completion. In another scene Ting Fung jumps from the oil tanker into the sea. Ting Fung stands on the tail of the ship and is four stories above the sea. Although the waves are strong, Ting Fung without any hesitation dives in. However Ting Fung is almost swept under the ship. The rescue divers due to the sudden wave cannot save him in time. Luckily Ting Fung is a strong swimmer and immediately surfaces, leaving everyone to breathe a sigh of relief.

Chow Kit Lun also has a series of gun fights. In order to handle the extremely exhausting action, he arrives at the set early in the morning for warm up. The cargoes on the oil tanker are set up like a giant maze. Chairman Chou dodges bullets and grenades between the cargoes and at the same time has to perform a series of shots in mid air. Because the end of the maze is the sea, during the shoot the crew put Chairman Chou on wires to prevent him from not being able to brake in time and falling into the sea.

Gigi Lai’s Comeback in High Demand; TVB Offers $4 Million

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB attempted all efforts to recruit Bowie Lam (林保怡) and Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) in filming with the company again. Allegedly TVB executives earmarked Gigi Lai (黎姿) as well, since her twin daughters were already one-and-a-half years old and have entered nursery school. TVB reportedly offered $4 million HKD for Gigi’s comeback! TVB executive and Gigi’s good friend, Virginia Lok (樂易玲), admitted that she has remained in touch with Gigi.

Forty-year-old Gigi Lai placed priority in taking care of her twin daughters. In addition, she also had to manage her younger brother, Lai Ying’s (黎嬰) beauty salon business. It was not an easy feat to have Gigi accept TVB’s filming offer. However, Gigi has been getting back into shape to film an upcoming commercial.

Last Thursday, on December 8th, Gigi took her twin daughters, assistants, and two foreign domestic helpers to shop at a brand name children’s clothing boutique located in the Man Yee Building. The store closed its doors to allow Gigi to shop privately without the disturbance of other customers.

Virginia Lok: “We Have Always Kept In Touch!”

Asked whether TVB had asked Gigi Lai to return to the small screen, Ms. Lok said, “We keep in touch with many actresses-turned-mothers, such as Kenik Kwok (郭可盈), Flora Chan (陳慧珊), and Gigi Lai (黎姿). If the roles were appropriate, we will ask if they are interested in filming!”

Did Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) take the initiative in expressing the desire to return to TVB? Ms. Lok said, “We all know the reasons that prompted Bernice to leave. The media was critical about her. It is a good thing to work outside for a bit. Currently, there are no series that require her involvement. Let’s talk about it later!”

Kate Tsui & Ron Ng 'couple team' making money, careless if Viann Zhang is jealous

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB vice-chairman Norman Leung celebrated the high ratings with the Forensic Heroes III cast including Wayne Lai, Ron Ng, Kate Tsui and Maggie Cheung. Kate exposed that FH3 has helped her earn 7 figures of extra income. She couldn't believe that it's been a period of time since the series ended, but there are still companies interested in her on-screen pairing with Ron Ng. Asked if she's worried that Ron's girlfriend Viann Zhang might be jealous and get upset? Kate said: "Too bad the companies like to ask Ron and I to work together. We are just working though. As for how others think, I will not comment!"

She reveals she and Ron will be a 'couple team' until Lunar New Year and will even crash into Viann's world by working in Mainland. Viann is currently shooting for Lunar New Year film I Love Hong Kong 2, Kate has not been invited to guest star, but she won't compared her body figure with Viann. As she has been involved in the rumors with Ron, Kate said Ron didn't apologize to her.

Ron expressed the 'couple team' with Kate is for work purposes, there is no need to report that to his girlfriend. They both have their own jobs. It was rumored Eric Tsang intends to invite him to guest star in his Lunar New Year film I Love Hong Kong 2 and collaborate with Viann? Ron said his jobs are all handled by his manager. He is currently shooting new series The Prominent Family, and if he does have time, he hopes to rest. He won't be guest starring in any films. Ron does not decline to collaborating with Viann, just have to see if the schedule matches and if the script is fitting. However, all is arranged by TVB.

After Wayne completes The King Makers, he will immediately start The Great Eunuch, he said the schedule has been too tight, so he doesn't even have the time to look at the script. Kevin Cheng will be cautious when meeting Mainland girls

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The new TV King Kevin Cheng turns into LAW BA once again to shoot a scene in Sham Shui Po for new series Ghetto Justice II with TV Queen Myolie Wu. Kevin expressed shooting for this series will complete next Tuesday, then he will head to Mainland to shoot another series immediately after. Asked if he's getting 160,000 yuan per episode like the rumors say? He said: "It's really not just that amount!"

A few days ago, it was rumored that Niki Chow and her rich boyfriend broke up, Kevin was asked if he had comforted her? He said: "When I see her, I will. Actually, no need because we already met at Toby Leung's wedding. I chatted with her, she looks totally fine, no need to be comforted." Perhaps he should consider re-sparking with her? He embarrassingly said: "This is quite an interesting question."

When Kevin gets to Mainland to shoot series, is he afraid he'll bring trouble upon himself just like how Ron Ng and Raymond Lam did? He said: "Now we can't tar somebody with the same brush. There are all kinds of people in this world, aside from having to meet people wisely, you also have to see how your luck is. See if you meet a good girl or a girl with motives. I hope everyone can put on their glasses when meeting people." Will he reduce his opportunities to meet Mainland girls? He said: "I don't agree with this. If it's said like that, we are offending the millions of people in Mainland. It is just there is a larger population in Mainland, so there is a higher likelihood to meet a girl with motives. This is a human nature problem, can't just randomly label Mainland or Taiwanese girls. It is unfair to them." Will he choose to be careful or just choose HK girls? He said: "In fact, I want to ask you all for what reason do you believe there aren't these types of girls in HK? After all, must be careful when meeting girls. I will first treat them as normal friends, no need to rush. Test the waters first."

When speaking of personal privacy, Kevin said usually he uses two cell phones, one is for work and one is for personal use. Nobody knows his passwords. Asked if he would take intimate photos with his phone? He said after the shocking incident that occurred several years ago (referring to Edison Chen's scandal), he believes the majority won't retain these types of photos. Kevin feels the safest is to store everything inside the brain, and there is temporarily no new discoveries that can replicate the brain's memory.

Myolie Wu was asked if she's rushing to get off work, so she can celebrate Bosco Wong's birthday? She said: "Can't celebrate! He is very busy, have to shoot series and the Lunar New Year film. He is the happiest when he has work." Wouldn't her boyfriend be happier to see her? She smiled sweetly: "Work is rather important!" Will she wish Bosco to become the next TV King? She said: "I hope both TV King and Film King. I wish him good health and a smooth career. As for what birthday gift I'm giving him, of course it is a secret."

Myolie supports 'When Heaven Burns', a good show

As TVB series When Heaven Burns is getting low ratings, and may have to get cut? Myolie strongly supported: "It won't! It definitely won't! I support a series that is of a different genre and special. It's really boring to see the same old characters. Now of course this will have TV rating pressures, but I just feel When Heaven Burns is a very good series." She expressed Ghetto Justice II will also have the same TV rating pressure because the last series had such good ratings, and also features TV King and Queen as well as 'Best Supporting Actress' Sharon Chan. Myolie will just have to do her best and hope to maintain the good ratings.

Koni Lui and Dickson Wong holds wedding banquet, but will marry later overseas

Posted by Admin 0 comments
29 year old 'Long Leg Crab' Koni Lui and 33 year old model Dickson Wong held their 28 table wedding banquet yesterday. The bride was dressed in a pink wedding dress and although she wasn't as sexy as she usually is, she feels if her wedding dress was any sexier, it would overshadow the romantic atmosphere. The wedding was set up like a forest, which reflects the couple's love for nature. The newly wedded couple allowed the media to take photos of them in the forest background, kissing again and again. When posing in their 'deep' kiss, the bride was so happy she kept laughing and ended up taking the picture with closed eyes.

Dickson married Koni grandly, since the 4 sets of jewelries Koni had yesterday were all given by her husband. This includes 3 diamond rings, which totaled to about 20 carats. Dickson expressed he spent 7 figures and the most important is that his wife is happy. Among the three diamonds, which one was the wedding ring? Koni said: "None of them are because I'm too clumsy, so my husband was afraid I would lose the ring, so I didn't put it on today." The couple plans to register for their marriage overseas because they don't want to make their personal life made public, so for now they are not officially a married couple yet. The honeymoon is planned for February of next year. Koni's wedding dress looks quite loose, is she pregnant? Koni laughed: "Have no time to make [babies], so will have to wait for the good news."

Last night, Stephen Chan, Roger Kwok and his wife, Suki Tsui, Fala Chen and many more attended Koni's wedding. Eric Tsang was also invited, but he was absent.
