His decision to resign has been accepted, but if he ever does decide to return to TVB, he will make TVB his first choice. He plans to travel abroad to study language. However, there are rumors circulating that Stephen is actually planning to start his own company and stir up another turbulence in the television industry. Yesterday morning at 9am, Stephen drove back to TVB City and approximately 9:30am, he met the press with TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming). In just a short 5 minute interview, Stephen appeared very relaxed.

It was rumored he was going to leave April 2012? He said his resignation date is still under negotiation, but is certain that everything will go smoothly. The other day, it was publicly announced that Norman Leung will takeover as the chairman next year, asked if his resignation has something to do with the change in executives? He repeated himself three times that there is no relation, and expressed he feels gratified for Norman to be the next chairman. Norman has been with TVB for 8 years and has had great success. Viann Zhang controls Ron Ng's life, forces him to post whereabouts on Weibo

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Ron Ng and Viann Zhang's romance is like a chain of drama series. Following the 'Sneak Weibo post' (TN: Chinese title sounds like Lives of Omission) and the 'Don't Blame Her' (TN: Ron's old song), it turns out behind the scenes it's like My Sassy Girl (TN: Korean drama). According to the inside news exposed by radio host Angela Au yesterday, Viann's sassy behavior is endless that is really disappointing. She is very strict towards Ron and under her 'discipline', he was asked to hand over his Weibo password, allowing her sneak in posts on his Weibo. Not only that, she controls his personal life and stops 'HK girls' from getting near her boyfriend.

Although Ron is already in a controlling relationship with Viann with "no freedom, lost of freedom", she does not give up just yet. Even if Ron is away from her, she wants Ron to publicly report his whereabouts in order to control him all day, everyday and prevent any 'accidents'. What happens is whenever Viann mentions "Where are you?" and "What are you doing?" on whatsapp, Ron will have immediately answer her and even has to take a photo of what he's doing at that time, post it on Weibo and prove to her that he isn't lying. Angela Au said: "If he said he's eating sushi with friends, he will have to immediately take a picture of the sushi and share it on Weibo, to prove he isn't lying." What is most shocking is Ron, who had always had the impression that he has a casual personality, did not resist and appeared to be totally willing to be controlled.

Reporters looked back at both of their Weibos, and discovered the two have really leaked their 'sweetness' out on Weibo. Last month, Ron uploaded a photo of a fish, and commented: "Today I went to have Japanese food after work." Ron also often updates his whereabouts on Weibo, like last month he uploaded a photo of himself in a black cap, and reveals he's working in Guangzhou. On Viann's Weibo, she seems to have fell in love with uploading photos of food.

So, it doesn't matter what kind of tyrant Viann wants the public to see her as, but under an "one willing to fight, the other willing to suffer" relationship, Ron is definitely enjoying himself.

According to an insider, Ron may have tried to be confusing and said "we dated before", but they never broke up after all. The two are still in their sweet relationship. The insider exposed Viann and Ron have little opportunities to see each other, but the two utilize all channels to send their love. Aside from Weibo, they also talk on the phone, which is the couple's designated activities.

Viann's manager (Jason) denounced the rumors as 'rubbish talk': "After we check where the source of the news, we will issue a statement to those who are making up the truth."

Mavis Pan groans for being dragged into the water

Viann used Ron's Weibo to post her 'bed photo' and forced Ron to admit he once 'dated her'. This inevitably leads people to think of TVB Siu Sang Raymond Lam, who also had a similar experience with his Mainland ex-girlfriend, Mavis Pan. Reporters called her to asked if she knows about Ron and Viann's recent news? She expressed she saw it on Weibo and the internet, but she is not too sure of their situation. She said it is not her business and is their personal life. She has no right to intervene, but could not help but groan of how she's been innocently dragged into the issue. She feels very annoyed!

When speaking of Viann using a 'heavy hand' to control Ron, Mavis expressed: "At the time (referring to the bed photo scandal with Raymond Lam) she told others that she doesn't know me well. She said so herself, so I don't care about her issues."

Dissatisfied With Ron Ng’s Inattentiveness, Viann Zhang Fires Bed Photo On Weibo

Friday, December 09, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB actors have been embroiled in one bed scandal after another. Following Raymond Lam (林峯) and mainland actress, Mavis Pan’s (潘霜霜) bed photo scandal revealing their dating relationship, Ron Ng’s (吳卓羲) girlfriend, Viann Zhang (張馨予), posted a bed photo of herself on his Weibo blog. Viann wore makeup and a black leather jacket while laying upon the bed in the self-taken photo. After Viann’s photo appeared on Ron’s blog, the entry was reposted virally amongst Weibo users!

Numerous speculations abounded as to why Viann’s photo appeared on Ron’s blog, including the reason that Viann mistakenly posted her cell phone photo on her boyfriend’s blog. Another view was that it was a “trap” with Viann wishing to “stake her claim” on Ron as her boyfriend. After the photo was released, Ron did not attend a promotional event for Prominent Family "名媛望族" due to “sick leave.” TVB executive, Virginia Lok explained that Viann’s actions were due to her wish that Ron pay more attention to her. However, Viann’s manager said that it was technical mistake. Both sides of the party provided different reasons for the incident.

At 1 AM, Viann’s bed photo appeared on Ron’s blog. Viann wrote, “I’m very tired. After work, I do not want to do anything except sleep and sleep. My head is hurting!” Viann’s self-taken photo resembled Mavis Pan’s bed photo closely, except that Ron was missing in the picture. After Viann’s post, Weibo users reposted the entry almost 10,000 times with 7,000 comments. Several hours later, Viann’s bed photo post was deleted. However, netizens made a screen capture of her earlier entry, thus there was no denying the occurrence.

Ron Ng Hiding From Public Inquiry

Ron Ng was originally scheduled to appear at a promotional event for Prominent Family, but did not appear due to sudden “sick leave.” It was understood that Ron received Virginia Lok’s assistance on bed photo scandal. Ms. Lok explained that Ron was not hiding, but only fell sick coincidentally. Ms Lok said, “The truth is very simple. Miss Zhang (Viann Zhang) has the password to Ron’s Weibo account. His manager and assistant also have password access to help him maintain his blog. As to why Viann behaved in this manner, Ron said that she wished for him to pay more attention to her.”

Ms. Lok revealed that when Viann had posted the bed photo, Ron was not with her at the time. Viann was upset that Ron had attended Toby Leung’s wedding and the after-party with Raymond Lam, partying until dawn. Asked about the relationship between Ron and Viann, Ms. Lok dodged the question and said that dating matters should be addressed to Ron and Viann instead. Ms. Lok will not ask too much about the young people’s matters.

With the high-profile announcement of their relationship, will this affect Ron Ng’s image? Ms. Lok noted that the matter was not too serious. Since Viann had a cameo role in Shaw Brothers’ film, I Love Hong Kong 2 "我愛HK喜上加囍", Ms. Lok smiled and said that Viann was assisting the film promotion.

Viann Zhang’s Manager: “It Was a Mistake”

Viann’s manager explained that Viann had mistakenly posted the photo on Ron’s blog, but did not wish to explain further to avoid misunderstanding. Viann was in yesterday for a film premiere. As to whether Viann was in Hong Kong when the bed photo was taken, the details remain unclear. Chin Kwok Wai, the director of I Love Hong Kong 2, was unaware of Viann’s whereabouts since she was not required onset yesterday. Next week, Viann will arrive in Hong Kong to film the movie.

Unwilling to Remain Behind the Scenes

Mainland actress, Viann Zhang, gained fame for her F-cup chest. While filming Pretty Maid "大丫鬟" in China in 2010, Ron met Viann and the couple started dating in a low-profile manner. However, Viann was unwilling to remain as Ron’s “invisible” girlfriend and her tendency to stake her claim on Ron had an online history. In November 2010, Viann posted a photo of herself taken in Ron’s apartment, with his couch visible in the background, thus exposing their relationship.

However, Ron did not publicly acknowledge his relationship with Viann and had numerous rumors with TVB actresses instead. In June 2010, Ron was photographed picking up Viann at the Hong Kong airport and driving back to his apartment together. Subsequently, Ron traveled to Beijing and was photographed by the paparazzi linking arms with Viann on a date. Although Ron and Viann never publicly acknowledged their dating status, Ron’s status as an attached man was a public secret.

Ron Ng On Bed Photo Scandal: “Do Not Blame Viann Zhang; I Have Forgiven Her!”

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Viann Zhang (張馨予) staked a claim on Ron Ng (吳卓羲) as her boyfriend by posting a bed photo of herself on his Weibo blog on Monday night. The incident sparked intense interest throughout the City of Hong Kong. The “victim” Ron Ng finally surfaced yesterday. His admission that he had dated Viann attracted breakup speculations. Since Ron stressed that he had forgiven Viann and asked his fans to not blame her, it was evident that Ron was still very protective towards her!

Viann’s posting of her bed photo on Ron’s blog attracted a lively discussion among netizens and scolding from fans. To escape from the close scrutiny, Ron took “sick leave” from a promotional event for Prominent Family "名媛望族". Yesterday, Ron finally found the courage to face the media yesterday.

At 8 AM, Ron arrived at TVB City and appeared to be in good spirits. He calmly apologized to the involved parties and explained the bed scandal incident, “First, I have to apologize to my fans who were worried about me, my family, and friends. I was unaware of the blog post when it first appeared. At the time, I was at Toby Leung’s (梁靖琪) wedding and attended an after party until 4 AM. When I saw the blog post upon returning home, I was a bit shocked.”

Ron explained that Viann’s photo was not taken at his home since she was in mainland China at the time. Ron indicated that he contacted Viann immediately to delete the blog post.

Ron Ng: “I Have Forgiven Viann Zhang!”

In June 2011, Ron was photographed picking up Viann Zhang at the Hong Kong airport, thus exposing their dating relationship. Since Viann often flaunted their romance in a high-profile manner, Ron was unable to retain secrecy over their dating status despite his tight-lipped nature. After the bed photo incident, Ron finally admitted Viann as his girlfriend. However, he said cryptically, “I have dated her.” Asked whether they had broken up, Ron did not directly respond, “Please give me some space!”

Although many people criticized Viann [for the bed photo incident], Ron emphasized that he has forgiven her, putting in a good word for Viann, “I called her to understand the matter. She admitted that she acted wrongly and apologized. I have forgiven her.” (Are you in a cool down period?) “Please give me some space!”

Asked why Viann had to post a bed photo of herself on Ron’s blog, he stated, “I did not ask her. She already admitted that she had acted wrongly.” (Did Viann post the photo on purpose?) “I did not delve on that aspect.” (It was not the first time Viann caused a ruckus on Weibo?) “She has been in the entertainment industry for only a short period of time and thus acted unconsciously. She did not realize the severe consequences of her actions. She now regrets what had occurred.”

Ron stressed that Viann’s posting of her photo on Ron’s blog was not due to his attendance in the after party celebration following Toby Leung’s wedding. Furthermore, Ron indicated that Viann’s actions were not driven by jealousy or possessiveness. Asked whether Viann possessed access to his bank account, Ron laughed, “I will not go there! If all the money were withdrawn, that would be a big problem!”

Asked whether he still cared for Viann, Ron noted, “Stepping forward, I cannot just talk about myself. She is sincere.” Encouraging fans not to be upset, Ron said, “Every person makes mistakes.” Ron was fully aware of Viann’s whereabouts; due to Viann’s impending arrival in Hong Kong next week for work, Ron urged the press not to push Viann too far. “She is a newcomer.” In an attempt to put in good words for Viann, Ron displayed his protectiveness towards Viann.

Viann Zhang Defensive In Blog Message

One hour after Ron spoke with the media, Viann quickly updated her Weibo blog, “It was unintentional; there is no need for such a big response! Although I know that outsiders will not believe that it was a mistake [in posting the bed photo on the wrong blog], please give some space and do not push too far in every instance!” Immediately following Viann’s post, netizens responded cuttingly, noting that Viann possessed Sima Zhao’s heart and Mavis Pan’s lack of ethics.

This was Viann’s first public response since the bed photo scandal. After the incident, Viann disappeared from her blog for several days. After wrapping up The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate "龍門飛甲" and No Liar, No Crying "不怕賊惦記". Viann will arrive in Hong Kong to film a new movie and pictorial. afterward Throughout the bed photo incident, Viann’s fans were highly supportive of her.

A History of Viann’s Jealousy

Although normally tight-lipped about his love life, Ron Ng made many exceptions since meeting 33F-cup Viann Zhang. Crazily in love with Viann, Ron protected her each time the public criticized Viann. In June 2011, it was rumored that Viann had alerted the paparazzi herself when Ron picked her up at the Hong Kong airport. At a promotional event, Ron indicated that he trusted his “friend” and did not feel betrayed.

Viann flaunted her relationship with Ron on Weibo numerous times, resulting in mutual wrath between Ron’s fans and herself. Ron stepped in to pacify the “flame war” and asked fans to calm down and be courteous to the people he cared about.

It was rumored that Viann regarded Ron’s rumored costar, Kate Tsui (徐子珊), as her arch rival. Ron had posted a screen shot of Kate and himself on his blog, incurring Viann’s extreme jealousy over the matter. Ron deleted the photo with Kate from his blog afterward.

TVB Anniversary Awards Results: Kevin Cheng & Myolie Wu supported by management and producers

Posted by Admin 0 comments
As was the case in past years, the results of this year’s TVB Anniversary Awards have garnered criticism from some audiences for being unfair, with the primary complaint this time being that Kevin Cheng won 3 awards while Michael Tse went home empty-handed. According to reports, this year, audience’s votes counted for 40% of the total, TVB’s Management votes counted 30%, and Producers’ votes counted for 30%. Besides most of the management and producers supporting Kevin for TV King this year, it is said that majority of audiences voted overwhelmingly for Kevin as well, making him the natural winner of the award this year.

Kevin Cheng overwhelmingly supported by management

According to reports, Kevin Cheng received 6 out of 7 votes from TVB’s management for TV King. Those who voted for him include: Stephen Chan, Virginia Lok, Catherine Tsang, director of program development Pang Jai Choi, assistant director of programming Ho Koon Chung, production manager Chan Ka Yeung; the only executive who voted for Michael Tse was drama production head Tommy Leung. As for TV Queen, the results were also 6 to 1 in favor of Myolie Wu, with production head Catherine Tsang the only one who voted for Fala Chan.

Also, in addition to gaining the favor of management and the audiences, Kevin also received support from majority of the producers, who overwhelmingly voted for him for TV King. It is said that Kevin’s performance in “Ghetto Justice” caused many of the producers to see him in a new light, plus they saw the effort he put into the role, despite being only the 4th choice for that role (the other 3 actors originally invited to take on that role declined).

The day after the award ceremony, head of production and resources Virginia Lok attended an event and emphasized that the awards result was fair and just. Asked about Michael Tse not receiving any awards at all, she replied: “I will tell him not to be discouraged and continue to work hard.” Asked whether Michael cried afterwards, she stated: “Laughing Gor is strong, he is able to endure it. Fala [Chan] didn’t get any awards either – she told us not to give the award to her because she is not ready for it yet.”

Newly crowned TV King and Queen highly paid in Mainland

Even though newly crowned TV King and Queen Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu celebrated together into the early morning hours after the awards ceremony, they were only able to take a short rest before having to continue work on new series “Ghetto Justice 2”; after that, both will be traveling to the Mainland to film series.

Next month, Kevin will be collaborating with Michael Tse in the 30 episode Mainland series “Hero” – it is rumored that Kevin’s salary in the Mainland jumped from 160,000 yuan per episode to 250,000 yuan, easily earning him 1 million yuan for 1 series. During his acceptance speech, Kevin emphasized that he did not ‘exchange contract for award’, as his current contract with TVB isn’t set to expire until 2016. After filming “Hero”, he will be participating in a series that will be a joint collaboration between TVB and CCTV.

As for Myolie, she will be filming in Hengdian shortly. Currently at TVB, she receives a salarly of 10,000 HKD per episode, however it is reported that her salary in the Mainland will increase tenfold to 120,000 yuan per episode.

Ron Ng: I Dated Viann Zhang

Posted by Admin 0 comments
It takes so long for Ron Ng to confirm his love life.

The actor's girlfriend Viann Zhang supposedly used the actor's Weibo account to post by mistake. The simple post caused a stir but at the same time officially confirmed the two are no ordinary pair. Yesterday Ron went back to TV city and was surrounded by many reporters. He first apologized to his fans and family, saying he knew nothing about the incident before hand.

"Because I went to Toby Leung's wedding, I didn't know what happened until around 4AM," he said. "I was shocked."

The 32-year-old also confirmed his relationship with Viann, but in a vague way. He didn't say whether he is still in a relationship with her.

"I...yes, I dated her," he said. "Give some space to us."

Ron expressed Viann already apologized and promised things like this won't happen again. He was protecting the actress and said he won't think more.

The Mainland actress later posted on Weibo, stressing the whole thing was just an accident.

"It was just an accident, no need to make a fuss," she wrote. "I know others won't believe I just logged into the wrong account. I hope you guys give me some space."

Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung React to Ron Ng’s “Bed Scandal”

Thursday, December 08, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
The press visited the filming set of TVB series, Prominent Family "名媛望族", yesterday. Regarding Ron Ng’s (吳卓羲) absence due to illness yesterday, Kenneth Ma (馬國明) said that he did not know about Ron falling sick. Kenneth said, “Last night at Toby Leung’s ( 梁靖琪) wedding, Ron was not sick or in any pain. I will call to ask about his condition.” In Prominent Family, Kenneth will fight for Rebecca Zhu’s (朱晨麗) affections along with Ron, in which Kenneth will lose the love battle.

Regarding the death of veteran actor, Wang Wei (王偉), Kenneth felt that it was a pity. It turned out that Wang Wei had served as Kenneth’s teaching instructor. Kenneth lamented that there was an increasing scarcity of seasoned, veteran actors.

Tavia Yeung and Sire Ma Deflect Past Rumors With Ron Ng

When the press mentioned Viann Zhang (張馨予) posting a bed photo of herself on Ron’s blog, Sire Ma (馬賽) indicated that she had already drawn a clear boundary with Ron earlier. Sire noted that she and Ron were never in a relationship previously and was unclear about the posting of Viann’s photo on Ron’s blog, thus she refrained from further comment. Sire will not have any scenes with Ron in Prominent Family.

Formerly rumored with Ron, Tavia Yeung (楊怡) was also unclear about the posting of Viann’s bed photo on Ron’s blog. Tavia commented, “I will warn Ron to be careful and not place any pohtos in his cell phone.” (What if Him Law 羅仲謙 were to borrow your cell phone?) “We are friends, but I will not lend my phone overnight!”

Damien Lau: “Ron Ng Posted the Bed Photo Himself!”

Damien Lau (劉松仁) joked that Ron Ng posted the photo of Viann Zhang on his blog himself. When pointed out that Damien had to rely on himself to promote Prominent Family at the press visit yesterday, Damien joked, “If he needed to rely on me, then post the photo on my blog!” (You want trouble?) “I’m already such an advanced age; no trouble will come to my side! Perhaps it’s to help promote the series!” (This series does not have Viann Zhang!) “Relatives need to help out!”

Regarding veteran actor, Wang Wei’s death, Damien indicated that he was surprised by the news and will contact the Wang family to send his condolences.

JJ Jia Congratulated Ron Ng and Viann Zhang’s Love

At the Prominent Family filming yesterday, JJ Jia (賈曉晨) was asked to comment upon costar, Ron Ng’s girlfriend, Viann Zhang, posting a bed photo of herself on his blog. JJ immediately said “Wah! Wah! Wah!” and congratulated the couple. When the reporter noted that Ron’s fans blasted Viann, JJ said, “As long as Ron likes her, that’s enough!” (He likes her?) “He definitely likes her very much!”

JJ got very drunk at the after-party following the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards. JJ admitted that she will get drunk immediately upon drinking, thus she will abstain from alcohol in the future. “Actually, other people are in a more dangerous position than I am. Once they get drunk, they will touch women, regardless of whether it is appropriate or not!”

The family was very grieved and couldn't bear to see him go. Of course my father also didn't want to go, but all along despite having stomach cancer, he still had the willpower. (Did he have any special wishes?) My father is a Buddhist, he had always wanted to spread Buddhism."

Stephanie's boyfriend Wong Wai Tak was rehearsing at TVB City and said: "Wei Gor (Wang Wei) passed away due to having stomach cancer, he personally is very low-key, everyone respected his decision and that's why we didn't let so many people know about his death. The only people that know are close family and friends. The day before, we held the funeral in Hong Kong and then for the cremation."

'Fuk Luk Sau' (The Gods) Louis Yuen, Wong Cho Lam and Johnson Lee will be making their debut in Hong Kong Coliseum in February 2012 for the Those Years of Laughter Can't Leave Three Brothers concert. Yesterday the three of them held a press conference outside of HK Coliseum and took the lead in showing off their disguise skills. Louis pretended to be Crowd Lu on the guitar, Johnson pretended to be Jacky Cheung singing love songs and Wong Cho Lam posted his disguise as Tony Leung on Weibo attracting lots of response. Even Carina Lau left him a message saying she was frightened seeing Cho Lam like that. As the MC, King Kong put on a 'Carina' mask and loudly shouted "Husband" to Cho Lam, who was 'Tony Leung'. Cho Lam laughed: "Really sorry, looks like I didn't just frighten Carina, but I also frightened Tony Leung."

The Gods reveals they are temporarily set for only 1 show, but if the response gets better, they may decide to open more shows. Louis reveals the other day they got in touch with Carina: "She said its Tony's birthday in the next couple of days, so when the time comes, she'll bring Cho Lam's 'Tony Leung' disguised picture to show him." Cho Lam joked and said he turned into a birthday gift.

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Fresh out of the oven '3 award winner' Kevin Cheng got into a car accident in Central at 8:30am while he was driving back to TVB City. At the time, he was driving alone back to TVB for work. According to what Kevin told the police, because he wanted to dodge a dog, so he carelessly steered his car up on the curb. The glass from the right side of the hood of his car shattered and also the airbag popped out from the crash. His expensive HK$800,000 luxury car suffered from serious damages, but fortunately Kevin himself was not injured. After the accident, Kevin instantly got out of the car and called the police. He passed the breathe test, quickly called the tow truck and didn't even have time to report the accident to his insurance, since he had to rush back to TVB to continue shooting for Ghetto Justice 2. However, he was forced to miss the first shooting, but later he went to Tsim Tung to shoot a scene with Myolie Wu and Evergreen Mak. Later in the afternoon, he continued in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Recently Kevin has been busy shooting and attending celebrations simultaneously. Although he's on a tight schedule, he still took some time off the other day to attend Toby Leung's wedding. Yesterday morning he went straight back to work and this morning he flew to Singapore for The 16th Asia TV Awards Presentation. On the 20th, he'll be heading to Hengdian to start shooting for new series Hero.

According to TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming), there wasn't just one car accident in TVB yesterday. New series Dangerous Protection crew were headed to Tai Mo San to research the location and the van suddenly lost control and dashed down the hillside. The four staff in the car suffered from light injuries. As for lead actor and actress Bosco Wong and Linda Chung, since the trip wasn't related to performing, they were not required to go, so were not in the van.

Ron Ng's Weibo account used by girlfriend, causes a stir

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Last night, fans were surprised and shocked to read the TVB star's "latest" post on Weibo (aka Chinese twitter). The star himself wasn't in the picture nor he wrote the post, it was his Mainland girlfriend Viann Zhang Xinyu.

"So tired. Don't wanna do anything but sleep after work. Head hurts," wrote the actress.

The picture she posted was on the bed and fans worried whether this is another bed photo incident like Raymond lam.The simple post caused a stir and provoked a fight between fans of both parties. Some claimed Ron was being used and some supported it was a mistake post.

Ron himself chose not to make a public appearance, and only expressed the photo wasn't taken on his bed.

"I have nothing else to say," he said. "I can only said it wasn't taken in my house. Talk about this later."

TVB executive Virginia Lok also explained for Ron, saying Vianna does have the password to the actor's account and the reason behind the post was just wanting more attention from the actor.

Viann's manager, however, expressed it was just a mistake. They will not say more about the incident.

The couple met last year during the filming of Mainland drama "Pretty Maid." Ron always tries to keep his relationship a low-profile, but the girlfriend doesn't buy that. She once exposed her whereabouts in Hong Kong on Weibo and later their relationship was reported. Then earlier Ron was photographed picking her up at the airport and bringing her home. They might not admit their relationship, but it's no longer a secret already.

Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong’s Love Grows More Public; Parents Attend Awards After-Party

Wednesday, December 07, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB’s new TV Queen, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), attended a TVB Anniversary Awards after-party in Wan Chai to celebrate the receipt of triple awards. Myolie’s boyfriend, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), used actions to prove the strength of their relationship. Both Myolie and Bosco’s parents attended the celebration party, turning the event into a “meet the parents” event! With their love relationship becoming increasingly public, Myolie even praised Bosco’s acting at a promotional event yesterday!

After the popular wins of Myolie Wu and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) as Best Actress and Best Actor, they celebrated with their respective fans at TVB City after the Awards ceremony. Later in the evening, Myolie and Kevin attended the Ghetto Justice "怒火街頭" celebratory party. Of course, Myolie’s “supportive” boyfriend, Bosco Wong, also attended the party! Both their parents also attended!

Partying Until 4:00 AM

At 3:00 AM, Bosco Wong left the celebratory party. Myolie Wu and Kevin Cheng partied until 4:00 AM before heading downstairs and complying with press requests for photos. Myolie wished to excuse herself and continue the party. Realizing that numerous reporters were present, Kevin took Myolie aside to pay the bill and leave the venue.

Consuming a heavy amount of alcohol, Myolie Wu was supported by her assistant upon leaving. Myolie said, “It was a lot of fun!” Originally, Myolie was supposed to ride in her assistant’s car, however the vehicle was used to transport JJ Jia (賈曉晨), who had also drank a large amount of alcohol. Myolie rode in a friend’s car instead.

Myolie Wu: “Bosco Wong Will Receive TV King Award Soon!”

Despite partying until dawn, Myolie Wu returned to TVB City in the morning to attend a celebration event for the ideal ratings of Curse of the Royal Harem "萬凰之王", which peaked at 43 points in ratings! In attendance was also Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and Sunny Chan (陳錦鴻).

Asked whether Bosco Wong had proposed to her, Myolie said, “No, of course not!” Asked whether Myolie was waiting for Bosco to win the TV King Award before getting married, Myolie said, “I never thought about it! He is such a good actor; he should be winning the award soon!”

Myolie clarified that she only made a “toilet” statement last night and not a declaration of love in her Best Actress acceptance speech. “Originally, I intended to say that I wanted to share the happiness with him. However, I blurted out that he had flaws and was difficult to get along with.” Loving Bosco, Myolie refused to reveal why Bosco was so difficult to get along with. “I am also difficult to get along with; I am too serious!”

Without halting her frenetic work pace, Myolie resumed filming Ghetto Justice 2 "怒火街頭II" yesterday. The cast and crew congratulated Myolie for winning the Best Actress Award when she appeared at the filming set.

Wishing for Career and Love Luck

In a radio interview with Eileen Cha (查小欣), Myolie said that she wished for luck in her career and love life. Asked why she did not wear the crystal high heels which Bosco gave to her as a birthday gift, Myolie cried shrilly, “My dress was very long; it would not look nice!” Myolie thanked Bosco for his silent support after Myolie lost out at the 2006 Anniversary Awards.

Winning the Extraordinary Elegant Actor and Actress Award with Bosco, Myolie praised Bosco for his style sense. “He has always been extraordinary, so he deserved the award. You can tell by looking at his sense of style!”

Fans Angry That Michael Tse Received No Awards at TVB Anniversary

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Falling from a hot favorite in the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards, “Laughing Sir” Michael Tse (謝天華) ended up winning no awards the evening before. After the conclusion of the awards ceremony, Michael did not accept any press interviews, disappearing from the crowd to go home instead.

Stepping out of his car, Michael flashed a smile. Holding several bags, he explained that he had to work the following morning. Asked whether he was disappointed in the award results, Michael said, “No, I respect the competitive spirit!” Michael’s wife had prepared supper for Michael to eat at home.

After one night of rest, Michael attended a watch store opening in Mongkok. Forcing a smile, Michael appeared calm. Responding initially to reporters, Michael said that he was not disappointed in the Anniversary Award results, “This year I did not get the award; there is still next year and many years to follow!I need to be like Laughing and have an undying spirit!”

Asked again whether he was disappointed, Michael admitted, “Each person will go through such a moment, but it is necessary to quickly resume my spirits and not delve on the negative aspects. One must face the incident and do one’s best! Fala Chen (陳法拉) and I won the Best Onscreen Lover Award in Malaysia. If a similar award were distributed at the TVB Anniversary Awards, I believe that we would have received the award too! In the end, a winner is singled out. However, should the first or second runner-up not be happy?”

Although netizens nicknamed Michael as “Fruitless King” since he did not win any awards at the TVB Anniversary, Michael said that he did not mind. Lives of Omission "潛行狙擊" received the Best Drama Award, so I am considered to have won 1/40th award.”

In a radio interview, Michael mentioned that some fans were upset that he did not win any awards at the TVB Anniversary. Michael had to console his fans for the upset. Asked whether he had attempted to seek understanding of the situation from Virginia Lok (樂易玲), Michael countered, “Why do I need to understand the situation further? Ms. Lok has already used a lot of effort. Some things you already know in your heart; not everything needs a thorough review.”

Audience Filed Complaints

In addition, last night’s awards ceremony resulted in nine complaints filed, including protests that Michael Tse should have been awarded TV King, protests that Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) should not have received the My Favorite Female Character Award. One complaint was filed against Master of Ceremonies, Vincent Wong (王浩信), for his lisping.

Raymond Lam Shocked by Michael Tse’s Loss

Appearing at a music promotional event, Raymond Lam (林峯) said that he had already sent text messages congratulating Kevin Cheng (謝天華) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) for their victories. Raymond indicated that he was surprised by Michael Tse’s lack of winning any awards last night.

When the reporter pointed out that Raymond Lam did not make the Top 5 Finalists in the Best Actor Category, he said, “Yes, that’s right!” (When can you regain lost ground?) “I can focus on doing my own things. I have to prepare for the release of my music album. Next year, I hope to have balanced development across all platforms!” Raymond hoped that he will be chosen for the My Favorite Male Singer Award at the year-end music awards.

Virginia Lok Hugs and Consoles Michael Tse

At a music promotional event with Raymond Lam, Virginia Lok revealed that she had already hugged Michael Tse after the TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony. Ms. Lok said, “He was very good. He said he was not unhappy.” (Did Michael Tse cry?) “He’s Laughing Sir! Of course he will be able to handle it!”

In addition, Ms. Lok denied that Shirley Yeung had requested leave of absence. Ms. Lok said that she did not know whether Shirley was in fact getting married.

Chilam Cheung Supports Michael Tse

At a promotional event yesterday, Chilam Cheung (張智霖) provided words of encouragement for good friend, Michael Tse. “It is most important to participate in a competition. He can win next year!” (Did you console him?) “There is no need to! Michael is a mature actor and knows how to improve further. His movie will be released soon; perhaps he will win the Hong Kong Film Award or Golden Horse Award!”

Kevin Cheng Parties Until 4:30 AM Celebrating Triple Awards

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Winning three awards at the 2011 TVB Anniversary, TV King Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) excitedly shared the victory with fifty fans outside TVB City last night. Fans prepared a cake and a “fourth award” for Kevin, who popped two bottles of champagne in excitement.

After the Anniversary Awards, Kevin posed for some photos for the TVB magazine and headed to Wan Chai at 2 AM, attending the private celebration party organized by Myolie Wu (胡杏兒). In attendance were also Virginia Lok (樂易玲), Sharon Chan (陳敏之), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Koni Lui (呂慧儀), Sire Ma (馬賽), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Johnson Li (李思捷) and numerous other celebrities. Kevin partied until 4:30 AM and staggered away drunk, requiring the support of Ben Wong (黃智賢) when they stepped out.

Yesterday afternoon, Kevin resumed filming Ghetto Justice 2 "怒火街頭II". His face appeared tired and he obviously had a hangover from last night. “Right now, I feel a bit wing wing!”

In an interview with Eileen Cha (查小欣), Kevin discussed his fe elings upon receiving three awards at the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards. “Last night, I was very surprised. I felt it was okay in receiving the My Favorite Male Character Award and it was a pleasant surprise to receive the Best Actor Award. When the results for Best Actor were announced, my heart was beating very quickly. My brain blanked out when I received the Best Actor Award, which is why my acceptance speech was a bit disorganized.

“Michael Tse (謝天華) also possessed a high chance in winning Best Actor, as his performance was very good. There was also a chance that Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) would win the award for the third time. As a result, my mood was quite unsteady.” Kevin considered that he might lose. Wearing a bright red suit at the awards ceremony, Kevin joked, “If I were to lose, I should not lose in the wardrobe department!”

In 2006, Kevin Cheng won the TVB Best Actor Award for his performance in Under the Canopy of Love "天幕下的戀人", sparking extreme controversy. This year, Kevin finally shone in his [well-deserved win]. Kevin said, “After receiving the award in 2006, I was attacked. At the time, I vowed that if I were to receive another award, it is necessary to receive the majority consensus. Five years later, I finally accomplished this goal!” Indicating that there were many years left in his TVB contract, Kevin denied extending his contract for the awards.

However, he felt surprise that Michael Tse got nothing. Raymond was asked of how he didn't even make it on Top 5? Raymond said: "Yes! (When will you recover your lost territory?) Then I can just continue doing my own thing. I have to prepare for my new album. In the upcoming year, I hope to have a balance development in every area." Toby Leung holds a 53 table star-studded wedding banquet

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

TVB executive Tommy Leung's daughter Toby Leung and millionaire Aaron Wong were not even together for a year yet and already decided to get married. Earlier they already went through their marriage registration and yesterday they held a 53 table wedding banquet at InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel. TVB Chairwman Mona Fong, new boss Chan Kwok Keung, Norman Leung, Stephen Chan and other executives attended the banquet. Toby's wedding was surely a star-studded banquet as many artists attended including: Alan Tam, Nick Cheung, Louis Koo, Anita Yuen, Christine Ng, Michael Miu, Jamie Chik, Felix Wong, Nat Chan, Roger Kwok, Cindy Au, Michael Tse, Fala Chen, Raymond Lam, Charmaine Sheh, Tavia Yeung, Kate Tsui, Edwin Siu, Ron Ng, Kevin Cheng, Niki Chow, Amigo Chiu, Natalie Tong, Sharon Chan, Joyce Tang, Derek Kwok, Timmy Hung and many more. It was much more star-studded than the TVB Anniversary!

Toby, who owns a wedding planning company herself, carefully planned her own wedding using winter and snow as the theme. When asked if her wedding cost nearly a million? She laughed: "Basically the arrangements were all from my own company and my husband's tuxedo was sponsored."

The bridesmaids and groomsmen was enormous. The bridesmaids included Charmaine Sheh, Janet Chow, Angela Tong, Natalie Tong, Florence Kwok, Margaret Chung and more. The only groomsmen from showbiz were Jimmy Lam and Wallace Chung. To escort the bride, the groom and his brothers accepted to take on three obstacles, which included eating and drinking sweet, sour, bitter and spicy foods. The groom had to chug down white vinegar, pickled tofu, bitter melon and hot chili. Aaron gulped it all down in one go. When Aaron declared his love, Toby was so touched she teared up, but Florence teased him saying he was stuttering when he mentioned "cannot pursue any other girl". When asked how much the red envelope was? Angela laughed: "It is more amazing than the TVB Anniversary prizes! Over 100,000, but there is also over 100,000 remaining that he hasn't paid yet." She did not reveal the actual number.

Toby was very grateful that Charmaine Sheh made a special trip back to HK from Mainland to attend her wedding. When asked if she's going to be concentrating entirely on making a Dragon baby? She said: "Let nature take its course. I am very busy with my wedding planning company. It will only be June of next year before I have time to go on my honeymoon and think about children."

Myolie Wu clarifies 'restroom declaration' wasn't a love confession

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

TVB Anniversary Awards 2011 ended the night before. The hot favorites Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu were crowned the new TV King and Queen and won the majority of audiences' agreement. However, there are still a group of audience that felt pity for 'Laughing Gor' Michael Tse leaving empty-handed. There were also complaints to TVB that the results were unfair.

That night, Myolie personally forked out some money for a celebration. She and Kevin, the cast and crew of Ghetto Justice, Virgina Lok, Bosco Wong, Joyce Cheng and her boyfriend were partying until 4am. Bosco's mother was also present to take a look at her future daughter-in-law. JJ Jia, who is currently shooting Ghetto Justice 2 was so happy for Myolie that she got drunk. When she was leaving, she was slightly out of control while she was getting into Myolie's car.

Unhappy times, luckily Bosco was there

Yesterday afternoon, Myolie attended the Curse of the Royam Harem celebration, she laughed and expressed her acceptance speech at the awards show was not a love confession. It is just a 'restroom declaration'. Myolie said: "I actually wanted to say I want to share the happiness with him (Bosco), but I blurted out he was hard to bear first." She admitted that day when she heard Bosco Wong joking to reporters that he's going to run to the restoom when they announce her TV Queen award, she felt slightly unhappy. Perhaps she's took things too seriously, but fortunately Bosco didn't actually leave for the restroom. Asked what is so hard to bear between her and Bosco? She said she is too serious, while Bosco is not serious enough. Now that she fulfilled her TV Queen wish, is the next step marriage planning? She said she has honestly never thought about it, but is actually focused on her work. Does she want Bosco to get TV King too? She said: "He's so good at acting, should be soon!"

In 2006, Myolie was nominated for TV Queen for her role in To Grow With Love, but sadly lost in the competition. Thereafter, she had a period of down time. She said that time everyone thought she wanted to fight for the award, which made the whole situation so serious. She knew herself that she wasn't qualified enough. Later after portraying many different roles, she felt it was hard to make a breakthrough and it felt like she hit a black hole. It was only until when she was shooting The Rippling Blossom with Chilam Cheung and Damian Lau that she felt a new life started. She said during the times she was unhappy, Bosco had been closely bearing with her. Asked if she officially recognized her relationship with Bosco when she got the TV Queen title? Myolie laughed and said she had recognized it.

Kevin said his heart was beating fast when they announced he won the TV King award. He expressed the competition this year is very strong, there were too many possibilities. He is most happy with how people agreed to him getting TV King this time.

Audience: Vincent Wong lacks intelligent speaking skills; 14 complaints on TVB Award results

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
This year, TVB produced "3 award winners" Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu, but unfortunately the ratings did not peak because of that. According to TVB Deputy Directory of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming), the show got an average rating of 38 points, peaking at 41 points (about 2.62 million viewers) when Nat Chan was presenting the 'Best Programme Host Award'. When the TV King and Queen awards were announced, the show got about 39 points. The entire show itself did just as well as in the past years.

Also TVB received 10 complaints on the awards show. There was 1 complaint on the MC Vincent Wong, that he lacked intelligent speaking skills. The other 9 complaints were on audience disagreeing with the results. TV King should have gone to Michael Tse and Myolie Wu shouldn't have won 'My Favorite TV Female Character Award'. The Broadcasting Authority received an additional 5 complaints, viewers were displeased by how unfair the results were.

Fala Chen & Michael Tse not disappointed for getting no awards

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments
Michael Tse and Fala Chen both lost the TV King and Queen awards, yesterday the two attended an event together as usual. Fala expressed she does not feel disappointed: "I'm already very happy to have over hundred people vote for me. My experiences in this industry is very small, I have to congratulate Myolie." Earlier Michael and Fala won Malaysia Astro's My Favorite TV On-Screen Couple Award. She said: "Because of this role (Madam Jo), I got more work to do, shooting sequels and films. Left a deep impression on viewers' hearts, I consider myself a winner."

Also, it was rumored Fala withdrew from grand production The Prominent Family because Tavia Yeung took the first female lead role, while she only gets the second female lead, but Fala denied: "I really hope to collaborate with her, but my health is most important after all. I'm currently just finishing up the work I have on hand and then I'll be taking a break back in the States."

When speaking of Michael's decline in popularity? He said: "There are always a few outstanding candidates in a competition. Ultimately there will be a winner and a loser. You can't be upset and give up just because you didn't win. (Netizens crowned you as 'Bak Gor Wah'?) I don't mind, perhaps its the fans of others. Also Lives of Omission did get Best Drama." He laughed and said yesterday he had a 6am schedule , so the other night he went straight home to sleep. Asked if his wife felt unhappy? He said: "My wife just watches my reaction. It's nothing much for me. If I look worried, then people would talk about me. If I don't feel anything, people say I'm pretending. In fact, it's not the end of the world if I don't get the award. Don't have to be so negative."
