A news report claimed TVB and HKRIA - Big 4 record labels - finally settled the royalty disputes. TVB makes the greatest compromise by allowing their contracted singers appear on other TV stations. In the coming days, TVB will hold a press conference to announce the details. Yesterday TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming) expressed: "Both sides have sincere intentions to settle the issue. NowTV's executive (Ho Lai Chuen) publicly reveals the royalty dispute will be settled before the TVB Anniversary. Has the notice for the compromise been received? Mr. Tsang said: "TVB wants to emphasize, copyright and contract are two independent matters, cannot be confused with one another. Of course, we hope to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
