Netizens find flaws right when Men with No Shadows premieres
Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Raymond Lam and Bobby Au Yeung's new series Men with No Shadows premiered yesterday. The scene where Raymond takes a bite out of an apple was said before of being a copy off of Japanese film Death Note. After Netizens saw the similar apple scene, they also discovered another flaw. The scene was about Bobby's role as Kong Tung Kin getting into a car accident, but after the crash the model of the car was clearly different. Netizens teased that TV productions are limited, and can't even crash a car after all.
The story last night was about how Bobby came back to life after the car accident. Although after the crash, the car was still white in color and the license plate number was the same, but Netizens with sharp eyes discovered the model differs.
As for if Men with No Shadows plagiarized or not, Netizens felt there is an assertion that an apple is a forbidden fruit, which symbolizes a devil. Raymond plays a devil that eats apples, which is very normal, but it is strange that he eats bananas too. There were also Netizens that said the plot of the series is somewhat similar to TVB's old production You Only Live Twice, Meet Joe Black and Net Deception.
