Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) due to her role in THE LADY as the opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been blacklisted by the Myanmar government and deported from Yangon earlier.

According to a Myanmar official, Yeung Chi King will not have a chance to enter Myanmar again. Last year upon arriving in the Yangon airport, she was arranged to take a flight to depart Myanmar because she was blacklisted. The Myanmar official did not say why she was blacklisted.
