The young pop singer G.E.M held a 3 show concert in Hong Kong Coliseum and the last show was yesterday. G.E.M's performance was still at standards during the last show and not got off-key in her singing. Unfortunately, rumored boyfriend Yoga Lin did not appear to support her after all. GEM expressed that she has no regrets after having a HK Coliseum concert, but when she was thanking her manager and late grandmother, she teared up on stage. In the touching moment, GEM hopes that she can hold a part 2 HK Coliseum concert.
When GEM expressed she has to thank a very important person, many fans shouted rumored boyfriend Yoga Lin's name loudly, but GEM said seriously: "I am remembering a person who passed away." Instead, the audience laughed loudly, GEM asked confused: "What are you all laughing about?" She said she is thankful of her late grandmother and her grandfather and uncle for making a special trip from Shanghai to support her. GEM left an empty seat besides her grandfather for her grandmother, believing that her grandmother will be able to enjoy her concert too. GEM then sang and played the song You Raise Me Up, and was tearing up nonstop.
Later, GEM emotionally thanked her manager's guidance, allowing her to successfully storm in the music industry. Again, GEM teared up while she said this. She said in tears: "3 years ago, I was just 16 years old, my manager discovered me and I entered the music industry. This is also my first job after exams. At the time, my manager accepted shows for me, I just had 2 songs, but had to perform for 45 minutes. So I performed other singers' songs very sloppily, but the audience sill cheered and applaud . Later, my manager scolded me for an hour. Without my manager's indulgence, there would not be the me today."
GEM recalls when she was in second grade, she went to HK Coliseum to watch Aaron Kwok's concert and because the next day she had school, she left the concert early. However, she said that night, at the end of the concert it was still a full house, no one left early. Because it was the concert's last show, GEM was a little unwilling to go, so she did Encore twice before ending the show.
