Saturday, November 27, 2010 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Yesterday Niki Chow attended a magazine awards ceremony and expressed that she will hold the autograph session to her new album F.L.Y soon, only autographs and pictures will be accepted, hugs and kisses cannot be asked, no exceptions. She reveals that recently there has been a fan online asking her for an autograph session that includes hugs and kisses. She felt that as a girl, she can still accept hugs, but not from male fans. Kisses definitely cannot happen. Niki said displeased: "Perhaps Mainland fans want to be closer to me, fans have lots of requests and even sound like they are scolding me: 'It's popular in Taiwan, you're not doing it?'"

These 'fire breathing' fans, is she afraid to lose them as fans? Niki stressed that she is a singer, she does not want to have body contact with people. She said seriously: "If some people are buying my album in exchange for conditions, then I cannot accept it. Can't threaten me!" On the day of the autograph session, will she have more security for protection, in preparation for forceful fans? Niki said she won't because she will try to fulfill as much fan requests as possible that is under her limits.

Moses Chan admits "TVB biological son" is a benefit to TV King

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Moses Chan is this year's hot favorite for TV King depended on TVB series Can't Buy Me Love. Yesterday he attended a magazine awards ceremony and couldn't hide how desperate he wants an award. He said that though he personally supports his opponent Wayne Lai, but if he wins he'll be even happier and admits that being TVB biological son is a benefit. He said: "This year I'm pretty lucky, had high rated and public praised series, and many advertisements. Pretty good momentum, good chance to get the award! Wayne is my idol, I support him, if he wins I'll be happy, but if I win, I'll be even happier!"

Asked if TVB is biased on their biological sons? Moses frankly said: "Cannot say it like that, but cannot say it isn't a help either." He said that if want to win TV King, besides having the popularity, there also needs to be good acting and social circle. Earlier "fire breathing" Felix Wong didn't really have a good social circle? Moses said: "He has been the Best Actor in our hearts for several years, has his glamor and he definitely has a chance to get the award. (TVB letting him be in the top 5, is to stop the fire?) No." It was rumored that Charmaine Sheh wanted to boost her luck and audience fate, and was cheated HK$180,000 by someone? Moses isn't sure if Charmaine is superstitious, but he felt that she already has audience fate, he hopes to win TV King and Queen with her.

Gigi Leung Has a Date With New Beau

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Several months after she announced her split with French boyfriend of four years, it seems Gigi Lai has found another right man to be in a romantic relationship: Matthew.

Coincidence or not, Matthew, whose full name is Dolbow Matthew Steven, is also a foreigner. He stands 6 feet tall, which matches the 5'8 Gigi very well, and is quite a handsome man. Not only he is good looking, he also have a good job. He is currently a consul for the U.S Consulate General in Hong Kong and speaks for the consulate often.

The couple fell in love quickly after they were introduced by friends. But they keep their relationship in low-profile and rarely date in public. It was until yesterday reporters spotted the two in a date at a coffee shop. Gigi and a female friend arrived at the coffee shop where Matthew was waiting. The singer naturally went to her boyfriend and sat next to him. Happily in love, she did not mind even if there was a third party at the date.

After about 30 minutes, they decided to leave and Gigi's female friend left first to give some space to the couple. The two did not mind about other people looking at them and even walked closer and closer together.

Reporters asked Gigi the identity of the foreigner she just went out with, and she sweetly said: "My friend!." But she denied his status as her boyfriend.

It is tough when it comes to love for Gigi. In 1999, she was criticized for breaking her former boyfriend Ekin Cheng's previous relationship with TVB actress Maggie Siu. She and Ekin eventually went to separate ways 7 years later. Then this year, she announced the break-up with her French boyfriend and it was rumored the reason is because her mom disagreed in having a foreigner son-in-law.

Linda Chung Ka Yan and Raymond Lam Fung appeared in Reno on November 24,2010 for their press conference and to meet with their fans before their Thanksgiving Concert held on November 25,2010 in Reno. This must be a special and “sweet” scene not easily seen in Hong Kong as this long rumoured couple in romance has been the talk of the town for quite some time. The level of suspense is still stirring as Raymond continues to have other rumoured girl friends in his life! Most of the fans had great compliments of Linda being a natural beauty even with light make up on. Linda in a grayish patterned sweater simply looks pure and lovely just like “the girl next door” and Raymond with a baseball cap and glasses does look like “the boy next door” !

After their Reno concert, Raymond will be heading to Vancouver for his concert to be held in Vancouver on November 30,2010.

Michael Miu: Felix Wong's 'Fire Breathing" is heroic

Friday, November 26, 2010 Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Yesterday the cast to Gun Metal Grey attended the promotional event, including Felix Wong, Michael Miu, Jessica Hsuan and Nancy Wu.

Recently Felix Wong has been named "Fire Breathing Wah", when reporters pursued the question about how he's feeling now? He smiled and said: "Have always been good, been in a good mood from beginning to end of shooting Gum Metal Grey. I didn't start any 'fire'. (Just fire breathing?) You all didn't see my appearance, I was just expressing my opinions as an audience, I was just speaking from my mind. I wrote out whatever I felt comfortable with, Hong Kong has freedom of speech. (Will you go on Scoop?) I received a phone call last night, I will go. So difficult to make a series, artists definitely have to participate in the promotions. (Do you feel that this time, it's TVB's appeasement or trying to fix the situation?) It's hard to say. No Regrets is broadcasting their finale this week, have to arrange time for other series, at least there's the heart, putting the effort to do each situation. (Feeling better now?) I already said I wasn't firing, just my writing was a little heavy."

Felix expressed that he has not decided whether to attend the TVB awards ceremony or not, everything is on Michael Miu because Michael is the group's leader. When asked who he supports for TV King, Felix did not support Michael, he said: "I support Wayne Lai, Sheren Tang, Evergreen Mak and Nancy Wu to win awards. No Regrets is a drama in the big era, very attractive. (What about Can't Buy Me Love?) It's rather difficult to get an award depended on a comedy."

Michael praised Felix's speak of mind, is a hero that has good temper. He definitely supports his good friend. Is he planning to attend the awards ceremony? Michael said: "I don't know if I'm invited, haven't received the invitation yet. Perhaps I didn't make it in, so don't need to go."

Jessica Hsuan and Michael have been strongly supporting Felix in the last few days and working hard on promoting the series. Jessica was showing her career line during the game play with audience. She felt that Felix's firing had his reasons, but does not know if TVB invited him to attend the anniversary or not, it is more of an issue of respect. She said: "Actually I already knew about TVB's mechanism, if no promotions, then go do it ourselves. Also, I never thought the series will be an anniversary series. However, I have been notified by TVB to go on Scoop for an interview. I'm currently cutting jobs, if I can handle it, I will do it, if not then I will leave. I completely understand Felix wants good for the series."

Wayne Lai & Sheren Tang increase publicity for No Regrets finale

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Yesterday Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang accepted an interview by RTHK and promoted the finale week for No Regrets. Although No Regrets average ratings has not surpassed Charmaine Sheh and Moses Chan's Can't Buy Me Love, Wayne still hopes to beat Jewels In The Palace's highest record. He said: "No reason to hand over the highest rating success to other people, hope everyone can give more support to the local TV series productions."

Sheren expressed that she admired Wong Cho Lam's funny version of No Regrets called "Righteous Sea of Pride" at the TVB Anniversary Gala. Towards Cho Lam's performance, Sheren is full of praises: "He's not defaming me, I do not mind whatsoever, Cho Lam was really funny, his expressions were really similar. If in the future I don't have time to film series, he can replace me." Sheren expressed that she has already made arrangements in her schedule to come back and attend the TVB Anniversary Awards. Asked if she was notified that she won the award, so she decided to attend? Sheren and Wayne expressed together that even in the very last moment, they don't know the results.

About Felix Wong's anger towards TVB not giving enough promotion to Gun Metal Grey? Wayne expressed that he does not know the details, but hopes everyone can understand that the responsible department for the TVB Anniversary, Wayne said: "The anniversary's main focus is funny gimmicks and it's hard to account for every series."

Sheren expressed that No Regrets and Gun Metal Grey are the same, both have 2 promotional events each. It's just that Wayne has recently been attending more activities on his own causing misunderstanding that No Regrets got more promotions. It was said that TVB is trying to fix the situation and added more promotions for GMG? Sheren said: "Speak up and becomes an importance, it's a good thing."

Raymond Lam highest online votes for TV King; Felix Wong makes Top 5

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

TVB Anniversary Awards will be held on December 5, 2010. Gun Metal Grey was neglected earlier at the anniversary show, angering 'Fire Breathing' Felix Wong, byt TVB 'called him back' and made Felix one of the top 5 TV King candidates.

This tactic by TVB is the best of both worlds, in addition to appeasing Felix, they are also able to create another topic in the news, seriously a good tactic. For the semifinals, Raymond Lam who received written support from boss Mona Fong is nominated for the accused plagiarism The Mysteries of Love. Wayne Lai's acting is superb in the highly popular No Regrets and there is "biological son" Steven Ma in for Ghost Writer.

Neitzens also have the same views for TV King top 5 candidates, but Raymond Lam has the most votes on the internet poll with 1,627 votes, while Wayne only has 1,161 votes.

Michael Miu causes the 'peach blossoms' (rumors), helps Sonjia Kwok settle it

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Yesterday Michael Miu and Sonjia Kwok appeared in a restaurant in Central for the shooting of a "family of three" scene in new series Men & Women Chooses Residence. They were shooting the scene for several hours, it was only seen that both Michael and Sonjia were serious into acting. When the two were eating pasta with their daughter in the series, Michael said: "No problem, eat slowly!" As the 'mother' Sonjia attentively rehearsed the scene with her daughter, the two had great chemistry and did not get affected by the rumors.

After filming, Michael and Sonjia Kwok took pictures together and made several funny poses for reporters. When asked how Sonjia felt about spreading rumors again, she appeared helpless, even Michael couldn't help, but answer for her: "So that's why I have to help her break the injustice!" Michael joked that because they are playing a married couple for many years, they don't have much intimate scenes. Sonjia only knew about reporters being at the set when Michael mentioned it to her.

Actually Michael already had rumors due to holding hands before, even his wife Jamie Chik teased that he loves to 'hold hands'! Three years ago, he and Toby Leung were photographed holding hands during filming of The Drive of Life, then rumors of "Cross-Aged Love" started. Asked if he feels helpless having these rumors again? Sonjia then said to him: "You are the one causing all the peach blossoms!" Then the two started joking with each other, appearing like good buddies.

Felix Wong neglected, Virgina Lok salutes to put out fire

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

For the last few days, Felix Wong has been exploding about how TVB doesn't value his performance in Gun Metal Grey (GMG). The cast didn't get invited to the anniversary celebration, eventually he couldn't hold it anymore and burst at the responsible department. The TVB Anniversary producer (Wai Sai Fai) and Production Director (Ho Lai Chuen) both expressed their stance, but Felix's anger did not die down. In the end, Virgina Lok had to come out to settle it.

Virgina Lok said: "There's not much about Felix Wong, he just has a dictating personality when there is injustice. He is not angered at TVB, earlier I asked him to guest star in the Lunar New Year film I Love Hong Kong and he instantly agreed to take part in it. However, after Felix finishes losing his temper, it's over because No Regrets aired earlier than GMG, so it may feel like No Regrets is getting more promotions, but there will be more promotions for GMG later. Felix is deeply loved by TVB!"

It was said thatr after Felix's burst, he will still be attending the upcoming GMG promotion, but has not decided whether or not he'll attend the awards ceremony. Earlier he accepted an interview by TVB's entertainment news, and expressed that he came back this time for GMG was because of Michael Miu. He praised that there are sparks with the other cast and he's been chasing the series every night. When watching one of the emotional scenes, he cried four times in one night. Felix's 'acting addiction' does not compare to the past, currently he's living a half-retired life and sees the awards in a calm manner.

Bernice Liu so many kiss scenes with Roger Kwok, no time to report to Moses Chan

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Bernice Liu, Roger Kwok and Michelle Yim attended the TVB sitcom Show Me The Happy promotional event yesterday. The sitcom is scheduled to air on November 29th and has been hurrying the filming, even through the TVB Anniversary Gala. Nonce of the cast attended the anniversary celebration due to this, Roger said: "Sometimes it's hard with our work schedule, many times we see the 'fortune turn into water', but no choice. Later for the awards ceremony, I've already been scheduled earlier to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Malaysia."

As for Michelle, on the night of the anniversary, she saw Chun Wong, Ha Yu and everyone else put so much effort in the performance, it was a good watch. She also really hoped to participate in the performances. As for the awards ceremony, still scheduling.

In the sitcom, Roger expressed that he has several kiss scenes with Bernice. Asked if he got rusty since he hasn't done these scenes for a while? He joked: "Yeah! (Your wife didn't ask about it?) Of course my wife won't ask, we have a very stabled relationship." As for Bernice, she frankly said that she's already 'accustomed' to filming with Roger, she said: "We had to kiss several times in 1 week. Sometimes, it can get intense too with body contact. (Did you put pressure on Roger?) At first it was Roger pressuring on me, but then later I was the one pressuring on him." Asked if Roger is good to kiss? She frankly said: "OK! But, when we're out shooting outdoors, he's always eating strong foods, like curry or garlic. (Between coffee and garlic, what is your pick?) Both has very strong flavours, both coffee and garlic are ok. (Did you have to report the scenes to Moses Chan before shooting?) not necessary this series can't report in time!"

Sonjia Kwok denies releasing love sparks on Michael Miu: "I still have marry"

Tuesday, November 23, 2010 Posted by lucychoi559 1 comments

Sonjia Kwok and Michael Miu are recently playing as a married couple in TVB new series Men and Women Chooses Residence. It's been two months since they started shooting and rumors started saying that Sonjia have been letting out the love for Michael. Outside of the series, the two are holding hands and dating, forcing Michael's wife Jamie Chik to always have to visit the set to check on them.

Michael sends out people to investigate

Michael and Sonjia were both shooting in different locations yesterday, Sonjia was shooting for a scene in the evening with Linda Chung in Mong Kok, while Michael went back to Tseung Kwan O TVB City to shoot in the studio. As for stirring up rumors again, Sonjia said with a sigh: "I am not responding, the news is so fake, I don't want to help promote their magazine story, I have no comment." Michael did not avoid to respond: "Gun Metal Grey's Team A needs to go out to investigate, find some forensic evidence too...haha! Just treat it as free promotion, just for laughs." Sonjia saw the response and instantly said: "Exactly, as long as everyone knows what's going on, I still have to marry!"

Used to seeing such 'storms' Michael was completely unaffected by the rumors. Yesterday he continued to have a heartwarming time with his wife Jamie, he said over the phone: "Jamie isn't mad, actually she's more worried about affecting Sonjia. We are married couple in the series, but at first my collaboration with Sonjia was very strange, she honestly told me that it is really pressuring to work with me because in the past she always had negative rumors with her male co-stars. So usually she would not dare to go near me. I told her not to worry, usually when we are working I always tell Jamie to comr join us for our meals, to make Sonjia feel more comfortable."

Jamie Chik helps out on the explanation

Besides Michael was his wife Jamie, she helped out and said over the phone: "I knew Sonjia for over 10 years. When she first entered the industry, she was a spokesperson for an eye glasses store, I felt that this girl was very gentle and speaks quietly. It's a pity that she's always getting negative news." Jamie then teased Michael in a 'dai sei' manner that he likes to hold people's hands. She joked: "He even holds the hair combing lady. When I'm shooting a series and I hold the leading actor's hand, should Michael be so pissed off like a jumping live shrimp?"

Burglary in Cecilia Cheung's company, computers stolen with her personal information & photos

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

A recent bulglary occurred in Cecilia Cheung's management company, where three computers were stolen. The computer had Cecilia's work photos, family photos, her contract with the company and other confidential and personal information. Now that it is being used unlawfully, the outcomes are unthinkable. Lately, Cecilia has been busy going back and forth from Mainland and Hong Kong filming and has been accompanied by her manager. About the burglary, she only found out about it when the police department contacted her.

Reporters contacted Cecilia's manager (ms. Chow) about the incident. She expressed that the police notified her a few days ago, and told her it was a series of burglaries that happened in Cecilia's company office as well as other units nearby. The police already went to the office for investigations and found many fingerprints. Asked if Cecilia knows (Worried the burglars will take the confidential information and sell it to the media unlawfully?) She is not worried, and even said if they do that, can help the police solve the case quicker!"

Cecilia is cureently busy shooting for two movies, one in Mainland Fighter Yang's Heroines and in Hong Kong All Wells, Ends Well 2011. Because she is very busy with filming, she fell ill. Later, she will have to fly back to Inner Mongolia to shoot Yang right after she finishes with All Wells, Ends Well 2011. Cecilia's manager prepared her with heaters, thick down coats, special shoe warmers and a thousand of warm packages to prepare for the extreme bitter cold in Mongolia.

Carina Lau suffers 20 hours without rest, due to Donnie Yen?

Carina Lau is recently busy shooting for Pegasus Motion Picture's All Well, Ends Well 2011. She expressed that for 20 hours she did not rest and implied that it is due to having to rush the scenes with Donnie Yen. Yesterday, Carina, Donnie, Louis Koo, Maggie Lee, Ciwi Lam, Irene Wong and producer Wong Bak Ming attended the movie's press conference. Cecilia Cheung did not attend because she was sick. Carina Lau said: "I was thinking for a long time last night, I can't be suffering like this. I can handle it, but I'm afraid the results won't turn out good. Not enough sleep, lack of oxygen, luckily the dialogue is very funny, so I can laugh."

Asked if it was because of Donnie's several movies scheduled that are overlapping that cause the rush? Carina said: "Should be, definitely rushing him, it's a busy period for him. I am actually not that busy." Donnie explained: "In fact, my schedule is not overlapped, it's just one movie after another. This year it's only 3 movies, not counting the one I'm starting tomorrow." After Carina heard this, she said: "Huh? Another one? Exactly like that. Really have to calculate the overtime money."

Seeing this, Donnie did some sweet talking: "Actually Carina Jeh is a very good actress, very playful, pretty and young. It's rare for her to accept filming movies." Carina replied: "Thank you for picking me!"
