Gillian Chung gives "first kiss" to William Chan who wasn't willing to stop

Thursday, January 07, 2010 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Gillian Chung, William Chan, Michelle Wai and the rest of the cast including producer Chapman To and the director attended EEG's new film "Former 前度" blessing ceremony. EEG's boss Albert Yeung also came to support, which clearly shows this film is a big production. Chapman praised that the acting from the cast was amazing, especially female lead Ah Gil who had a Bob haircut along with high heels. Mr. Yeung praised that she's so pretty that he'll faint.

Ah Gil reveals that in the new film, she plays William's girlfriend, having many kiss and bed scenes. She also gave her first on-screen kiss to him: "When the director called cut, I had to immediately push him away, the second time he backed off himself. After a few more kisses, he was pretty good to kiss. The bed scenes are still undergoing changes, it won't be pornographic." She then laughed and said that William and Michelle will have even more heated kiss scenes. Asked if she's worried that her film cannot be shown in Mainland? She said: "It's an artistic film, the main focus is the Hong Kong market."

William laughed and said that because Ah Gil gave her first kiss to him, looks like the kiss was filled with brain fire, he said: "I'm honored to take Ah Gil and Michelle's 'first time', even if there was no fee, I would still do it! (Who are you more heated with?) Michelle. We kissed more than 10 times and still had to keep going after 4 hours! From the bathroom to the corridor, living room to the sofa. My back was hurting after filming." Michelle laughed: "Kissed so much that my lips felt scraped. We were rolling around so much that our legs were bruised and we had to do it with many movements too." William said that he's usually filming in his underwear for most of the film. To show off his acting career, he has won Charlene Choi, Ah Gil, Michelle and Vivien Chow's 'first time' in different styles. Speaking of Michelle's breakthrough scene of revealing her full back, she said: "I didn't dare to watch the play back, when the Director called cut, I started crying."

(Is it hopes to win awards during year end?) It is not related. I’ve come across good scripts and most important is happy during filming progress. (How do you reward yourself?) Mega production of era-time love relationship n 'Gu Cheng Wang Shi' casting leads Michelle Ye and Xing Jiadong, is currently being rapidly filmed in Zhejiang Hengdian Movie Studio. Female lead Michelle Ye has heavy screen time as she will be playing two roles alone, thus is unable to return to Hong Kong to celebrate Christmas and New Year with her friends and family, celebrating it with the filming crew instead. The difference for her was that over hundred of fans were gathered in Hengdian, and they lit hundreds of sky lanterns (kong ming deng / hung ming dang), celebrating New Year with Michelle Ye at filming site.

However, due to Michelle Ye's busy and tight filming schedule, fans could only wait patiently in the cold. Esther Kwan plays against Michelle Yim in "The Season of Fate"

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Salty, sour, bitter, spicy and finally sweet are the best expression to describe the "Five flavors of life" in TVB upcoming series "The Season of Fate". In this series, Esther plays against Michelle Yim and Roger Kwok. Since Esther gave birth to her daughter Brittany in 2006, she put aside her career development to a halt to stay at home as much as she can to be with her daughter. She even stopped working on "Best Selling Secret" half way through the series, so that she could spend more time with Brittany. Last year producer Cheung Kin Man once again invited her to return on screen to do "The Season of Fate". Esther liked that role so much and the timing was right too, so she agreed. Cheung said "Esther likes the role very much, when she read the script, she accepted that role straight away. Everybody knows she is very particular about caring for her daughter, it happened that Nick Cheung (her husband) had some spare time in between his work, the main carer's role has landed on Nick's shoulder. Esther can now relax and concentrate working on this series."

In "The Season of Fate", Esther plays a miserable Lin Sheung Chun who was forced to married into the Kwan's family as a concubine. Unfortunately, her husband died suddenly and his first wife, (played by Michelle Yim) had mental illnesses, having the mentality of a 16 year old girl. Chun took over the restaurant business as well as looking after the family and the first wife.

The first episode of "The Season of Fate" will commence next Monday.

I know this year there are many singers who have gone to Macau for countdown shows, so just now the harbor was filled with people. It was only when I arrived at the hotel that I realized there were over thousands of people waiting to show their support. I look forward to releasing my next album, so I could come to Macau more often to do shows. I hope in 2010 that everything will go smoothly, but more importantly are good health and happiness."

Same songs broadcast on TVB day and night; Hacken Lee & Hins Cheung large impact during TVB-HKRIA dispute

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Next Saturday (the 16th), "Jade Soild Gold Top Ten Music Awards" ceremony will be held. As the "Big 4" record companies had not settle their copyright disputes with TVB yet, Eason Chan, Kay Tse, Hacken Lee, Hins Cheung, Fiona Sit and the rest of the Big 4 singers will be absent from the ceremony. Due to this the ceremony will significantly lose its entertainment and stars.

Its understood that in the past, TVB allowed singers to independently shoot MVs and then broadcast on their station, but because of the financial crisis last year, revenue has to increase somehow. In response, TVB approached the record companies, in order to promote their songs on their station, TVB must be responsible to shoot a seperate MV, but the production fees are left to the record companies' to handle.

Since TVB is the largest television station in a monopoly, the record companies had no choice but to accept. However, the Big 4 (Universal, Warner, Sony Music and EMI) planned to introduce the MVs to other television stations, but TVB striked again reminding the Big 4 that the MVs by their singers could only be broadcast by TVB and cannot be broadcast on other stations. Big 4 decided to stop all MV productions and self-produce them to provide to the Karaoke market, otherwise they will lose that source of income as well.

Hins Cheung and the group MR. had lost their upcoming HK Coliseum concert promotion on TVB, while TVB 'god sons' Hacken Lee and Jason Chan both experiences heavy impact without promotion on TVB.

EEG songs broadcast over and over again

Due to the reduced amount of promoting songs, in the recent days TVB gold song selections had only included EEG artists. Gillian Chung's new song "心多", Sherman Chung's "從前流淚光" and Charlene Choi's "放得低" had been broadcasting on TVB day and night over and over. Eason Chan, Kay Tse and Jason Chan's new hits clearly had no chance in making gold song because they didn't have a TVB MV produced.

Stephy Tang doesn't want strong storms at Gold Label: "Alex Fong did not give poison shots"

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Stephy Tang had always been surrounded with gossips. After her enemy Theresa Fu leaving Gold Label, her fall-out opponents went from Theresa to rumored boyfriend Alex Fong. Recently magazines have reported that Alex and Stephy's relationship started fading last year as Alex began pursuing model Rainbow. Afterwards, Stephy saw that her rumors with Alex was not helping herself, so she took the initiative to break it off. As for Alex, he also went to complain to Gold Label's young master Ronald Cheng about Stephy. He then teamed up with Edmond Leung and Kary Ng to boycott her. Now Stephy has become the main focus in Gold Label.

Yesterday Stephy attended a press conference and was asked about the rumors of Alex's "poison shot" on her. She laughed and said that she does not feel she got a poison shot: "I don't want to explain so much, the rumors have been going on for so many years! I just feel that someone wants Gold Label to continue its strong storm! Actually I'm so confused, first it was Theresa and I not getting along and now it switched to Alex. Alex and I have always collaborated very well, but now we're said to be enemies!" Stephy recalls Mark Lui's acceptance's speech during the "Chik Chak Music Awards", he said that there has been many things happening in Gold Label in the recent years, but actually there is absolutely no storms going on within the company. We only need all of the company to be united then that is good enough. She strongly stressed: "Absolutely none of this had happened, I hope people can stop picking on my company!"

TVB Series reveals the dark side of HK entertainment circle

Posted by Admin 1 comments
TVB Series reveals dark side of HK entertainment circle involving Liza Wang, Jessica Hsuan, Michelle Ye, Jill Vidal, Carol Cheng

Recent TVB series such as the current "The Beauty of the Game" and upcoming mini series "The High Inner Eye Lover" both are innuendos of HK celebrities and entertainment industry.

"The Beauty of the Game" TVB is playing itself

The dark side within the entertainment circle is the selling point of this series. The first week average ratings were only 26 points, but the crew worked hard beforehand to research gossips from different artistes. As the series broadcasts, more and more of the dark side slowly gets exposed.

(Spencer Leung)

Liza Wang slapping Jamie Chik (exposed by an Insider)

"The Beauty of the Game" Episode 4, spoke of Christine Ng taking advantage of her "big sister" status as she requests for a re-take of the same scene with Kate Tsui over and over again. Results, Kate was slapped by Christine 39 times. Hong Kong artist Spencer Leung broke the news out that in the past when he was shooting a series, in one scene two actresses were love opponents and started slapping vigorously. Spencer Leung said: "They had always been enemies, there was someone who said that one of the actresses proposed the idea of vigorous slapping to the scriptwriter."

It was said that Spencer was referring to the golden drama . In the drama, Spencer plays Adam Cheng's son who has a wife Liza Wang and an affair partner Jamie Chik. There was one slapping scene between the two love opponents, where each slap was very realistic. An insider expressed: "At that time Ah Jeh was dating Ivan Ho and both were part of "Enjoy Yourself Tonight". Jamie had just joined the crew after completing acting training. Back then Ivan was said to be a flirt and took good care of newcomer Jamie, Ah Jeh felt threatened by Jamie, so she never liked her. Not sure if it was because of this reason, when they were shooting "Behind" that she treated the slapping scene as if it was real."

Earlier when Jamie and Liza were both guests on "Club Venus", the two were not willing to take pictures together. When Liza was asked about the incident, she said: "Such old things, who would remember. Crazy." Jamie revealed through her assistant: "The series is so old, things that happened that long ago, just laugh it off and will not respond to anything." The producer of "Beauty" was asked if the series had affected the two big sisters, he answered: "The series is only about the entertainment circle. But recently I do feel that my colleagues aren't as warm to me like before."

Jessica Hsuan betrays Astrid Chan

"Beauty" Episode 5 talked about Kate Tsui feeling injustice being slapped by Christine so many times and complained with good friend Sharon Chan to the producer, they even threatened to delay filming. The producer gave pressure to Christine, so she invited Sharon to her house for dinner to get her on her side. Results, Sharon let it go, Kate felt that she betrayed her.

The scene from episode 5 resembles Astrid and Jessica's relationship. Astrid and Jessica became good friends after filming "ATE". In 1998, the two were both discussing contracts with TVB, it was rumored that Jessica taught Astrid to be "sell high" ("hard to get"), to stall the contract process, while she quickly agreed to the sign the contract. Due to this, Astrid reluctantly switched to ATV as the two became enemies. Astrid was asked if she had been betrayed by a good friend before? She answered: "I don't remember."

Kate Tsui is an innuendo of Michelle Ye (beauty pageant winner reaching stardom)

Michelle Ye was once a MCI winner with promising beauty and body figure. In the past she rapidly reached a high position as a Fadan in TVB. But then relying on the wealthy, she turned into a "gossip girl" in one night and soon became a leading lady in movies.

Sharon Chan an innuendo of Jill Vidal (drug addict)

In the series, Sharon plays a celebrity drug addict, extremely similar to Jill Vidal who was caught earlier in Japan for marijuana. Both Sharon's character and Jill had a drug addict boyfriend. Sharon has her drug producer siu sang Stephen Huynh while Jill had her marijuana possessed Kelvin Kwan.

Christine Ng an innuendo of Carol Cheng (plastic surgery)

Christine played a big sister who takes numerous anti-aging drugs to maintain her youthfulness, causing side effects on her face and rotting eyes as a result. This is similar to TVB big sister Carol Cheng (Dodo) who is referred to as "HK Version MJ". People often say that she's a plastic surgery addict, fixing up her wrinkles on neck, nose, scars and has done nose bridging.

"The High Inner Eye Lover" directed at the Music Industry

Playing as the "ugly man" GUNG YAN TUNG (innuendo of Gillian Chung) Wong Cho Lam soon becomes a "smart man". Bosco Wong plays GAN LIK SUN (innuendo of Eason Chan) pairing up with Kate Tsui's TSUI ON FEI (innuendo of Kay Tse). Kitty Yuen plays GING CHI KO (innuendo of Real Ting) who will end up marrying the ugly turned beauty YEUNG SIN WAH (innuendo of Miriam Yeung) played by Christine Kuo.

Joey Yung turns into a "Black Bunny Girl"

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Joey Yung will be releasing her new EP at the end of the month. Joey has always liked Miffy the bunny and this time she has created a "Black Bunny Girl" look image for herself. Her face, arms and legs were all covered in black make-up.

Joey has been in the industry for 10 years and she has created 9 different images for her new EP "Joey Ten". Each image is very detailed and creative. Joey said "Miffy is a white bunny. We discussed about it and I suggested to paint myself black. I have tried many different images within the last 10 years and this time I want to be brave and try something different.

On the day of becoming a "Black Bunny Girl", Joey's face, arms, legs and neck areas were covered in black make-up. She said "This make-up will not make your skin sensitive. It's all real and not done by computer effects. I will also wear Black fury clothing and wear Bunny ears. The outcome is very shocking". Joey used about half a hour to 45 minutes to cover herself black.

She realised washing off the black make-up was very complicated. She said "I thought when the make-up was removed everything would be clean. However when I got home I realised my nails, toe nails, ears and nostrils still had black marks. I had to immediately remove it again. It took about 4 washes before everything came off. But I am very satisfied with the outcome. As well as having 9 different images for the EP cover, a Joey Ten Boxset will also be released that will contain Joey's personal photos, a manga book and Image photo collection.

Elanne Kong gives up "wasp waist" to meet with JJ

Tuesday, January 05, 2010 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Elanne Kong has been preparing for her first concert relentlessly with dance bootcamps and fitness training, but on New Year's Day she secretly flew to Shanghai to meet with Lin Jun Jie (JJ) for the first time. She even broke her own rules for him, sacrificing the "wasp waist" that she had worked so hard to achieve.

Elanne has admired JJ's musical talents for a long time and so asked a middle person to invite him to be a guest at her concert, to which he agreed. Earlier, she had to be in Hang Zhou for work and found out that JJ would be in Shanghai for countdown activities, and suggested that they meet up on New Years Day. "We just ate dinner together, talked alot about music related things. He's a very nice person, very sweet! (Any developments?) It's only the first time we met, let's not bring it up again until we've had a few more dinners and more time to get to know each other."

Forced to eat dongbo pork

Due to the nearness of her concert, Elanne has been in training "hell" in her aspirations to tone her body. Along with working hardened muscles, she has also eliminated oils and salt from her meals, resulting in a super fit 22 inch waist. Unfortunately, her trip to Shanghai caused her to immediately gain 2 lbs, losing the "wasp waist". Laughingly, she said "We ordered around 20 dishes for dinner, JJ even fed me dongbo pork! Obviously I had to be courteous and eat it when he was offering it like that. When I found out I had gained 2 lbs I had to start the intense training in Hong Kong all over again!"

Elanne and JJ discussed such things as their horoscopes on their first meeting and discovered they had similar interests, which was their love of eating hamburgers. "I have thought about going to McDonalds after the concert for our afterparty." laughed Elanne. She and JJ also exchanged copies of their new CDs, and she bravely asked JJ to write a song for her.

Joey expressed that she is satisfied with the Chik Chak award results and she reckons that some fans are over-reacting.

When Joey Yung was giving a radio interview, it was mentioned that some fans weren’t very happy about the recent Chik Chak award results and they have been fiercely voicing their displeasure on the Internet. Joey replied to this by saying: “Aiya, forget about it, it’s in the past. Actually, I’m quite satisfied with the result, and I’m grateful for the care that everyone has shown to me. (Some fans might be going to the ICAC?) That’s a bit over the top. Maybe the fans are too engrossed in the matter, and as they become more engrossed, the more that will come into their minds.”

Amigo Chui's reputation damaged, singer dreams are over too

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Due to Amigo Chui being involved in a case of assaulting his girlfriend Elizabete Kwong, besides losing all his current hosting jobs, it was said that a year ago Amigo won TVB general manager Stephen Chan's favor as he secretly signed Amigo for record company Warner Music. Initially Amigo was scheduled to step into the music industry as a male newcomer this year, releasing a debut album. Now that incident happened, his singer dreams are gone.

It turns out that this multi-talent "golden host" had always dreamed to become a singer, therefore besides arranging Amigo to host for , Stephen also wanted to arrange him to group sing with ability card singers including Eason Chan, Kay Tse, Khalil Fong and at17 in order to pave his singing career.

After pushing Amigo out in support to Warner Music, Warner was also waiting for a good time to help him release an album, but it probably won't happen now. At the end of last year (2009), Warners already prepared to start recording for Amigo's single and the album was scheduled to release March-April. Because of Amigo's assaulting case and that TVB had copyright disputes with Warner (part of HKRIA), it looks like Amigo's dreams are over.

Yesterday both Warner and TVB spokesperson (Virgina Lok) admitted that Amigo's album production is facing obstacles, because the contract had not been set yet, recording never happened. Asked if Amigo's chances were affected due to being involved in an assaulting case? Warner Music expressed that first let the incident cool down before reconsideration. Virgina said that even if the incident never happened, recording would not happen yet and probably won't be releasing his album in the near future. However, those two factors do play a role in creating obstacles for Amigo. TVB and Warner will discuss before reconsidering. Also, Patrick Tang who is currently under Universal also got affected.

In other news, Virgina was asked about Amigo's condition. Virgina expressed that she has talked to Amigo over the phone and he is still feeling very down. Police is working on the case and there is no set time that Amigo will be reappearing.

On a different note, Stephanie praised Linda for having a soft voice, she smiled and said "Linda's voice is very soft and gentle. I like gentle girls, maybe I am a bit rough myself ! Linda returned the complement by saying Stephanie is a very happy person all the time!

Kitty Yuen would rather kiss Wong Cho Lam than Bosco Wong

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Bosco Wong will kiss Kitty Yuen and Christine Kuo in new TVB series (情人眼裏高一D). Christine was sick but still went to work. Bosco stated that he was worried Christine would infect him and that the studio crew would need to stop work. He felt very awkward kissing her and this was also the first scene of the series. The reporter asked Christine if she felt awkward? She said "I was a little nervous and awkward but you must release yourself working in this industry".

Kitty Yuen will be playing the same role as Christine and will also have kissing scenes with Bosco and Wong Cho Lam. She expressed that she was very nervous but wanted to kiss Cho Lam more because his lips are very kissable. As for Bosco his lips are too thin and he is too tall. She would rather kiss Cho Lam instead. If she had the chance to participate in shooting ideas she would add a bed scene.

Wong Cho Lam felt very lucky to be able to kiss Kitty and Christine. He stated that he has already kissed many female artistes, this time he can kiss 2 at once. The reporter asked who was a better kisser? He replied "Bottom lip Kitty, top lip Christine".
