Steven Ma who was away from Hong Kong for 2 months to earn money, returned to Hong Kong and heard of the rumour about TVB will be sold to Lee Shau Kee. He frankly said that no matter what changes there will be, as long as they can make TVB's business better, it means it's something good. Because many of his friends have been forced to leave the industry, he hoped that this changes can help to increase opportunity, reducing retrenchment. Besides, after returning, he also asked about Stephen Chan and sent his blessings. He was also jokingly asked if he would sell his property to help Stephen Chan in his trial, he laughed and said that as a friend, support from within is enough.
Besides this, regarding TVB and the change of shareholders, Margie Tsang felt that TVB has been very long established. No matter who is the boss it will be gaining profit too. On the other hand, Nancy Sit felt that TVB is a "dragon", she only hoped that the shareholders could sustain TVB's quality and continue to use the good staffs.
