Lawrence Ng, Amy Chan and Pinky Cheung's ATV series The Men of Justice ratings haven't been too bad. However, it was recently discovered that the series broadcast was "stolen" by the Mainland website.
ATV Executive (Yip Ka Bo) expressed that the series did not release in Mainland nor was there any DVD release, so based on investigations it is someone within the company that stole it. The series producer Gary Tang said: "The ratings more or less will be affected. Most of the audience for The Men of Justice are young people and they are the more active ones online. They probably would want to watch it online because it's faster, it's hard to avoid this, but the one braodcast on the internet is the cut, but hasn't been edited version." Actress Pinky Cheung is also worried this may affect the ratings, she said: "My fans are discussing this issue on the internet, they said there is DVD too. I don't know who is responsible for this, but can just treat it as promotion!"
