2009 Jade Solid Gold Awards Presentation was held last night without the presence of singers from the 4 record companies(Universal, Warner, EMI, Sony). When Miriam got the song award, Eric Tsang addressed her as "Ting Yeung Chin Wah". Miriam said boldly, "Let's begin again together, classmates we don't see this year, meet again next year. The problem will be solved!" Eric praised her for her good speech.When Miriam was awarded the Most Popular Female Singer award, she couldn't believe it. "Haha, I saw the video clip when I got this award for the first time. I should be prettier now. Was 20-something then and now I'll be 36 soon... not talking about figure." Eric teased her that no matter what figure, someone has already wanted her.
The black low cut dress was picked by her husband during a trip to Japan. Fans were holding light boards "Mrs Ting" to support their idol.
