For her dance clothing, earlier Ah Sa personally went to ShenZhen to get them, she said: "the outfit is quite sexy, first time going there, I was scared because there were so many guys. Family Ranks First for Raymond Lam

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Sometimes your background determines your choice. Some people see themselves as the most important. Others will think of their spouse first. Materialism is the most important to some people! When you are very busy, you might start to neglect the most important things or people in your life. Perhaps we'll only know how much we treasure someone or something when we lose them. Being successful in his career and cooking stuff for family at times, how does Raymond value the most important things and people?

Raymond was given a list of 58 items. He had to pick 6 most important things in his life out of the 58 listed items. Raymond mumbled, "Is father the same as mother? I also love my brothers and sisters. Then I have already selected 4 items already?! Wow, ferrarri is in the list of choice! May I change it to another brand?"

After a while, he selected 5 items. He said career is very important. "I'm going to add this item!"

The First Round - Raymond chose Dining with Family, happy family, career, health, travelling and Hong Kong as the most important things in his life

Dining with Family and Happy Family

"My family, including my father, mother, brother and sister, always matters most for me!

Dining with family is also as important as a happy family. I feel very forutnate to be in my family because they love me so much. My parents are considerate and understanding about my busy schedule and my brother and sister also take good care of themselves so that I don't have to worry about them. I treasure this a lot. They stand by me forever.

They understand that I'm busy and won't grumble that I don't have time for them. Hence, I'll dine with them whenever I have some free time to do so. My family is a bit interesting. My daddy is the one who's the best at cooking and cook most meals! If my brother and sister are also at home, we'll go shopping for the meal. I actually enjoy going to the market to buy stuff for dinner! My daddy will cook whatever we buy. I'm very happy in the way it is now.

Career

I stand where I'm at because of my career. I value my career a lot; however if I happen to get a job I don't quite like, I will start to get a bit lazy. I'm really lucky that I get a lot of support from the audience and others within my 10 years in the entertainment industry. In addition to drama, I also got a lot of other opportunities to try out different areas. I never dreamt of holding my first concert already within 2 years of releasing my first album. I thought it's a dream rather than reality.

Until the poster, advertisement were out and the tickets were sold out, I'm still telling others that it's like a joke. I can't quite believe it until all staff have been confirmed for the concert. Then I tell myself, "Oh really? I gotta believe and prepare for the concert. It's coming up."

I'll try my best on my music and acting career because I am interested in both acting and singing.

Health

Since I'm overloaded with work, I don't have meals at a regular time so it's not a healthy style of life. I don't care about this that much previously. In the past, whenever I shoot ancient dramas, I'll also try the dangerous action scenes too. So I got injured at times.

Now I'll see if a scene is too dangerous and whether it makes a lot of difference in me doing that scene than someone else. I'll also try to have meals at a regular time.

Travelling

I have been waiting to go travelling for quite a while. But the destination, such as Macau, cannot be too faraway from Hong Kong. However, my schedule is so full and I cannot turn down any of those to-do-list. Then I'll start to temporarily give up this thought of trips.

I wanna travel because I'd like to really learn, feel and absorb everything I encountered. After all, it's meaningless to learn nothing after finishing a lot of work!

In this way, I can then improve and thus be more mature.

Hong Kong

Although I have gone to other countries, I have a sense of belonging to Hong Kong as I grow up in Hong Kong and also established my career here.

Second Round - Happy Family, Career, Health

Happy Family, Career

No matter what, family is always the most important thing in my life!

I always need to be a good role model for my younger brother and sister. I feel lucky that my everything went smoothly for my career so that I can take good care (the most basic ability) of myself.

It's impossible to only focus on either one of my acting and singing career. They make up my entire career. Even if many people ask, "Will you spend more time on singing now?" I'll say "no".

I'll try my best and concentrate on singing when I'm singing, acting when I'm acting. I'll just try my best to do my part and finish my tasks. Others also helped out in the process and that helped me concentrate on my work in a better way. This is the foundation of my career!

Health

I never had facial in the past. Recently, I went to have facial less than 6 times within 2 years. But I began to realize its importance. Nevertheless, my appearance also counts towards my career. It's also a way of showing respect. I'll try to pay more attention to health as being healthy is our key responsibilty for those who love and care about us too.

Family ranks No. 1

My family always stands by my side at all times.

If I have to shoot dramas, then I can only see my family members for a few times in a week (on Monday). Most of the time, I get up early and leave home early. By the time I get back home, it's already past midnight and it's time to sleep. But my parents will still come in and ask if I'd like to have some more meals or snacks so we can meet more often in this way. They are my motives for my life."

Sudden Weekly #750 - Myolie Wu Becomes Chilli Lady

Posted by Admin 0 comments
This Sunday (13/12) will be Myolie Wu's first mini-concert at Kowloon Bay HITEC. She takes the advantage of these few days left to focus fully on the rehearsals. In order to sing better, she even copied Paula Tsui and ate chillies to 'open up' her voice. We watched her taking bite after bite without any change in expression. It's even hotter than her learning the Lady Ga Ga's hot dance!

Before taking her meal, Myolie said that she will first have a chilli as an appetizer. After that, she will drink her elder sister's 'Arhat' soup. It's as if she's playing a game of fire and ice with her throat.

During the concert, Myolie will have a part where she sings and plays the keyboard. Initially, she played pretty well, until she came to the middle and her flaws started showing out. It turned out that she only learnt a few months of piano lessons back in Primary 2. This time, she's taking an express route to perform.

Leila is ’schizophrenic’ being an unrestrained girl and good girl

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The stageplay, Popcorn, which stars Leila Tong etc, will have three shows from next Friday to Sunday (18 – 20 December) at Yuen Long Auditorium. Leila, who did a sexy dance on the stage previously, surprised the audience with her skills. This time, she was ‘favoured’ by the director, who found a professional choreographer to choreograph a sexy dance for her. She said that the pressure to do the dance this time was even heavier, “I had to allocate alot of time everyday to practise the dance steps. I would like myself to dance even more seducingly and sexily and I hope I would do better as compared previously. Because I was nominated for Best Supporting Actress with this stageplay, so I really cannot disappoint the audience this time. “

Apart from practising the dance, Leila had to dye her hair orange. She said laughingly that all the hard work is not as tormenting as ’schizophrenia’. “Because I am rehearsing for two stageplays at the same time. In ‘Popcorn’, I am playing the role of a wild and unrestrained girl. But in the other stageplay, I am playing a very good girl. This is making me seriously schizophrenic. Despite filming for so many years, I have never been in such a dilemma before. Haha!”

Ivana Wong easily gets sick, brings barf bag to airplane

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Although not feeling well, but Ivana Wong still attended , she said: "I'm still vomiting. I already went to see the doctor, actually because I was accompanying my family to go, but I got car sick. Since I was young up until now, I easily get car or sea sick. When I go on the airplane, I usually bring a barf bag with me, I suspect I have some kind of illness. (Do you have intentions to be in movies since you attended this expo?) I really want to be in a comedy. Since I've been in the industry, I have rejected to be in a few films because the role wasn't right for me. I really hope to play a strong and hot girl because I'm usually like silly looking. But my short-term goal is to open a concert in Hong Kong Coliseum."

Yumiko Cheng was rehearsing for "Tung Wah Charity Show 2009", she said: "Initially I was to drift my car to hit the ball and play bowling, but because the insurance didn't work out, so the performance was canceled and changed to human flesh lane! (Disappointed?) Actually I'm not worried about the insurance, but TVB didn't want anything to happen to me, safety's first. Two years ago when I performed at this show, looks like I turned into a 'Tung Wah Star', I am 'Cheng Hope Hope'! But if able to help others, I don't mind. Back then when I failed to perform the flying trapeze, I had no regrets. I hope next year we could get the original crew back to perform it again!"

Not only did the crew turn off the air conditioning but also gave her a cup of hot coffee to keep her warm. Bernice said "Actually I am not afraid of the cold. I am most afraid of the photographer shooting pictures of my toes because they became swollen and bruised while I shot the fighter movie. They look very ugly". In addition, Bernice expressed that not only is she satisfied with her earnings but they have increased. She said "I am very happy shooting this advertisement. I was very touched and wished to marry him but still had contract with record company so I still rejected." Will she take wedding photos in Korea since she has fate with Korea? "I haven't even take photo for my concert poster. Wait till after the concert then prepare for my wedding."

She expressed that she will not concentrate on being Mrs Ting, "My life is fated not able to focus on being a wife, maybe ok for the first three days, but I'll be bored by the fourth day!" She can only try to be a 7-day housewife. "I'll be scratching my head to think of what to cook for husband everyday. I've tried cooking curry chicken but was working on it from morning to night till he asked me not to cook anymore."

Miriam is trying to slim down for the year end awards. She said she has no figure and can't wear revealing clothes. Or is it because husband doesn't permit? "He doesn't mind and even said it'll be great if I can carry it off." Has he ever praised her for being sexy? "No, instead he said I'm dumb, often watching TV with mouth wide open. I was like that too when watching 'Beyond The Realm Of Conscience' last episode. He also commented I look bad when I walk. Being a celebrity and yet looked like a butcher when I'm walking with heels." Miriam can understand where he's coming from. She has no dissatisfaction with him but only hope that he will not grow a big belly.

UNICEF Charity Run

Posted by Admin 0 comments
UNICEF Charity Run was held. Miriam was the guest for the event. Last year Miriam participated in the run but this year it's Real Ting's turn to take part in the 10km race and he took 52mins to finish the course. Why didn't he take part together with Miriam? "The difference is too big. She's slower by an hour, very hard to run together. She took part last year so now it's my turn. Perhaps she'll present the award to me!" He said Miriam reminded him to eat bananas.

Miriam did not participate this year as she has sensitive trachea after she returned from work in Beijing. When Miriam learnt that Real mentioned the time difference between them running, she scolded, "Ridiculous! He's too exaggerated! Although when we ran at race course, he was really faster than me by one round. I first started running because of his encouragement, he said it's better than beauty machines, and is good for training breathe for concert." She laughed and said that Real will not have strength to run without eating bananas. "I hope to present award to him. If he can also present favourite female singer award to me, it'll be classic, and I can retire."

Joey Yung denies eating with Stephen Chan to discuss awards

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Joey Yung was awarded "Fashion with Heart" presented to her by a magazine company. Towards the reports saying that she invited TVB executive Stephen Chan out for dinner to "discuss awards", Joey denied and said: "We do eat together sometimes, but Mani arranges it, just making some friends. (Your not afraid of the sensitivity?) It depends how you think of it, I learned a lot from him. Before I did think that I should keep a distance because its sensitive, but now I don't really care. (They said that you have a huge chance to win the female singer award this year?) I don't look at this stuff, I believe that many people have had a meal with him." Asked if she had confidence for the "Most Popular Female Singer Award"? Joey said: "No." This year Kay Tse was "selling her life" away to TVB, shooting a special for them. Joey admits to defeat: "Then I have a lower chance, but I do work hard on my jobs, I hope everyone can see that." Last year she won "Asia-Pacific Most Popular Female Singer", Joey was asked if she wanted that award or the "Most Popular Female Singer"? She said: "Both are good, which ever one is fine. Bosco Wong, Wong Cho Lam, Kate Tsui and Kitty Yuen Siu Yee are going to be in a new series together. Besides playing with beauty and ugly, the character names also brings up rumored artistes Eason Chan and Kay Tse to play with. The series aims to provide a happy Chinese New Years to the audience.

The new series "The High Inner Eye Lover" (情人眼裡高一D) [tentative title] will broadcast on the second day of Lunar New Year to the seventh day. Yesterday the costume fitting for the series was held, in the series "ugly man" Wong Cho Lam will become a "handsome man". Bosco plays "Lik Shun" ('strong letter', sounds like "Eason Chan") and will develop a relationship with Kate Tsui who plays "Tse On Fei" (sounds like "Kay Tse"). Kitty's "Ging Ji Ko" will become a beautiful girl, while Christine Kuo plays "Yeung Sin Wah" (sounds like "Miriam Yeung"). The series is similar to Japanese film and also brought up Kay and Eason's rumors to play with, seems like they can play with anything, but the purpose is just to entertain the audience and hope audience can enjoy the Lunar New Year.

In the series, Kate and Kitty both have kiss scenes with Bosco, he laughed and said that both of them are great, asked if rumored girlfriend Myolie Wu has better lips to kiss? He said: "Everyone's lips are about the same. (Kissed Myolie the most?) I think so, but only filming." Haven't kissed girls that much, Bosco exposed that Wong Cho Lam is the most popular among girls, he often gets surrounded by girls trying to chat with him, he can "pretend to be pig to eat tiger". Cho Lam has to play ugly, using tape on his eye skin to make his eyes look like sleepy eyes. Towards Bosco's comments about him being well welcomed by females, Cho Lam said: "Where? Maybe he can't compare!" He smiled and said that he hopes that next year he'll get some rumors: "Bosco and I chatted, I discovered that artistes with rumors earn more money. Maybe this time I'll look into starting rumors with Kate or Christine."

Also, Eason's concert will be held next year on March 21st - 26th at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Although the news has not been announced, but the sponsors and the organizer's units is already packed and full.

Myolie Wu wants to look her best for her fans

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Myolie Wu has just launched her brand new album and she is extremely busy for the album promotion as well as the promotion for the series "A Chip Off The Old Block". Myolie will be hosting her first mini concert this Sunday. She has been practicing her song and dance and hopes she will look her best for her fans in the concert. Myolie told reporter "I am well prepared for the concert, I need to look my best for my fans. Apart from dancing, I shall perform a lot of songs of course. I am worried I may get stage fright, therefore I bought a Hi-Fi a while ago so that I can practice my singing at home whenever I can. That way I can familiarize the lyrics and also I can assess my own performance." The reporter asked Myolie if she is getting anxious ? Myolie replied that she is coping quite well, but worried about the dancing part. She went on to say "I am not worried about the singing because most of them are my own songs, not many songs are from other singers. I will dance for 2-3 minutes in the mini concert. I have been rehearsing very hard because I am worried I may forget the steps. Dancing is not my strong point."

The report asked Myolie what sort of feedback she has received from her fans? Myolie smiled and said "I didn't ask them directly, but some fans said they like it very much. In particular, I wrote the lyric of one mandarin song called "Soulmate". They were amazed how well it turns. I am very satisfied with that song." That comment has given Myolie a lot of confidence for doing future creativity work." Myolie was asked if she is hoping to get the new comer's award at the end of the year, like last year. Myolie pointed out that "This is my second year in the music industry, I haven't thought about getting an award. After all I am not a new comer competing with only a few or about 10 people, I am an old hand already. I have to compete with the well established and experienced singers now. This is a very tough job. Therefore, I don't hold any high hope, I am very happy to be able to participate in such event that night and I am looking forward to it."

Bernice Liu has many upcoming family celebrations

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Bernice Liu appeared in a low cut tube dress and attended Harbour City's "Oregan Scientific Smart Living Ideas" Press conference. She exposed that there are many family celebrations lately. She said "My sister is giving birth to her baby before Christmas and my brother will be holding a wedding banquet in Canada. I will be making ginger vinegar. My mother hasn't rushed me to get married yet because I have 7 dogs. Moses Chan expressed earlier that he will be giving Bernice a hand chain handmade by himself. Bernice replied "I haven't received it yet. I will think of what to give him after I have received his present. But it is hard to find a guy in the 21st century willing to make a handmade hand chain for someone. Earlier I made some handmade water cups for the cast of "House of 72 Tenants". (Will you spend Christmas with Moses?) "I will be going on a trip on Boxing day. I hope to see my sister's baby arrival before I get on the plane".

Felix Wong shooting series is too body trapping

Thursday, December 10, 2009 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Felix Wong, Michael Miu and Jessica Hsuan attended TVB new series "Interpol" blessing ceremony yesterday. Jessica exposed that after work, Felix stays behind in the studio helping with the clean up and to teach the newcomers, people should learn from him. The happiest thing is that when Andy Lau came into TVB city to visit the set, causing pressure for everyone. All three leads expressed that filming of this series has been quite relaxing.

Felix was once not satisfied with television productions, he said: "The work this time is pretty relaxing, there's lots of time to rest. After work, I of course go home, it's just sometimes other artistes said that they hope that I could watch them act and give them some advice." (Have you already made it clear of the work hours beforehand?) "Everyone tries their best to make arrangements. Can arrange a few artistes to shoot first and switch. Just have more communication."(Next time will he shoot more series?) "Not a high possibility, I feel trapped filming series. I mind most when the script is not fully written, so we're filming as the script is being written. It's hard for both the cast and behind the scenes crew because we are unprepared, therefore it's easiler to make a mistake."

Jessica laughed and expressed that this series is the most relaxed one she has ever done in her 10 years in the industry: "It's going very smoothly because I'm not a police officer, actually Felix has it harder because he has to teach the newcomers and sometimes after work he would stay behind to give advice. Michael also expressed that the filming process has been smooth, asked if Felix had complained to him, Michael smiled: "Friends won't complain or get angry."

Towards Andy Lau coming to visit the set, Felix said: "I personally didn't have pressure, but he just suddenly came, it was a pleasant surprise. Before Andy asked Michael one time about it, but couldn't believe he appeared the next day." How did the others react? "Nancy Wu has never been that obedient and gentle, she asked Andy using a soft voice if she could take a picture with him."
