After two days concert performances at the Hong Kong Coliseum, the media has noted that Raymond Lam Fung’s show borrowed ideas from Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Korean popstar, Rain’s, recent concerts. Similar to Aaron, Raymond’s concert also had a water theme. Like Rain’s show, Raymond’s concert featured models in a catwalk.
The difference was that Raymond’s show featured eight sexy models in bikinis. Raymond wore a sheer black shirt, which revealed his nipples. While surrounded by other female dancers, he entered the water but maintained his distance away from the bikini-clad models.
Since Raymond’s time in the music industry has been quite short, he invited a number of featured guests for his concert. Last night, Michael Tse Tin Wah held hands to sing a Brokeback version of Twins’ song, "女校男生," which was the most shocking spectacle for the evening.
Raymond wore a half-skirt, half-pants outfit and danced to fast music with Michael Tse. When Michael entered the stage, the audience cheered loudly. When everyone thought that the two will perform a fast song together, suddenly the two men clasped hands and sang "女校男生" instead.
After rehearsing with Raymond for a lengthy period of time, Michael discovered that they had the most chemistry while performing "女校男生". However, each time he sang the song, Michael would have goose bumps. Afterwards, Michael took off his jacket, revealing a backless shirt. Meanwhile, Raymond wore low-rider jeans, which revealed the T-back briefs underneath. After the pair danced to another fast track, the entire audience screamed loudly.
Charmaine Sheh Si Man , Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, Chan Yan Mei, Cheng Yan Yi, and TVB executive, Viriginia Lok, attended the concert to show their support. Always favoring Raymond, Ms. Lok appeared to enjoy the concert to the extent where she was jumping throughout the entire time. Since Raymond does not have many of his own songs, he also sang songs from Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing, Wang Lee Hom, Jay Chou Kit Lun, and Tao Zhe.
Other featured guests included Vincy, Wong Cho Lam, Famma and Miriam Yeung Chin Wah[/b]. Wong Cho Lam sang three songs. One of rap duo, Famma’s lyrics, “Raymond Lam Fung is a great lover, his wife Linda Chung Ka Yan caused the audience to burst out laughing.
Miriam wore four-inch high-heeled shoes and sang 《心仍是冷》with Raymond. Since the pair played lovers in TVB series,《美味情緣》, Raymond said that he shared his first onscreen kiss with Miriam.
After the show, reporters asked Raymond why he did not dance closely with the bikini-clad models during one of performances? Raymond indicated he was focused on singing his songs and the choreography. Also, if the performance was too seductive, the media headlines may become too sensational. Raymond indicated that the water temperature was very cold. Reporters noted that his T-back brief was worn very high on the waist. Raymond explained that he has a high waist line.
Since Wong Cho Lam teased Raymond about rumored girlfriend Linda Chung, why did she not attend the concert? Raymond asked,
“Why is it necessary to have Linda Chung?” (Did Raymond invite Linda to attend?)
“I invited many people to see the show.” Raymond did not mind being teased at the concert, as he has been the subject of much teasing over the years.
