Charmaine Sheh praises Tavia Yeung for being considerate

Charmaine Sheh is nominated again as Best Actress this year. When facing another competitor for Best Actress, Tavia Yeung, Charmaine, they continue their [sworn sisters] relationship in the series. This is because Charmaine feels that Tavia really takes care of her co-stars. Ah Sheh said, “I collaborated with Tavia for 2 times. She is a very hardworking actress. Her acting skills naturally became more mature nowadays. During filming, she would take into consideration her co-star’s feelings. She is not a selfish actress. Not every artiste can do that.”During her collaboration with Tavia Yeung in [Beyond], there was a scene that she remembers deeply. She said, “The scene talked about I was promoted from palace maid to a higher ranking post. Tavia helped me to wear my costumes and made “tangyuan” for me to eat. Her tears flowed down continuously while she kept on wipe away her tears. She kept on comfort herself but couldn’t control her upset feelings at the same time. We filmed this scene for 2 times. After finished the first time, everyone felt that the scene could be done better. So we re-took that scene again. At the end, the result was very good. Tavia made an obvious improvement in her acting skills. Actually, it is very hard to do crying scenes. This is because she has to talk to comfort herself but at the same time very upset. Producer Mui Siu Ching requested her tears to flow down continuously but she had to keep on wiping off her tears. The difficulty level is higher."
