Chan Hung Lit's widow Tsui Sai Wing and their children went to Cheung Kwan O Hospital and Hung Hum Universal Funeral Parlor to arrange for his funeral this morning. They went there by a 7 seater car organized by Tsang Sing Ming, TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs. At 2pm, Chan's daughter told reporters that the family thanked everyone who had sent their condolences and supported them. In particular, TVB which helped organized her father's funeral. She went on to say that he was a very good father.

Tsang Sing Ming announced that Chan's funeral ceremony will be conduced in Taoist rituals on December 7th. His body will be cremated the next day and his ashes will be taken back to Taiwan afterwards. Chan's widow Tsui Sai Wing will stay in Hong Kong till the end of the funeral while their children will fly back to Taiwan first to continue their studies.
