An exhibition to commemorate Danny Chan's 30th anniversary in showbiz was held in Sheung Wan. Guests for the opening ceremony included super fan Miriam.Danny's albums, awards, daily necessities, and precious birth certificate were exhibited, but due to privacy, no photography was allowed.
Miriam sponsored the audio for the exhibition. She said she was influenced by her idol and fell in love with purple colour and drinking champagne. Danny's looks had been her criteria for looking for partner. Does her husband Real look like Danny? Miriam said, "A bit, Mr Ting has single eyelid, small eyes. But idol is still idol."
Miriam couldn't forget the experience of star-chasing when she was still schooling. She tried skipping class to chase idol. Due to financial limitation, she would bring a recorder to record songs during concerts but had also bought one or two albums. She was most happy to listen about life stories of her idol from Paco Wong, and learnt that Danny's character was low profile, has good temperament, emotional and liked drinking champagne during recording. Did she influence Real to like Danny also? "He has to accept this about me. But he likes Jacky Cheung, Leon Lai, Wang Li-hom and knows how to sing their songs. But he never listen to my songs."
