Kelly Chen will appear in "Gala Spectacular" as a special guest tonight. This will be her first appearance since she has given birth to her son. Yesterday Kelly and Hacken Lee were busy doing the rehearsal at The Hong Kong Coliseum. Kelly told reporter she wants to lose 8 pounds in weight, but as she is still breast feeding Chace, she would not go on a slimming diet. She is hoping she can lose some weight by doing more exercise.

As a spokesperson for 3D Gold Jewelry, Kelly represented the company to hand a cheque of 200,000 HKD over to Po Leung Kuk. 3D Gold has given Kelly a necklace pendant engraved with "Chace". Tonight Kelly will sing "Darling" and "Red Son". Kelly's last guest appearance was in "Left Alan, Right Lee" concert before she had her baby. Kelly reckoned she and Hacken are destined to meet up with each other. Reporter asked Kelly how is she getting on with her slimming diet? Kelly expressed that she had put on 9 pounds since giving birth. She has only managed to lose one pound, and she still has 8 pounds to lose. Fortunately, her old clothes still fit in her. Kelly said "I do one hour yoga everyday, I dare not do strenuous exercise. (Don't you lose weight by just looking after the baby?) I am breast feeding, therefore I must eat a bit extra so that I can feed the baby." Kelly took her baby for the immunization yesterday. Talking about the recent blunder the hospital made regarding giving baby the wrong drug, Kelly expressed that she is not worried about it because Chace had the injection from her private doctor. Reporter went on to ask if she missed her son while she was rehearsing? Kelly said she has her son's picture with her, therefore she is OK. Kelly also made a few photo albums for Chace.
