Belinda Hammett and God of cookery Leung Man To were at Whampoa Gourmet Place as special guests for the opening ceremony for Wing Lai Yuen catering yesterday. The chef and master Leung made some famous udong for Belinda to try.

Belinda expressed that she does cook for herself when she is free at home, but she mainly cooks western food. Belinda disclosed that she doesn't know much about making Chinese cuisine, therefore when she was working with master Leung, she had learned a lot from him. Talking about her extremely slim figure, Belinda responded "I only eat enough, I don't eat excessively." Belinda revealed that she eats very simple meal, she even fries her mother's left over rice to eat sometimes. As long she is full, she is not fussy about food.

Belinda told reporter that she was the representative from ATV to host the Miss Asia Pageant in America. Vincent Kok was the co-host as well. Talking about some ATV artists who were either made redundant or have their pay cut, Belinda stated that she didn't know ATV number one guy Kenneth Chan has left ATV. Belinda said "I don't have a fix contract with ATV. Some artists who are paid monthly may become a burden to ATV. It hasn't affected me yet, maybe my pay is not very high and also I get paid according each job I do."
