Pau Hei Ching cries as aTV cut artistes earnings

aTV will cut artistes earnings and Pau Hei Ching feels that this will affect her collegaues dignity. She couldn't resist to cry. Yesterday she accepted a radio interview with Eileen Cha discussing about aTV cutting contract artistes earnings. She said "Some artistes have to reduce doing shows and cut down on their earnings. Artist contracts that terminate at the end of August are yet to be discussed. Of course my colleagues feel awful and have to plan their future. Actually I have had my earnings reduced several times. My earnings are less than they were compared to 10 years ago. However my family don't depend on my earnings and I just work because I enjoy it. That is why I decided to stay in the company".She also said "If I was part of aTV's management I would also feel that Pau Hei Ching's earnings could be reduced. Since I only play mothers, aunts and minor roles. I just feel bad for my colleagues. Some depend on their earnings to raise their children. The management should take into account the artistes feelings. Some may wonder what they are worth. I hope the company handles the matter in total fairness and will not continue to cut artistes earnings".

Pau Hei Ching feels that the aTV artistes are in a very pityful situation and couldn't resist to cry. She said that she hopes that everyone will get through this difficult period. But she felt even more pain seeing Gilbert Lam Wai Sun who she treats like a nephew having to go through this. "Artistes also have dignity. I will contact Kenneth Chan and see if we can approach the management".
