The first episode of "Burning Flame III" was aired the other night, the average index rating was 36 points, peaked at 38, attracted 2,420,000 viewers. It has become the highest single day rating in 3 years. The last time high was "The Dance of Passion". This series has done better than the previous 2 series. Amy Wong, producer of "Burning Flame III" celebrated the first day success by treating the cast such as Kevin Cheng, Myolie Wu and Matthew Ko with beers in the press conference.

Kevin and Myolie were very excited with the result. Reporter asked if they were worried about the rating? Kevin said he did feel pressure, and he hopes the audience can support this series. Asked if he has confidence this series will break the record of "Jewel in the palace"? Raymond reckoned it is still too early to tell, he wished he can predict the index rating. The reporter went on to ask if the series continue to get good rating, how would he celebrate? Raymond smiled and said if it breaks 40 points, he would show everybody his pants, but he has to get the rest of the cast to agree first. This is because he is the only one who wears weird clothes. He disclosed that he will be doing a promotion on the beach and he is hoping he will give everybody a surprise.

The reporter asked Myolie if she would wear bikini to celebrate the high rating, Myolie smiled "The whole of Hong Kong has seen my swimming costume, I am only cheering, therefore I will be wearing a skirt." Although Myolie hasn't appeared in "Burning Flame III" yet, she is full of confident. Everybody has sweated a lot for this series, in particular the male artists and they should take all the glory. Reporter asked if she has celebrated with her rumored boyfriend Bosco Wong? Myolie replied "I had nothing to do with him in the series." Kevin added "Don't forget to call me too."
