Sweetness in the Salt – Audiences’ views

Saturday, June 27, 2009 Posted by Admin
The currently broadcasted series has been broadcasted to more than its half. After being broadcasted for two weeks, the average ratings were only 27 points. This result is largely behind the previously hot "Rosy Business". Majority of the audiences approved the female lead Tavia Yeung’s acting skill, but “still feel her smell of supporting character too heavy”. But there were also people supported her for good acting skill and having the capability to become the first line lead actress.

In the series, Tavia Yeung acted as a girl who can fight named Dao Sing Suet, from a girl in the village to the female head of the family. Audiences who have watched "Rosy Business" could not stop themselves from comparing Dao Sing Suet to “the Fourth Mistress”. Both characters are similarly the female head of family. However, compared to Sheren Tang, audiences think Tavia Yeung “has not had the qualifications to become the first female lead, and think she was missing something.”

“Against Tavia’s group”

“Although she has acting skill, but the smell of supporting character is really heavy, lacking “the Fourth Mistress” unique feeling.”

“She has acting skill, but because of her look problem, even though she was the first lead, I still can’t feel the main character look!”

“Pro Tavia’s group”

“Her acting is very great, her tears are real, she handled her dilemmatic inner emotion very well. It’s my first time to be so taken aback by Tavia Yeung’s acting skill.”

“The low profile Tavia Yeung hardly disappoints anyone no matter what characters she act as.”
