Eighteen Mr. Hong Kong 2009 hopefuls were invited for the second round of selection process. There will be 10 places an 2 more finalist from overseas to compete for the contest. Among the 18 contestants were 17 years old Kenneth, the "Bloated Samuel Chan", Gigantic Tim, Mr. Kwok and "Fake Victor Chen". Kenneth who wore a pair of yellow shorts, revealing his black underwear, arrived with his cousin. Reporters asked if he wore that on purpose, Kenneth reply "I usually dress like this." During the selection process, the contestants are required to wear swimming costume. Ray, one of the contestants came prepared with 4 lobsters and cooking utencils to demonstrate his cooking talents on the spot. Another contestant was showing his drawing skills. Two other contestants who had tattoos were not selected. Miss Ho, the producer said that one of the contestants was a refine guy, it was a shame that half of his body was covered in tattoo, he didn't get selected either.
