Bobby Au Yeung's costume drama may be banned in Mainland, along with all other ancient series

Costume dramas "The Dream of Red Chamber" (紅樓夢), "Journey To The West" (吳承恩與西遊記), and many more are currently filming, but it has been reported on the news recently that starting from June 1st, Mainland will be banning all costume/ancient drama series. Currently Beijing, Tianjin, Hunan and Jiangsu Satellite TV and the responsible person expressed that they have not received any confirmation on this. 
Bobby Au Yeung is currently filming for new series (鍾馗) in Mainland, reporters phoned his manager, she expressed that she only knows that in the previous years the China Government issued documents stating that they do not encourage production companies to film costume/Ancient dramas, but for banning its broadcast, she haven't heard of it. TVB's Director of Foreign Affairs expressed that TVB has a lot of ancient /costume dramas that broadcasts on Mainland television, will have to receive the documents from the Government first before making any decisions.
