Louis Koo: Best Comedian Since Stephen Chow?

After 《保持通話》, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Barbie Xu will reunite as onscreen lovers in Wong Jing’s new movie 《大內密探靈靈狗》. The cast and crew are currently filming in mainland China. Louis’ character is an inventor 「靈靈狗」who is not trained in martial arts. On the other hand, Barbie plays a skilled martial artist. Earlier, Louis and Barbie filmed a scene which spoke of the lovers reuniting after numerous obstacles in their relationship. Barbie had to kiss Louis fiercely on the lips.
In the movie, Barbie plays a strong woman while Louis acts as a weak man. In real life, Barbie was also quite protective of Louis. When the media teased Louis about his dark tan color, Barbie interrupted with a smile, "You think that Louis is too dark? Perhaps my skin is just too pale.”
Although Barbie and her sister started in the entertainment industry by pursuing a comedic route, Barbie never had the chance to star in comedies until 《大內密探靈靈狗》. Earlier, Producer Wong Jing severely criticized Stephen Chow Sing Chi as a difficult actor to work with. Wong Jing told the press that following Stephen Chow, Louis Koo was Hong Kong’s best comedy actor.
