Saturday, March 07, 2009
Since TVB aired a clip of Gillian Chung's "Be My Guest" interview, TVB had received 60 complaints. The complaints include the interview contents giving a bad influence to young people and also the fact that the clip was arranged during the news broadcast which was an inappropriate time. However, there were also 28 claims that supported Gillian. They indicated that the incident happened a year ago and has passed, therefore Gillian should be given a chance. They admire Gillian being responsible for her actions. TVB later explained that the reason why it was aired during the news broadcast was because they saw it as a point of news rather than entertainment. This is an incident that all Chinese people have been focusing on. Source: On.cc
