There are rumours that TVB will be laying off staff again in April and 500 people will be affected. It is said that hosts for programmes such as "After School ICU" and "Scoop" will be most affected. Also Lulu Kai and Tam Yuk Ying who both host "After School ICU" are said to be kicked off the programme. Yesterday Lulu Kai attended a promotion event for "The Winter Melon Tale" and stated that she has not read any reports about it. So far she has yet to receive any notice from TVB and doesn't feel there is anything suspicious. Everyone in the team is acting like normal. The reporter asked if she will be unhappy if she was kicked off the programme? She said she will take it one step at a time and that they should ask the executives about it.

The cast Liu Kai Chi, Chung Wong and EO2 are very popular amongst the children. EO2 said that they enjoyed shooting the series. Now people aged between 3 to 80 are their fans. If they have another chance to film a series they would be very happy. Nancy Wu stated that at first she was very worried playing an evil role, however since the series has been released she is very popular with the audience. The series attracts kids and Nancy revealed she will be shooting another martial arts series shortly.
