Bernice Liu enters her movie career, plays villian role

Bernice Liu who started out in television will be focusing on shooting movies. Last year she filmed the hollywood movie "The King of Fighters". Next month she will start shooting new Hong Kong movie "滅門". She will play a triad society Big sister collaborating with Simon Yam and Andy On Chi-Kit. Taiwanese popular idol Mike He was originally casted in the movie however his new series with Charlene Choi is still shooting, therefore in the end he was not casted. The movie company had to find someone to replace his role. Due to Bernice starting out as a female action star in her movie career, she will continue to follow this route. The only difference is that there will be blood and gore scenes in the new movie. But she has fully prepared herself. While filming "The King of Fighters" last year she has built a strong foundation in learning martial arts with her teacher. The reporter contacted Bernice yesterday but she seemed to not want to discuss about it. She said "It's not convenient for me to discuss about it, I let the company announce it instead."TVB Executive Virginia Lok denied that Bernice will be only concentrating on shooting movies. But if there are good plots in the storyline Bernice will continue to accept them. Virginia also revealed that Bernice will be auditioning for 2 English speaking movies. She said "The movie "The King of Fighters" was very good. Her English is good and she is talented. That's why I will allow her to continue shooting movies. (Are you afraid her new role will affect her image?) "Not worried, a villianess role will stand out from the rest. Most important is that there is a lot of acting."
