'Salty Pork Hand' incident ends with Kingdom Yuen's apology, victims remain silent, with no evidence TVB let culprit go free

TVB's 'Salty Pork Hand' incident has intensified, yesterday Artist Department executive Virginia Lok suddenly summoned Kingdom Yuen and Ellesmere Choi to meet with her. According to sources, since this incident happened more than several months ago and no one has come forward to identify the perpetrator, TVB could only let the culprit go free and would not take any disciplinary action.

'Salty Pork Hand' incident has become a hot topic in Hong Kong, yesterday on TVB's Scoop, Kingdom apologized to the public: "I know everyone is trying hard to guess who the culprit is, I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time and energy." She said none of the eight suspects the magazine referred to is the perpetrator and also revealed that the offender is not a TVB artist and currently inactive in the entertainment industry, hoping this incident can die down.

Yesterday Kingdom met with Ms Lok, afterwards she disclosed that Ms Lok did not ask her who 'Salty Pork Hand' is, she simply explained the incident: "I will not reveal this person and Ms Lok did not tell me to shut up. That magazine speculated and made false assumptions, the media created a storm, this is not what I intended to happen. I didn't mean to hurt or ruin anyone's reputation. (Some of your male colleagues were innocently dragged into this?) I want to say sorry, they are all tall and handsome and got suspected. Actually the five characteristics that magazine wrote about are not entirely true."

One of the suspects involved in this incident, Ellesmere Choi, accompanied by his female assistant, appeared at TV City yesterday. He looked very distressed but he still politely stopped to let reporters take pictures but was unwilling to answer questions. Asked if he was going to the Artist Department to meet with Ms Lok, he said "Yes, to understand/clarify the matter." (Are other suspects also meeting with the executives?) Ellesmere said he doesn't know, he said he has already responded with what he would like to say regarding this matter and then hurriedly left.

Astrid Chan was mistaken as one of the victims, yesterday she clarified: "Since the beauty pageant, I haven't worn a swimsuit to film at a swimming pool. If I was sexually harrassed, I would definitely not put up with it, women have to protect themselves. This incident affected many innocent male colleagues, Moses Chan, Kenneth Ma, Joe Ma are all my good friends, they take care of me. (What about Ellesmere?) We hardly collaborate, he treats me OK but I've never seen him perform magic." Asked if she thinks Kingdom should reveal the culprit, Astrid said: "Of course, this affects the future and reputation of many male colleagues. (You know who he is?) I haven't asked Kingdom."
