Jacky Cheung had been affected by the financial tsunami and announced officially returning to the entertainment circle in 2009. In recent years he has rarely taken part in movie productions and will be working with popular female star Tang Wei in the new movie "月 滿 軒 尼 詩". The storyline is based on both of them reaching the age of marriage but are still single. Their families arrange matchmaking for them, however both of them already have someone in mind. In the end the matchmaking fails and it develops into a friendship.
Attracted by the main lead character's personality
Jacky Cheung has rarely worked in movies in recent years. This time he accepted to shoot this movie because he was attracted by the main lead's simple and honest character. Since Tang Wei's "Lust, Caution" she hasn't had any new productions. To be able to have the opportunity to shoot a Hong Kong movie she felt very excited. She said that she was really looking forward to work with Ivy Ho and Jacky Cheung. She said "My role in the movie has quite a comedy feel, I hope it will give the audience a new fresh feeling." Ivy Ho has arranged for Jacky and Tang Wei to meet. She also praised Tang Wei's Cantonese being very fluent and has confidence in her portraying a Hong Kong girl next door type.
