Gigi Lai announces: Mr Ma and I were married last September

38-year old Gigi Lai married wealthy Ma Ting Koeng (馬廷強), yesterday Mrs Ma announced the good news through TVB to the media, she said: "I am very happy to tell everyone, I'm already married. I am very thankful that I finally found someone who loves me very much, someone I can entrust my whole life with." Mr Ma is 14 years older than Gigi, his net worth is over a hundred million dollars, he owns many companies and invests in medical equipment business. Virginia Lok (TVB's Director of Production Resources) has met Gigi's husband, she praised Mr Ma as a '120 points' good man.
Gigi confirmed her marriage to Mr Ma but their wedding date is still a mystery. There were different versions, first it was reported Gigi would marry this month in Australia, then it was rumored she was already registered last December in Europe. Actually they were already married and honeymooned before Lunar New Year. As far as she knows, Gigi's brother Lai Ying did not attend her wedding. Ms Lok disclosed that Gigi did not wear a wedding dress because she has already worn it many times during her filming career. Ms Lok had dinner with Gigi and Mr Ma, Gigi said she is enjoying her life as Mrs Ma, learning to take care of her family, entertaining friends, cooking and decorating her home. Gigi said her family is very important to her, although she misses her TVB colleagues.
