Koni Lui recently went to the Philippines to shoot a travel documentary. She only had 2 days to shoot the footage and had a tight schedule. The filming started from morning till night and she was very tired. One day she went to a Massage parlour to shoot a spa scene. At first, Koni thought she was able to relax and enjoy the spa but unexpectedly it was the opposite. Koni explained "While shooting the scene there were a lot of male staff around and I felt embarrassed. It was not enjoyable. At first they arranged a male therapist but I immediately requested a female instead. After 2 hours of shooting, I was more tired than before."

It was the first time Koni had visited the Philippines. At first she initially thought she wouldn't enjoy the food there because she had tried family dishes made by a Filipino worker and felt the taste very far from satisfactory. But after tasting the food officially in the Philippines Koni had a different view. She said "The Filipino dishes are actually very tasty. The seafood dishes taste the best and are very unique." Due to having a busy shooting schedule she didn't have time to go shopping. Before heading back to Hong Kong she took the last chance to go to a supermarket and bought about 10 packs of Dried mango. The shop assistant was even surprised seeing Koni hold so many packs at once.
