Dicky Cheung and Jess Zhang got married in the Philippines yestyerday. Dicky was wearing a while suit and Jess wore a while wedding dress with a white wig and head dress. The couple looked like a Prince and a Princess in a fairy tale. Under the witness of the Father and over hundred guests, the happy couple became husband and wife at St. Augestine Church in the Philippines. During the ceremony, Jess was so happy that she bursted in tears many times. She expressed that she wore a white wig to symbolize "white hair till old". Dicky was so excited that he nearly put the wedding ring in Jess left hand.

At 2pm yesterday afternoon Dicky arrived at the church with his brother. Dicky said it in English that he was nervious. Jess appeared soon after; she was in a carriage sitting next to mother. Dicky went out to greet them first and then he went inside the church with the page boy and the bridesmaids. Friends and relatives were clapping their hands as he entered the church. Jess then followed accompanied by mother. She was in tears before her mother gave her away to the witness Hsu Hsiao-ming.

Dicky and Jess were exchanging their wedding ring and read the wedding vow in front of the Father. Dicky held her hand and looked at her tentatively, saying "Zhang Qian with this ring, I pledge to be faithful and love." Dicky then put the ring on her finger. Jess was flooded with tears. Dicky used his hand to wipe her tears. but Jess cried even louder. He then used tissue to dry her tears. Dicky also looked over the Father's bible to see if he had read the wedding vow right. When Jess was reading her wedding vow she held back her tears; a lot of the friends and relatives were so touched that they shed tears also, that included Sammi Cheng, Andy Hui and William So. The ceremony concluded in a mixture of laughters and tears.

When the Father said "You can now kiss the bride", the couple kissed for almost one minute. After they signed the marriage certificate, the couple came out to take pictures. It was about 3:30pm when the newly wed left the church in the carriage. Dicky couldn't help kissing his wife and holding her tight. The fans then went inside the churh, hoping to take a glimpse of the stars. The church was full of reporters, guests and fans. It was a chaotic scene.

18 tables were booked for the the wedding banquet in the hotel. There were also firework which lasted for 5 minutes. The wedding cake which took 2 day to make and costs $600 USD has three tiers, decorated with pink sugar roses and 100 sugar crystals. It is estimated the wedding costs about $5,000,000 HKD. Dicky and Jess took turn to speak to the reporters. Dicky told reporters he was very nervious throughout the wedding ceremony. He thought he hasn't finished reading the wedding vow but the Father said he has because the rest should be read by his wife. Dicky even put the wedding ring in the wrong hand. Dicky said "I never believed it is true that a bride is most beautiful on her wedding day." Dicky is now learning how to keep the marriage till he has white hair, he even envies old couples who are still holding hands when they are out in the street. He hopes he can do that when they are old in the future.

Jess told reporters she did all the wedding preparations. It was her idea to wear a white wig and have the white head decorations to symbolize "white hair till old" They will continue to work after the wedding but they have to wait for at least a month before they can go for their honeymoon.
